Liam Payne Tweets Love for Robertson Family, Explains Controversial Support

Liam Payne got himself in a bit of trouble over Twitter yesterday. With the cast of Duck Dynasty under scrutiny for Phil Robertson’s scandalous remarks toward gays last month, the One Direction singer addressed Phil’s son, Willie, and wrote: “Huge love to you/your family huge respect for your business prosperities and the family values you still all behold. big fan.” It didn’t take long for a war to then break out online between gay rights advocates and fans of Payne, who rushed to the artist’s defense. Two hours after posting the controversial Tweet, Payne himself sent another message: “Being a fan of someones show and the way they still hold a family together doesnt mean i am ok with all they say….  just watched a show and I liked it as most people do.” That’s fine, of course. But it’s the family values line that caused the most outrage. Duck Dynasty kicked off Season 5 on Wednesday to very low ratings . The series lost 3.5 million viewers from its Season 4 premiere. Might folks be sick of the Robertsons? Might this be a one-time glitch? Might they choose to watch Duck Dynasty online instead of on TV? And what do you think of Payne’s support for the family?

Madonna Drops N Bomb in Reference to Son, Tells Haters: Get Off My D-ck!

Madonna is once again in hot water. And she has once again dropped her son right into the middle of the scandal. A couple weeks after posting an Instagram shot her 13-yar old Rocco holding a bottle of gin – and telling critics to “get a sense of humor” – the Material Girl has published another photo of the teenager on the social media site. In this case, Rocco is boxing and the accompanying caption rads: “No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you ! #disnigga” As you might expect, it was the hashtag that has landed Madonna in trouble. Backlash quickly arose on Twitter, with one follower writing to the artist: “MADONNA U NEED TO TAKE UR arthritis medicine instead of trying to be hip on the internet.” In response, Madonna deleted the image and then put it back up with a new caption that reads: “Ok let me start this again. #get off of my dick haters!” Alright, then. REPORT: Justin Bieber Hooked on Drugs, In Need of Rehab

According to a new report, Justin Bieber may not simply be a spoiled, entitled, havoc-creating celebrity who throws eggs at his neighbor’s home purely out of ego. He may have a drug problem. Justin Bieber Scandal Rewind Well-connected insider tell TMZ that Bieber has serious substance abuse issues. He allegedly uses sizzurp – a mix of codein, promethazine, Sprite and a Jolly Rancher on a frequent basis. This substance, popular in the hip hop world, has been known to cause seizures. But that’s not all. Bieber also pops prescription pills, such as Xanax, and regularly gets drunk and smokes marijuana. How bad are these problems? Those close to the artist have been pushing for him to attend rehab, though it doesn’t appear as if Justin is listening. A few days ago, good friend Lil Za was arrested for drug possession (likely Molly, a form of Ecstasy) and some believe Bieber paid off his pal to take the fall for him. Bieber has remained silence ever since a video surfaced that appeared to verify he egged his neighbor’s home. Police subsequently raided Justin’s residence and are going through possible evidence that links him to the crime. He may face felony vandalism charges.

Demi Lovato Shows Off Bikini Body, Accidentally Silver Hair

Let’s see what those mean fans on Twitter have to say now. Demi Lovato took to the Internet today and posted a couple fun photos of herself on the beach, first giving Instagram followers a nice look at her VERY nice beach body. “2014… feeling healthy, feeling rested.. Y’all ain’t ready!!!!  #NEONLIGHTSTOUR,” she captioned the following photo. It’s nice to see Lovato proud of her figure for a chance, isn’t it? Considering the time she spent in rehab for an eating disorder a few years ago? You don’t need a boob job , Demi. In another beach-based selfie, the artist flashes a small smile while wearing sunglasses and showing off her multicolored hair. Which was actually an accident this time around. “Too much swimming = silver hair…. And I don’t hate it….” she wrote. Neither do we!

Jared Padalecki Tweets Shade at Justin Bieber, Incurs Wrath of Beliebers

Jared Padalecki has come out swinging against Justin Bieber. And he appears to be aiming for a knockout. Following Lil Za’s arrest for cocaine yesterday, the Supernatural star took to Twitter and taunted the artist with the following question: “Hey @justinbieber, how much are you paying your friend for pretending that it was HIS cocaine, and taking the fall for you?” Oh yes. Shade. Thrown. Sources now say the substance found inside Bieber’s home – via a raid brought on by Bieber likely egging his neighbor’s home last week, causing thousands in damages – was likely ecstasy, not cocaine. But that is beside Padalecki’s point, of course. Justin was not “connected” to the drug stash, authorities say, but the actor is making it clear just who he believes the white powder actually belongs to. As you might expect, Beliebers did not take kindly to Padalecki’s Tweet. Trace Adkins Fights Trace Adkins Impersonator, Checks Into Rehab for Alcohol Abuse

Trace Adkins has checked into a facility for alcohol abuse. The country singer, who had been sober for a dozen years, reportedly fell off the wagon this week while headlining a cruise to Jamaica. According to TMZ, the artist actually got into a physical altercation during that trip… with a Trace Adkins impersonator who was doing karaoke, no less. “Trace has entered a treatment facility after a setback in his battle with alcoholism,” the star’s rep says in a statement. “As he faces these issues head-on, we ask that his family’s privacy will be respected.” We wish Adkins the best of luck in dealing with his demons.

Kaitlyn Jackson Blows Away American Idol Judges with Original, Personal Song

Kaitlyn Jackson got American Idol Season 13 off to a very strong start this week. The 15-year old New Jersey native sang an original song she wrote in honor of her grandfather, who suffered a heart attack while watching the aspiring singer perform at a recent county fair. Jackson’s grandfather survived that incident, but passed away before Kaitlyn could blow away Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban with “Another Angel.” “I can start the voting process by saying 100 percent absolutely,” Connick said in response, to which both other panelists agreed. Jessica Simpson Shares "Family Moment" with Sister, Evan Ross

Welcome to the family, Evan Ross. Following her sister’s announcement this week that she’s engaged to Diana Ross’ son, Jessica Simpson posted a sweet photo to Instagram today. It included herself in an Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross sandwich, along with the simple caption “Family Moment.” “Jessica loves Evan and approves,” an insider tell Us Weekly of the singer/designer’s thoughts on her sibling’s relationship. Ashlee confirmed on Monday that she and Ross are set to marry, writing on Twitter: “My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!!” Jessica herself, of course, is also scheduled to exchanged vows in the near future. Sources say she and Eric Johnson will walk down the aisle at some point in 2014. And she also posted the following adorable shot of herself and daughter Maxwell online:     “Jessica loves Evan and approves,” an insider tell Us Weekly of the singer/designer’s thoughts on her sibling’s engagement.

American Idol Season Premiere: Harry Connick Jr. FTW!

American Idol is a singing show that comes down to its contestants. That’s what we’re told year after year by producers, but we came away from last night’s Season 13 premiere with one thoughts: HARRY CONNICK JR. IS THE MAN! The new judge was harsh and honest when he needed to be. But also a total jokester throughout, most notable when he cradled Munfarid Zaidi in his arms (below) during the hopeful’s audition. Munfarid Zaidi American Idol Audition Ah yes, there were plenty of auditions. Some boring, others terrible yet entertaining. But who stood out among the opening crop of contestants over two hours? Here’s a rundown of our favorite five, in no particular order. Could the next American Idol be among them?!? Muhfarid Zandi – Forget that he performed in Harry’s arms for a minute and focus on his voice. Pretty darn good, right? Kaitlyn Jackson – Sang an original song titled “Another Angel,” which was based on a personal, up-close brush with death. “She’s smart!” said Harry. “It’ll be fun watching her week to week.” Agreed. Jillian Jensen – Appeared on Season 2 of The X Factor. Displayed terrific vocal control here, clearly having gained confidence from her previous reality show appearance. Sam Woolf – The 17-year old lives with his grandparents and sang “Lego House.” And we all know how much Idol viewers love white guys with guitars… Malcolm Allen – What a great cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition,” not an easy track to sing. He even tossed some air guitar. A great job all around. What did you think of the season 13 opener? Who was your favorite contestant?
