The legendary singer, who died of a drug overdose in 2012 , would have been 54 years old on Wednesday. Why is this noteworthy? Why are we writing about the seemingly innocent act of two artists acknowledging someone who has a great influence on their career? Because the birthday wishes devolved into a reignition of an old feud between Brandy and Monica, culminating in the former going off on an angry rant against all haters on Instagram. We’ll start with Monica’s message in honor of Houston. It included a black and white photo of the late superstar, along with the following caption: Happy Heavenly Birthday Nippy … You still inspire many & touch hearts daily… You will forever be the greatest …. You will forever be missed. Pretty simple and very sweet. A few hours later, Brandy shared a collection of photos of herself and Houston, writing a lengthy note alongside it that reads as follows: Lord have mercy on my soul!!! Happy Born Day Whitney. You live on in me… I can feel your Spirit inside of me and all around me. My angel, my friend, my fairy God Mother. I love you forever… thank you for trusting me with the torch!!! Tameka Foster has not been married to Usher for eight years. The couple, who share two kids, got divorced in November of 2009. But apparently time doesn’t heal all wounds, as Foster is using Usher’s ongoing STD scandal to slam the singer pretty hard. To be clear, the scandal actually is not ongoing . It’s just that news of Usher’s seemingly sordid past with an unnamed ex-lover has only gone viral this week. In a story we shared this morning, the artist was sued back in 2012 because a former fling claimed in court that Usher continued to have unprotected sex with her… despite knowing he had been infected with Herpes . This woman alleges that Usher’s penis started to ooze some kind of green discharge during a hook-up, but he successfully convinced her it was not a sexually-transmitted disease. The pair continued to engage in intercourse for about three weeks, only for the woman to wake up one day with a “fever, chills, aches and pains.” A doctor eventually diagnosed her with Herpes and Usher acknowledged he likely gave it to her. In a legal declaration obtained by Radar Online, the accuser said she “feels that her health and body have been ruined,” and she “has suffered severe emotional distress and has been extremely depressed … knowing there is no cure.” Usher settled the lawsuit for $1.1 million on December 28, 2012. Like the rest of us, Foster learned about this shady tale on Wednesday… and wasted very little time responding. “UNF***WITHABLE: When you’re truly at peace and in touch with yourself & nothing anyone says or does bothers you and no negativity can touch you,” she shared on Instagram, along with a caption that reads: Do not come on my page discussing rumors or adult people that have NOTHING to do with me. Image via Getty Girlfriend Burns Boyfriend Then Pours Urine On Him To Put Him Out 38-year-old Leigh Ann Sepelyak has been arrested and charged with multiple crimes after she set her boyfriend on fire while he was sleeping, then doused him with urine to put him out. According to CBS Pittsburgh, Leigh and her bae Grady Spencer got into it Sunday night, and when he fell asleep, she poured gasoline all over him, lit a cigarette, and threw it onto the bed. As Spencer jumped out the bed in a panic, Sepelyak was ready with a fresh bucket of urine to extinguish the flames. Why did she have a bucket of urine in the first place? Well, Leigh Ann and Grady were living in her parent’s basement. They had been using the bucket as a toilet. Leigh Ann’s sautéed boyfriend was carted off to the hospital with 25 of his body covered in burns and placed in critical condition. She has been charged with attempted homicide and arson. Apparently revenge doesn’t necessarily have to be cold.
WENN New VH1 Show Brings Unsigned Talent To Music Legends VH1 has recruited some pretty serious music legends for their upcoming show, ‘SIGNED’. The show will have rapper Rick Ross , singer/songwriter The-Dream, and Roc Nation’s Lenny S. The three of them will be introduced to unsigned talent and work to develop these Hip Hop hopefuls into full-blown stars. Blessed.
