But it’s also one that could easily be uttered by nearly every member of the Little People, Big World cast at the moment. Indeed, the Roloffs didn’t just reunite over the weekend for a major personal and professional event… they did so under VERY exciting circumstances. Just consider the following: Jacob Roloff got married a few weeks ago to beloved long-time girlfriend Isabel Rock. Tori Roloff is due to welcome a baby girl right around Thanksgiving. Audrey Roloff is due to welcome a baby boy right after the calendar flips to 2020. And Amy Roloff just got engaged to Chris Marek ! All these developments must have given the family plenty to discuss when they met at their farm in Oregon on Saturday and opened pumpkin season by posing for the photo above. Matt Roloff shared the family picture on his Instagram account, explaining via caption that he has the newest member of the family to thank for it even happening this year. “Leave it to Izzy to remind me that today was the best time to get the annual Roloff family photo of the year.. Izzy said. …Matt. We have to do it today at 4pm!” the patriarch wrote, adding in major detail: “Jacob and I are leaving on an extended road trip later today. Zach and Tori will be at the farm right after Jackson’s nap at3:45 pm. Jer and Auj will bring Ember at 4:15 sharp. Amy and Chris here by 4 pm. Matt and Caryn ready any time .. it’s a deal… “We will all be in front of the 2019 sign by 4:30 pm. “We made it.. We got there.. we sat… we gathered..we smiled.. we were a family. Source: FG Trade / Getty Cincinnati City Councilman Chris Seelbach wants to propose a law that would prevent discrimination against natural hair and hairstyles in relation to race. The Councilman told the Cincinnati Enquirer, “People of color have been forced to regard natural and popular hairstyles – such as bantu knots , box braids , cornrows, dreadlocks , or Afros – as liabilities in the workplace, housing and public accommodations.” The law would allow the city to investigate complaints of discrimination against natural hair and hairstyles. If discrimination is found, there is a fine of up to $1000.00 (a $100.00 per day) until the discriminatory practice is corrected. There will be a public discussion on the proposal scheduled for Tuesday with the City Council’s Arts, Youth & Inclusion Committee. The council will vote on a decision on Wednesday. Earlier this year, California passed The Crown Act , a law preventing discrimination for natural hair. NYC released an anti-hair discrimination guideline for people of color and then banned discrimination against natural hair and hairstyles. It’s great to see that states and cities are standing up to protect people of color and allow them the freedom to wear their hairstyles in the manner they choose. Historically, Black people have been inhibited from wearing the hairstyle of their choice in public and live in the fear of being turned down from a job for rocking their natural tresses. We are just moving towards a time where all natural hair textures, particularly Type 4 are being catered to in society and seen more in ads. It’s time for workplaces to follow suit. It’s only been five months since Meghan Markle welcomed her first child . But given the fact that they went with “Archie” for the kid, it stands to reason that she and Harry would want another crack at the naming process. We kid the Sussexes because we love them! But seriously, folks, word on the street is that Meghan is pregnant with baby number two . And when we say “the street,” we mean social media, because we never actually go outside. Anyway, as you may have heard, Meghan and Harry are on tour in South Africa at the moment. It’s one of Meg’s first royal engagements since becoming a mom, and not surprisingly, she and Harry are being photographed non-stop. And as with past royal tours, this means Meghan is forced to endure two very specific types of scrutiny: First, there’s the never-ending commentary about her fashion choices. Don’t get us wrong, we’re sure a limitless supply of cool clothes from the world’s top designers is one of the major perks of being a royal — but it must be more than a little annoying to catch flak for repeating an outfit while touring a foreign continent. The other type of constant inspection Meghan is forced to endure comes courtesy of the millions of amateur obstetricians who are forever holding her midsection up to a microscope. Many of these people are convinced that Meghan is currently expecting her second child. This conclusion appears to be based on nothing other than a handful of amateur photos. But hey, let’s indulge the rumor mill for a moment, shall we? “The camera never lie[s],” a fan named Fanie Jason captioned the pic above. “Meghan Markle could be pregnant again or my imagination is running ahead of me. Some of the photos I took of Meghan and Harry in Cape Town,” she added. Sure. It’s entirely possible that Meghan is pregnant in this photo. But it’s possible that this is just a case of an awkward angle. It’s also important to point out here that Meghan just passed an entire human being through her birth canal less than half a year ago. There’s an outside chance that she’s a mere mortal, and is therefore not rocking six-pack abs at the moment. Harry and Meg say they’re planning to have one more kid , and sadly, this sort of speculation will likely continue until the day they make the announcement. It’s a sad part of the lifestyle that Meghan signed up for when she married Harry. But hey, at least her outfits have been on-point! Even after recently revealing that she feels that Brad Pitt pressured her into marriage , Angelina Jolie has more tea to spill. This time, she’s not talking about their marriage, but about their split and their divorce. Angelina says that she realized that she had lost part of her identity in Brangelina and had to reclaim it. Angelina Jolie is doing her press tour for Maleficent: MIstress of Evil , which means that we are doubly blessed by her interviews. While speaking to Madame Figero , Angelina opened up about ending her marriage to Brad Pitt and filing ofr divorce. She is the first to admit that, all things considered, it was “a complicated moment.” Even when you know that you’re doing the right thing, it’s normal to have doubts. “I didn’t recognize myself anymore,” Angelina confesses. Like the rest of us, Angelina cannot perfectly predict the future — she can only guess. But even then, she knew that her split would be followed by a “period of transition.” “Like a homecoming,” Angelina explains. She goes on to describe it as “a return to [herself].” “I had lost myself a bit,” Angelina laments. Additionally, she reflects upon her feelings at the time when her “relationship with Brad was coming to an end.” Angelina says that she felt “smaller, almost insignificant” during her time as part of that power couple. She says that this was the case “even if it wasn’t necessarily obvious.” “I felt a deep and genuine sadness,” Angelina reveals. She expresses: “I was hurt.” Angelina says that spending time outside of that realationship and as a single mom has been good for her. She has praised the opportunity to “reconnect with this humility and this insignificance.” She can be humble all that she likes, but insignificant? Never. “All these things settle in you,” Angelina explains. She continues: “and remind you of how lucky you are of being alive.” Angelina and Brad share a number of children, the eldest of whom is Maddox. Now an adult, Maddox was at the heart of the incident that prompted Angelina to file to divorce Brad and to report Brad to the FBI for child-abuse. Maddox is currently estranged from his fother — and attending a university in South Korea. “I drop him off,” Angelina revealed in a video. “I know, I’m trying not to cry. … It’s really really exciting.” “It was such an unbelievable moment,” she expressed at the time about Maddox reaching this milestone. Angelina has been vilified for years, dating back to even before she “stole” Brad from Jennifer Aniston. In real life, of course, “stealing” a person is kidnapping. Angelina did nothing of the kind. People angry about Jen and Brad’s breakup need point the finger only at Brad. These are the same people who were gleeful when Brangelina broke up, and eager to cast Angelina as the villain once again. Jill Duggar is in a tough spot. Ever since Derick Dillard got fired from Counting On two years ago, her family has been without any steady source of income. ( Jill quit the show as a gesture of solidarity — a move she probably regrets these days.) All Duggars are expected to devote their adult lives to two equally important pursuits: Helping to enrich the family media empire, and cranking out a whole lot of babies. Unfortunately, Jill seems to have little interest in either objective at the moment, Not only does her current financial situation prohibit further family expansion, it seems Jill finds raising two boys to be such a handful that she’s considering closing up shop. Just one week after Jill and Derick revealed that they’re expanding their family with the addition of a new puppy, Jill took to Instagram to vent her frustrations over the ever-increasing demands of mom life. Yes, it seems the situation at Casa de Dillard got a little raucous over the weekend. It all started when Jill’s sons Sam and Israel decided to get out of bed and redecorate the kitchen. “This is me frustrated,” Dillard said in her Instagram story documenting the incident. “[My son] is screaming at me because he wants a game. I just told them to go lay down or go outside until mommy can cool down and handle this situation.” And the chocolate sauce all over the kitchen wasn’t the only mess Jill had to contend with. It seems Sam and Israel also drew all over the walls with a pencil, which forced Jill to clean up with an eraser. “Just venting over here… [laugh out loud],” Jill captioned her post in an effort to keep the mood light. Of course, in the initial video, Jill griped that her life is almost unbearably stressful with “just two kids” — a comment that’s led many to the conclusion that she and Derick are done having children, Fortunately, Jill has figured out a brilliant strategy for preventing more offspring from entering her life — birth control. Yes, that might sound obvious, but most Duggars view birth control pills as the devil’s Tic Tacs. The Dillards have admitted to using birth control in the past, a fact that alarmed fans, as it was widely assumed that their faith forbade them from doing so. In any event, the situation at Jill’s house eventually calmed down, as the boys became distracted by a neighbor’s dog. And it seems Jill’s been benefitting from a time-tested coping mechanism of her own: “Have lots of good sex!” Derick wrote in a recent blog post about what he considers to be the keys to a successful marriage. “You both need this time together regularly (5-6 times (or more) a week is a good start),” Dillard added. “Guys, you need to keep yourself ‘joyfully available’ for your wife, because only you can fulfill certain desires she might have.” Needless to say, it’s a very good thing that these two don’t share her parents’ views on birth control! If you’ve been keeping up, you know that Amanda Seales has been speaking out since Emmys weekend when she was escorted out of an after-party meant to celebrate Black Hollywood. While she initially, in Instagram Stories from that very night and event, said a white woman named Kiara had made sure she was kicked out, during the “Side Effects of Professionalism Part 1” episode of her Small Doses podcast last week, she changed her tune. The 38-year-old comedian and actress placed blame, publicly, on Vanessa Anderson , a fellow Black woman, who does PR for Issa Rae and puts together the party every year. Amanda mentioned that the two have never really hit it off, but implied that the fact that Vanessa would go so far as to have her removed from the space felt incredibly unfair and uncalled for. This was not a birthday party…It was not a naming ceremony. This was a Hollywood party for Black entertainers and contributors to Hollywood,” she said. “So by nature of that, I am a part of that industry and should be here celebrating with my community.” “It’s very frustrating to be somebody who’s just trying to do good work and have to deal with this type of unprofessionalism,” she added. “To have to deal with this type of informality and to deal with this literal type of petty a– f–kery, and Hollywood is so rife with this.” However, Amanda’s co-star, Sarunas Jackson , decided to speak on the situation, saying in a since deleted tweet responding to our story that if Amanda is going to be disrespectful, she can’t expect people to welcome her to things. That’s us putting it mildly, to be honest. “You can’t be a disrespectful-a– human being and expect people to want to hang out with you,” he said. “It’s quite simple.
