Miranda Lambert won Best Female Vocalist at the CMA Awards for the sixth consecutive time on Wednesday night. But this one felt different from past victories. Lambert didn’t just divorce fellow country star Blake Shelton a few months ago, she spent this week hearing all about rumors that Shelton is now dating pop icon and The Voice co-star Gwen Stefani. Then, mere hours before the CMAs aired live from Nashville, Stefani confirmed she is boning Shelton , Lambert’s famous ex-husband. Who, of course, happened to be in attendance at the event. Awkward much?!? But Lambert handled the situation like a professional, first putting on an outstanding performance of her new single “Bathroom Sink” and then being called on stage to accept the aforementioned award. “Man, I appreciate it. I needed a bright spot this year, so thank you,” the artist said in her acceptance speech, making a clear reference to her divorce. Mentioning another powerhouse performance from an unlikely duo earlier in the evening, Lambert then added in conclusion: “I love country music fans, and I’m just gonna keep it short, but Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton, thank you very much. I’m gonna go home and practice. “Thank y’all very much, I love y’all.” Lambert defeated such major stars as Carrie Underwood and Kacey Musgraves to take home Best Female Vocalist here in 2015. Justin Timberlake didn't bring sexy back at the 2015 Country Music Awards . Instead, the pop singer went a little bit country for the occasion, teaming up with Chris Stapleton at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to duet on “Tennessee Whiskey” and “Drink You Away.” And Mr. Jessica Biel proved to be quite the good luck charm for the up-and-coming country singer, as Stapleton went on to win New Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist and Album of the Year. Timberlake and Stapleton have known each other for years, with news of their unexpected performance breaking on Monday. The former boy band member Tweeted a photo from rehearsals at the time, writing “honored to share the stage with this BADASS. Wed night. Memphis x Nashville,” to which Stapleton replied: “The feeling couldn’t be more mutual #nashvilletnkids.” And just how impressive were these musical superstars? They actually earned a shout-out in Miranda Lambert's acceptance speech for Best Female Vocalist. “I'm just gonna keep it short, but Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton, thank you very much. I'm gonna go home and practice,” the country music sensation said of her fellow artists. Stapleton released hid debut solo album in May. Prior to going out on his own, he wrote singles for such singers as Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan and Adele. That's quite the resume. And this was quite the duet. Olivia Culpo has reportedly moved on from a singer to a signal caller. The former beauty pageant champion, who split from Nick Jonas this summer and openly talked about her subsequent heartbreak , is reportedly getting it on now with Tim Tebow. By which, of course, we mean that Culpo is getting her dinner and her movies on with the ex-NFL quarterback. Because Tebow is a virgin who is waiting until marriage before he enters any woman’s secret garden… if you know what we mean. “Tim’s super into her,” an insider tells Us Weekly of the Heisman Trophy winner. “It’s very new, but he thinks she is a goddess. Former Publicist Admits Fabricating Jay Z And Rihanna Cheating Rumor Rihanna’s former publicist has come out to publicly apologize for single-handedly creating the major rumor that has chased the starlet since the early days of her career. Jonathan Hay, who worked with Rihanna in the very beginning of her push to fame, admitted to planting the story that Jay Z was carrying on a secret illicit affair with his new young signee. Hay wrote in an e-mail to the New York Daily News that he had already apologized to Jay Z, and more recently to Beyonce for making up the story that rocked their relationship and branded a scarlet letter on RihRih’s chest for years to come. The confession comes as he was recently outed in a new unofficial tell-all on Beyonce’s personal life, set to hit shelves soon. “I was blindsided by the news of ‘Becoming Beyoncé’ coming out and it couldn’t come at a worse time for me. I’m currently releasing projects with my label Urban Hitchcock through Tidal, a company that is owned by Jay Z and Beyoncé … Hopefully this news hasn’t ruined that relationship for me.” Well we’re willing to bet it AT LEAST put a strain on things… especially seeing as how he got the ball rolling on a year-long split between the power couple. SMH. But why did he make this isht up in the first place? Hay says he was just super-desperate to get “Pon de Replay” popping back when Rihanna was just the new little island girl on the block at Roc Nation. “The pr stunt that I did was out of desperation to help break ‘Pon de Replay.’ It was reckless and I didn’t think it was going to work. I was just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what would stick. I didn’t think it would be this big story. But now, seeing Beyoncé on the cover of this book and knowing that people are profiting from speculations and opinions about her really turns my stomach. I’m ashamed that I’m even talking about this. I just want to put this rumor to rest once and for all.” He SHOULD be ashamed!! This man could have legitimately broken up a marriage while playing games to get spins. It will be interesting to see how far his career goes now that everyone knows he made up such a major lie to garner popularity for his artist.
