After witnessing the success of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Watch The Throne” tour, Chris Rock has been inspired! In a recent interview, Chris Rock announced that he’d like to put together a tour of his own…with DAVE CHAPPELLE! (Wouldn’t that be NUTS?) Everyone would agree that politics is the HOT TOPIC this year. President Obama is working his re-election campaign and there are 4 potential Republican nominees battling it out for their party’s nomination. No matter WHO you vote for, it is important that you VOTE. Often times, I hear of people who go to the poles, only to get turned away because they were at the wrong precinct or not registered like they thought they were. Well, here’s a GREAT way to check! If you registered in the State of Georgia, be sure to check out your Voter Information/Status on the Georgia Secretary of State’s “MVP” Site to ensure everything is accurate! Take action EARLY so they’ll be no confusion on election day! Also, be sure to spread the word!

John Legend is back. We haven’t heard him on the radio since 2008′s “Green Light” but we have a feeling his latest track will get tons of airplay. On “Tonight” from the “Think Like A Man” soundtrack, his trademark raspy vocals lilt over a slowed-down electro jam with just enough knock-and-hiss that we can see it being played as the final song in a club before the lights turn on. John gets cocky on the chorus – “Baby, tonight’s the night I let you know / Baby, tonight’s the night we lose control / Baby, tonight you need that, tonight believe that / Tonight, I’ll be the best you ever had / I don’t wanna brag, but I’ll be / The best you ever had” – while Ludacris, less subtle with his words, turns the sexy up. Hip-hop artists have had a long fascination with guns, in particular the Glock, but where did this fascination come from? In his new book Glock: The Rise of America’s Gun , author Paul M. Barrett not only delves into hip-hop’s embrace of the Glock, he also details how the Glock became America’s gun of choice for criminals and law officers alike. Created in 1982 by an Austrian man named Gaston Glock, Barrett traces how the gun gained fame by appearing in the hands of police officers in Law and Order and other police shows. It was also used by Bruce Willis in the movie Die Hard 2 . Atlanta’s infamous, now shuttered strip club, the Gold Club, also played a large role in marketing the Glock. In terms of rappers, Barrett said the Glock was adopted early on by some of hip-hop’s biggest names like Tupac and Dr. Dre . Tupac was eventually killed with a 40 caliber Glock.
