For months now, we've been hearing rumors that Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer are dating. As far as we can tell, the family dynamic breaks down like this: Ivanka is the obvious favorite, and in a more permissive time and place, she would likely wind up replacing her father’s mysteriously-slain wife in an ill-defined role, after Milania was snuffed out in a nefarious plot straight out of Shakespeare or George R.R. Don Jr., of course, is his father’s right-hand man and future fall guy, and as much as the sight of his shaved ferret visage might cause your lunch to rise in the back of your throat, the thought of him still defending his dad in his third or fourth year of sporting a county orange jumpsuit should give you a chuckle. Barron is just trying to maintain, and we very much look his Mommie Dearest -esque memoir about his years in the White House. And then there’s Tiffany — the most mysterious of the Trump children. For the most part, Tiff managed to keep a low profile during the years in which her father transitioned from harmless reality TV punchline to dangerous demagogue punchline. Prior to that transformation, Tiffany tried to make it as a singer , but she was held back by uncertainty within the music industry and the fact that she’s utterly lacking in anything resembling talent. In the year’s since her father rode a wave of white supremacist furor — sorry, “economic anxiety” — to the White House, Tiffany has been embroiled in the occasional mini-scandal here and there, but it’s usually just the usual gross nonsense we’ve come to expect from her dad, such as the time video emerged of Donald discussing Tiffany’s future breasts when she was a baby. (Again, the remnants of your most recent sandwich burbling up to your uvula is the appropriate response here.) It’s great for Tiff that she’s been able to distance herself from her sundowning dad, but the reason he’s allowed her to do so is undeniably sad. By all accounts, Donald simply doesn’t like Tiffany . The nature of their tempestuous relationship was essentially confirmed this week when a White House assistant named Madeline Westerhout made some off the record comments about Tiffany at a New Jersey golf club while in the company of reporters. “She had a couple drinks and in an uncharacteristically unguarded moment, she opened up to the reporters,” one insider told Politico. Specifically, Westerhout claimed that the president does not like to be photographed with Tiffany due to the fact that he considers her overweight. Westerhout was promptly fired for her comments, and Trump refuted the claim while speaking with reporters over Labor Day weekend. “I love Tiffany,” the president said, adding that she’s “great person,” which might be the most half-assed fatherly sentiment in history. Donald added that Westerhout’s comments are “absolutely false” and “hurtful.” “While Madeleine Westerhout has a fully enforceable confidentiality agreement, she is a very good person and I don’t think there would ever be reason to use it,” he later tweeted. “She called me yesterday to apologize, had a bad night. I fully understood and forgave her! I love Tiffany, doing great!” You know he had to cut himself off before adding: “I’m a very Forgiving President, folks. Last week saw the release of a new Taylor Swift album, and while fans of good music have already moved on to Lana Del Rey’s latest release, fans of petty drama are still dissecting Lover’s lyrics in search of clues. Of course, while there’s surely much for Swiftologists to decipher in the their queen’s new songs, true to its name, Lover seems to be more inspired by Taylor’s relationship with Joe Alwyn than by her many quarrels. That’s a little disappointing, becuase Tay has a whole lot of irons in the fire these days in terms of personal and professional rivalries, including an unexpected beef with Demi Lovato. It all started when Swift expressed her displeasure with the fact that music mogul Scooter Braun has purchased the rights to her earliest albums. Swift slammed Braun in a lengthy social media tirade, writing: “Some fun facts about today’s news: I learned about Scooter Braun’s purchase of my masters as it was announced to the world,” Taylor wrote. “All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years,” she added. This led to tension between Taylor and Demi, who has long been a supporter of Braun’s. “I have dealt with bad people in this industry, and Scooter is not one of them. He’s a good man,” Lovato wrote in Braun’s defense. “Personally, I’m grateful he came into my life when he did. Please stop ‘dragging’ people or bullying them. There’s enough hate in this world as it is. Y’all can come after me all you want, but I’m always gonna stay loyal to my team,” Demi added. “I value loyalty more than most people in this world, and if my name is gonna be brought into conversations, I’m gonna stand up for myself and the ones on my team,” she concluded. The situation between the singers deteriorated so rapidly that it was rumored that Demi skipped the VMAs just to “shade” Taylor on her big night. We later learned that Lovato actually had a legitimate reason for staying home that had nothing to do with Swift. (She was filming an episode of Will & Grace , and will apparently be a regular cast member on the sitcom next season.) And now, Demi is making sure the world knows that she harbors no ill will toward Taylor. “Life’s too short for women not to support other women…especially when women release great music,” she wrote, on Instagram, adding “great job @taylorswift.” The last comment seems to be a reference to Taylor’s new album, which is apparently a favorite of Demi’s. The singer made it clear that she’s a fan by highlighting her favorite track: So there you have it. The beef between Taylor and Demi was very real — but it’s already been squashed. It’s been a few months since we last heard from Thomas Markle. In case you were wondering, however, the bitter father of Meghan did not exactly change his angry tune during this mini media hiatus. He still wants to know if he’ll ever meet his grandson , Archie — and he still thinks the Duchess of Sussex totally sucks for keeping the lad away from his grandpa. Speaking to The Mail on Sunday — for the first time since Meghan Markle gave birth — Thomas reiterated several points he’s made before, telling the outlet: He is yet to meet Archie. Meghan won’t return his calls. And this whole situation just stinks, you guys! “I would like them to send me a picture of Archie so I can frame it on my wall beside the one of Meghan,” Thomas said, referring to a photo of himself and his daughter together at a football game. “Isn’t that what any grandfather would want? I’d love to know if he’s got the famous Markle nose,” he added. Thomas, of course, has been estranged from his famous daughter for decades. He’s been living a reclusive existence in Mexico for years, yet he made headlines early last year after confessing that he accepted money from the paparazzi in exchange for letting them take pictures of him. Thomas then suffered some health problems and did not attend the Royal Wedding in May of 2018. Markle now claims that neither Meghan nor Prince Harry reached out to him in the hospital and “never once has Meghan ever asked me how I’m doing. Not then, not since.” He also told the Mail on Sunday that he has apologized many times for staging the photos in the manner described above — and most recently sent Meghan a card for her 38th birthday. The response? Crickets. “I sent her a card via her financial adviser in L.A. but received no acknowledgment,” he told the publication. “I have no idea if she got it.” Thomas has said on numerous occasions that he just wants to be a small part of Meghan’s life, but that the Royal Beauty refuses to give him the proverbial, or actual, time of day. “There was never any problem between Meghan and me until recently,” he continued in this interview, adding: “I’ve stayed quiet because Meghan was pregnant with Archie but I’m speaking out now because they and their PR people are continuing to ghost me out of her life.” Does he hope to someday see and interact with his is grandson? D’uh! “Of course, I’m disappointed not to see Archie,” he continued. “I had hoped becoming a mother would mellow Meghan and she would reach out.” Meghan and Harry are both well-known for their humanitarian efforts. They’re considered an especially charitable and giving couple, but Thomas thinks the twosome have failed to live up to this billing. “Everyone raves about how gracious and wonderful they are, but they are not wonderful to their own family. That’s hypocritical,” he said simply. “You can’t portray yourself as being charitable and bringing people together and then ghost your own father and your entire family. Amber Portwood has spoken out for the first time since her arrest for domestic assault on July 5. Like, truly for the first time, we mean. Yes, the troubled Teen Mom OG star has shared the occasional cryptic social media post . But she hasn't directly addressed what went down between her and Andrew Glennon (and their young son, James) during an incident that led to her being charged with THREE felonies. Most specifically, she hasn't directly addressed the accusation that she attacked Glennon and James with a machete… … until now. As part of a Teen Mom reunion special that aired on September 3, Amber spoke to Dr. Drew Pinsky about this arrest and this allegation. Here is what she said: 1. Let’s Go Over the Arrest Again, Shall We? Glennon texted 911 early on the morning of July 5 and told the operator that he thought Portwood really might kill him or little James, who was around 14 months old at the time. 2. Portwood Was Then Arrested The reality TV star was subsequently charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old, per court documents obtained various outlets. 3. What Did She Do? This is the main question, right? Amber has admitted to throwing a shoe at Glennon, but told the police that it barely grazed him. 4. Did She Threaten Suicide? Yes, Glennon has said. He told authorities that Amber actually swallowed a number of Klonopin pills, only to later throw them back up. 5. Amber Has Denied This Claim Not personally. We haven’t heard her say it. But sources have indicated that Portwood denies the suicide/pill allegation. 6. Okay. Now Let’s Discuss the Machete. Bachelor in Paradise ? More like One Less Bachelor in Paradise After One of the Show’s Most Popular Suitors Stunned Fans by Walking Away Last Night. This revamped version of the ABC program’s title sums up the shocking turn of events that we just witnessed. Just a few days ago, John Paul Jones and Derek Peth squared off at Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone’s televised wedding, with The Betchlor podcast host recounting the conversation to Haley Ferguson on Monday night’s episode. It all came as a surprise to Haley — who had gone on a date with Jones after arriving in Paradise and then accepted his rose — that he had strong feelings Tayshia. I did not know that at all,” Haley told Derek, adding in an on-camera interview: “It’s so random this Tayshia thing… I don’t know anything about the fact that he was into Tayshia. I’m honestly pissed.” Haley therefore figured she would confront Jones after hearing secondhand about his relationship with Tayshia. She wanted verification. We did hit it off. We had so much fun on the date,” Jones told her. “I just can’t really do anything, I just hit it off with Tayshia first.” Haley replied with how she “felt really hurt,” as Jones eventually told Haley to “explore” her “options.” “I never wanted to be a backup plan,” she responded in very understandable fashion. From there, JPJ’s night only grew worse when Derek asked him to speak again in the hopes that he could “seek some understanding as to where all this started.” However, Jones continued to insist that Derek wasn’t the “right guy for Tayshia.” “You don’t get to decide that,” Peth shot back. “She gets to decide that, not you.” “She already decided that,” Jones retorted. Tayshia watched this all go down and was anything but pleased about it. “This is so unnecessary,” she said. “It’s exhausting and it’s very frustrating for me. I’ve been contemplating breaking it off with both of them because I’m done and I’m over it.” Haley could relate. She also felt exasperated with the show and the set-up and ready to give up on love altogether. Thankfully, the next day brought a pair of new arrivals: Matt Donald and Luke Stone from Hannah Brown‘s very recent season of The Bachelorette . However, both Matt and Luke ended up taking out Sydney Lotuaco and Kristina Schulman, respectively. With this double date underway, Tayshia went and talked to Jones once more. Jones continued to break down, while Tayshia said in an on-camera chat that she still felt “torn” between the two men. That is, until she made another decision and broke things off with Derek. She explained that the timing was simply off and it had nothing to do with Jones, but Derek felt “self-loathing” and “sadness,” he said, believing there was no one else for him in Mexico besides Tayshia. “I just want to find somebody,” he told viewers. “Like, how many years do I have to wait for that to happen?” This was no act, either. Derek promptly called everyone together and dropped his bombshell: This is really hard to talk to a group of people who I’ve really grown so close to.
