For this year’s festivities, 21 is partnering with Amazon Music, Leading by Example Foundation, and Momma Flystyle for the event that takes place on Sunday, August 4. Since his rise to stardom, 21 Savage has made an effort to continually give back to his community as much as he can. The purpose of his annual back-to-school drive is to giveaway school uniforms, school supplies, and free haircuts for both boys and girls before the start of the new year. Waithe already planned to release her horror anthology series, Them , on the Amazon platform, but the new deal opens the door for more dope content. Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke expressed her excitement about the deal. “Lena is a powerhouse writer and producer who also has a gift for identifying exciting and authentic voices..Our upcoming series Them is the result of her rare ability to cultivate brilliant voices like Little Marvin and bring his wholly original and compelling vision to Amazon. We look forward to collaborating with Lena and her team for years to come.” Waithe said she’s ready the next step: “I couldn’t be more excited about this new partnership with Amazon Studios and am looking forward to this next chapter..Both of our goals are aligned in that we want to continue elevating storytellers who are underrepresented and have a unique vision of the world.” In addition to her currently running programs, Waithe’s hyped film Queen & Slim is set to drop in November.

Matthew Gibson, 26, was reportedly pronounced dead at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the Cook County medical examiner’s office announced. The alleged passenger who shot him , has been charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, and is expected to face a murder count, according to Cook County prosecutors. Lee, 27, of Englewood, was denied bail during a hearing on Tuesday. Gibson was driving when he pulled alongside a white SUV waiting to make a left turn, prosecutors said. Lee, was seated in the front passenger seat and began firing at the SUV with a .40-caliber handgun and accidentally shot Gibson in the head.. Even with the gunshot wound, Gibson was able to drive more than two miles to the 6700 block of South Marshfield. A 22-year-old man was also wounded in the shooting. His death was ruled a homicide. Lee was paroled April 21 after serving eight years for a 2011 conviction for aggravated battery with a handgun, according to Illinois Department of Corrections records.

According to reports from NBC 4 Washington , 26-year-old Rebecca Kanter was arrested on Tuesday after she allegedly threatened to “blow up” the Swedish Embassy in Washington D.C. during a protest of the rapper’s incarceration. A Secret Service Officer stated that Kanter first appeared at the Swedish complex on Monday, which is when she “threw liquid from a glass Coca Cola bottle at the doorway and yelled out ‘I’m going to blow this motherf***er up.’” She reportedly left the premises before law enforcement could intervene, but she went on to social media to write about her efforts. “Why isn’t it breaking news that I defiled the House of Sweden last night, that I vandalized the Wold Bank, that I vandalized the IMF,” she wrote online, according to a criminal complaint . “Why aren’t I getting press for ASAP?” Weird flex, but okay. Here’s your press, ma’am. Kanter returned to the scene the following day, allegedly shouting profanities at embassy personnel and a student tour group. She was also accused of damaging property within the building. When Embassy staff demanded that Kanter to leave the premises, she refused–which is when the police were called. The 26-year-old was arrested by secret service and booked on charges of willfully injuring and damaging property of a foreign government and refusing to depart a foreign embassy. She has reportedly been released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 31.

And not only that, but the Real Housewives of Orange County cast member has moved right into the arms of a very attractive new suitor. According to People Magazine, Beador is now dating a fellow California native named John Janssen. He’s a divorced father of three who graduated years ago from the University of Southern California. Janssen is 56 years old, met Beador through a mutual friend and he works as a partner at an insurance firm. “Shannon’s really happy,” a source close to the couple tells this publication , adding of her new lover: “He’s a great guy, and really adores her. And she is equally smitten. They make a great couple together and have been having a lot of fun.” Just how serious is this romance? It’s a bit too early to say for certain, but both sides have met the other’s kids — which is obviously a pretty huge deal in the world of dating and relationships. “The girls really like him,” the insider says of Shannon’s three daughters: Sophie, 18, and twins Stella and Adeline, 15. This past Tuesday, as you can see above, Shannon posed on Instagram with Janssen, sharing a smiling photo of the two during a night out in Newport Beach. It’s been quite a journey for Beador to arrive at this happy place in her personal life. Shannon and ex-husband David Beador broke up in September 2017 after over 17 years of marriage; she then filed to end their marriage in December of this same year. Accusations of infidelity were subsequently hurled back and forth by both Shannon and David, with the former admitting she gained forty pounds due to stress from the marriage and then the split. She said many times that David checked out of the relationship as soon as her body started to change. Finally, after a year and a half of ugly allegations, the reality stars settled their divorce in April — he agreed to pay her $1.4 million . The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards made everyone’s day on Tuesday with a scathing Twitter rant about the cast’s drama . The 29-tweet takedown saw Kyle spilling all the tea about her conflict with several cast members, and especially former costar Lisa Vanderpump. But there was no way Lisa was going to take that lying down, and now she’s clapping back in response to Kyle’s tweet-storm. “It’s ironic, now I’m not so hurt I can be more objective,” Lisa began, while discussing the drama with a fan on Thursday. “If I wanted to hurt any of them, there were so many things going on,” she said. According to Lisa, the ammo she had against her former costars included “lawsuits, bankruptcies, shops failing, shows cancelled, loans in default, etc.” “I never said a word,” the 58-year-old resterautuer recalled. Maybe she didn’t then, but it seems like now Lisa is ready to put social graces aside and throw a little shade herself. Lisa did preserve a bit of class, opting not to go into specifics, but it’s pretty clear what she’s talking about. The lawsuits Lisa mentioned must surely include the one against Kyle’s husband Mauricio. Mauricio’s real estate company is accused of scamming someone out of $37 million, and it’s been a tender subject for Kyle. The failed shop is likely Kyle’s Beverly Hills store, Kyle by Alene Too, which closed down for good last year. And the cancelled show is probably American Woman , another of Kyle’s projects, which was canned after just one season. It seems like most of Lisa’s shade is aimed at Kyle, even if she’s not exactly spelling it out for us. “Me on the other hand,” Lisa continued, “I am a liar, coward, sniper, bad teeth, awful friend.” “Terrible wine, the list goes on… awful really,” Lisa recalled, listing the many greivances her costars seem to have with her. Honestly though, Kyle didn’t mention any of those things in her twitter rant. Clearly Lisa has internalized some of the criticism she’s received from the cast elsewhere, and is choosing this moment to pop off about it. But let’s not put words in Kyle’s mouth. She didn’t show up on twitter just to assassinate Lisa’s character. As we can see from Kyle’s flurry of tweet’s, Lisa’s falling out with the cast is rooted in the now infamous dog drama between Lisa and Dorit Kemsley. Long story short, Dorit adopted a dog from Lisa’s Vanderpump Dog Foundation, and it didn’t work out. Instead of returning the dog to Lisa’s foundation, Dorit found a new owner for the dog, who in turn sent the dog to some other shelter. This apparent betrayal caused bad blood between Dorit and Lisa, and grew into a conflict between Lisa and pretty much all the other housewives. Rather than coming at Lisa for her “bad teeth,” Kyle accused her of “scheming about how to make your friend look bad.” According to Kyle, this scheming has become a pattern for Lisa, and that’s why none of the other housewives seem to like or trust her. It’s so important to really listen to your friends when they say they have a problem with your actions, especially if it’s a pattern of repeated behaviors. If your only response to criticism is to fixate on what names you’ve been called and shift the focus to someone else’s flaws, then you’re probably missing the point. Despite being ousted from the gang, Lisa seems to feel like she’s not missing out. “Glad I stepped away,” she said in summation. “Also pump rules has been amazing this year,” she concluded, taking the opportunity to plug her own show. Although Lisa won’t be on future seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , Part 3 of the Reunion Special will air next week on Bravo. Way back in January of 2017, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard finalized their divorce by signing a non-disclosure agreement that prevented either side from talking about the split publicly. One of the goals of the agreement was to prevent messy court battles over statements made to the press. It seems the plan backfired in spectacular fashion, however, as Depp is currently suing Heard for $50 million, alleging that she violated the agreement by writing a Washington Post op-ed about her experiences as an abuse victim. Heard never referred to Depp by name, but given the high profile nature of their brief marriage and ugly divorce, there was little doubt whom she was talking about. Thus far, the court battle has been a nightmare for both parties, as new allegations of appalling behavior have been hurled in both directions. In written statements, Heard has called Depp an alcoholic “monster” who repeatedly assaulted her and tried to have her blacklisted in Hollywood following their divorce. Depp has countered by accusing Heard of painting bruises on her face and body in order to frame him for divorce. He claims that Heard tried to cut off his finger during one of the then-couple’s infamous 2015 meltdown in Australia. This week, in an amended filing, Depp made a new claim about that ugly altercation, claiming that when he tried to distance himself from Heard, the actress shoved a lit cigarette in his face. According to documents obtained by The Blast, Depp claims that Heard flew “into a rage” after she learned of his “intention to enter into a post-nuptial agreement.” Depp claims that at that point he had not had a drink in over a year, but retreated to a basement bar in the residence where the couple was staying in order to avoid Heard. “She followed him, screaming at him abusively,” Depp’s legal team writes. The filing goes on to claim that Heard became further enraged when she encountered Depp drinking vodka. At that point, she began hurling bottles. One of them shattered, resulting in Depp’s infamous severed finger. Allegedly not content with the damage she had done “Ms. Heard then put a cigarette out on [Depp’s] right cheek,” claims Johnny’s legal team. Heard’s lawyers have already fired back in a statement denying the accusation. “This allegation is absurd, offensive and categorically untrue,” the attorneys write. “ This photograph proves nothing – apart from the fact that Johnny Depp is desperate to throw out any outlandish allegation to deflect attention from his physical and ongoing psychological abuse of Amber Heard.” While it’s unclear how this latest allegation will be received by the judge, Depp’s legal team already scored a minor victory this week. The actor’s lawyers have been arguing that since Heard’s piece was published in D.C., the trial should take place in nearby Virginia, and not in California, as Heard’s attorneys wanted.
