Taylor Swift has released a new ad for her upcoming fragrance, which will be titled “Taylor by Taylor Swift” and which will be the third perfume of this star’s young career. The first two – Taylor Swift Enchanted Perfume and Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Perfume – have both been best-sellers, with the artist even winning Celebrity Fragrance of the Year at the Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City last month. Yes, that really is such a thing. In the new spot, Swift kicks things off with a sparkler before jumping into a series of fun activities with her friends, from convertible riding to chalkboard writing. Watch now: Taylor Swift Fragrance Ad Taylor by Taylor Swift will feature a combination of peonies, hydrangeas and vanilla orchids; there will also be fruity notes of lychee and tangerine. The singer has said this fragrance is more about “my own personality” than the previous two. Whatever the heck that means.

Malia Brooks – a 32-year old teacher at Garden Grove Elementary School in Simi Valley, California – was arrested this week on charges that she conducted multiple sex act with a minor. The identity of the victim is being withheld, but he is reportedly a sixth grader under the age of 14. Brooks, meanwhile, is divorced with two children and her defense attorney has already claimed she suffers from some kind of mental illness. According to KTLA, authorities were notified of Brooks’ alleged conduct by the Simi Valley Unified School District in February. Brooks was placed on administrative leave at that time and police have been conducting and investigation ever since. She resigned from her teaching post a few days prior to her June 10 arrest and school district officials are cooperating with Simi Police in the case.

Who better to produce an Elton John biopic than…Elton John? John’s company Rocket Pictures is currently working on a movie about the artist’s life called Rocketman . But here’s the best part: Tom Hardy is the frontrunner to star. Who doesn’t want to hear Hardy with a Bane breather on, mumbling his way through Pinball Wizard ? FilmDistrict definitely does. The distribution company is near a $10 million dollar deal for the U.S. rights to Rocketman . The film will reportedly start with a young age-five Elton as a musical prodigy. According to producers, it will be a unique biopic that is heavily visual and non-linear. Lee Hall will provide the script, with Michael Gracey directing. The first poster for the second installment, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug has dropped. Take a look: The poster previews the dark forest — Mirkwood — that Bilbo and the Dwarves must traverse as they continue their journey. The film stars Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Evangeline Lilly , Benedict Cumberbatch, Luke Evans, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Richard Armitage, Cate Blanchett, Elijah Wood, Lee Pace, Aidan Turner, Billy Connolly, and Andy Serkis. Beware, people of Earth: This will soon be Kanye West’s universe – and we’ll be lucky just to live in it. The rapper has a new album coming out on June 18 and, in case you have not yet heard, he and Kim Kardashian will welcome a child into the world some short time after that. And yesterday the artist got the Summer of Kanye off to a rousing start by introducing a couple new tracks at The Governors Ball in New York City.
