We’re not sure if this is awesome, gross or just plain weird, but Dennis Rodman is going to be holding tryouts for a topless women’s basketball team in New York City. The Basketball Hall of Famer will be trying out and coaching a team fielding exotic dancers from Headquarters Gentleman Club, in hopes of playing a HOT charity game against what appears to be another topless women’s basketball club. This is very random and actually happening . The NBA bad boy dreamed up the team after hearing that rival strip joint Rick’s Cabaret launched a league with former Atlanta Hawks standout Spud Webb, who runs the Texas Legends, an NBA Development League team. Rodman is challenging Rick’s Cabaret’s topless team to a charity game. “I don’t know too many men that don’t like a good-looking woman running up and down around the basketball court,” Rodman said. Really? Are men SO desperate to see boobs that they’ll pay to watch (presumably bad) basketball game to do so? Just peep these Lindsay Lohan pictures instead. Geez. And what is Rodman doing? What the hell?? Atlanta Hawks reserve forward Josh Powell was arrested before Saturday night’s game at Philips Arena after police say he repeatedly refused to move his car that was blocking an ambulance. The Riverdale High School graduate was charged with failure to obey an authorized officer directing traffic, failure to yield to emergency equipment and obstruction, Atlanta Police spokesman Curtis Davenport told the AJC. According to police, Powell was attempting to turn onto Park Avenue West from Marietta Street late Saturday afternoon but was unable to do so because of heavy traffic caused by this weekend’s SEC basketball tournament. Powell’s car was blocking the clogged intersection, making it impossible for the ambulance to proceed, Davenport said. “The officer approached Mr. Powell’s vehicle and told him numerous times to go straight through the intersection … [he] refused and was placed under arrest,” Davenport said. Powell, 28, was not in uniform as the Hawks took the court early Saturday evening against the Portland Trail Blazers . The seven-year NBA veteran signed with Atlanta last summer after winning two championship rings as a back-up forward/center for the Los Angeles Lakers. Hawks spokesman Arthur Triche said the organization was made aware charges had been filed against Powell but declined additional comment. Wow. SMH. Was it really even that serious??? Source

Khaled couldn’t contain his excitement afterward, yelling, “We made it, ma.” “We all out here for Infamous,” Khaled said when the radio show was over. “He’s official We the Best. He’s been We the Best.” Khaled recently inked his friend Infamous to a record deal via his We the Best label. Khaled, Cam’ron, Vado, Ross, Fat Joe, Chaka Zulu, Donnis, Pill, Big Boi, Raekwon and members of the Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic all came down to ATL’s club Compound to support the fifth anniversary of Infamous’ radio show. “We here to support my man Infamous,” Cam said before the party. “He shows us much love, so we here to support him. We’re going to Compound and do a whole ‘nother movie tonight, but Infamous, we appreciate all the love from my brother down here. He’s Atlanta. Say no more.” “Its very monumental, and its very big,” Infamous said about his new deal. “I represent We the Best, as Khaled said. We making that We the Best move. I’m on Khaled’s label, and this is a celebration. I been on the radio, five years strong. I been in the main clubs, five years strong in Atlanta. I’m here to celebrate. I got some surprises that’s crazy.” Inf said his album probably won’t come out until the top of next year, but he fully expects to have many high-powered friends on the LP, as well as a slew of up-and-coming talent.
