Acording to TMZ : Kim Kardashian is APOLOGIZING for “offending” some of her followers by tweeting about the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. Kim says she wants “own up” for publishing two tweets — the first read, “Praying for everyone in Israel.” A short time later, she added, “Praying for everyone in Palestine and across the world!” Kim later deleted both the tweets — and issued the following explanation: “I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because I realized that some people were offended and hurt by what I said, and for that I apologize.” The statement continues, “I should have pointed out my intentions behind these tweets when I posted them. The fact is that regardless of religion and political beliefs, there are countless innocent people involved who didnt choose this, and I pray for all of them and also for a resolution. Cornel West Calls Obama “Republican In Blackface” Cornel West has made it clear that he feels that President Obama should be more proactive in tackling issues like poverty and the prison-industrial complex. Some African Americans see the professor’s views as divisive, while others say he’s speaking truth to power. Recently in an interview with Democracy Now, West and Tavis Smiley were asked about the president’s priorities, and while Smiley said Americans must encourage the POTUS to be the best he can be, West was much more critical… Via The Root : “I think that it’s morally obscene and spiritually profane to spend $6 billion on an election, $2 billion on a presidential election, and not have any serious discussion—poverty, trade unions being pushed against the wall dealing with stagnating and declining wages when profits are still up and the 1 percent are doing very well, no talk about drones dropping bombs on innocent people. So we end up with such a narrow, truncated political discourse, as the major problems—ecological catastrophe, climate change, global warming. So it’s very sad. I mean, I’m glad there was not a right-wing takeover, but we end up with a Republican, a Rockefeller Republican in blackface, with Barack Obama , so that our struggle with regard to poverty intensifies” … The language that Cornel uses about the President of the United States is inappropriate, disrespectful and not specific with words that will give volunteerism to the needs of the people in this country, and just completely outrageous with poor communication through name-calling. Power of that P… Paula Broadwell Is David Petraeus’ Mistress CIA Director David Petraeus’ steamy extramarital affair led to his shocking resignation. The four star general-turned spy chief, 60, had an illicit relationship with the married Paula Broadwell during which he sent her a barrage of explicit emails including explicit ones about having “sex under the desk.” According to RadarOnline reports: Broadwell served for more than a decade in the U.S. Army, earning the rank of Major. Department of Defense and CIA jobs followed. She then received her Masters degree at Harvard, and began competing in Ironman triathlons She became a researcher at Harvard and first met Petraeus six years ago when she was a researcher at Harvard pursuing her PhD, and he came to speak at the university. With her radiologist husband, Scott, she has two young sons, Lucien and Landon. “As a working mother of two, I realize it is more difficult to compete in certain areas. I think it is important for working moms to recognize that family is the most important,” she said earlier this year. Broadwell become involved with Petraeus when she took on the project of researching him. When he went to Afghanistan as head of the coalition’s efforts she was embedded with him for a year, between July 2010 and 2011. She reportedly broke off the affair after he became CIA chief on September 5, 2011. Her biography, All In: The Education of General David Petraeus, was published in February. Their romance was uncovered by accident six months ago when the FBI began an investigation into whether a computer used by Petraeus had been compromised. After stepping down from his post on Friday, Petraeus released a statement in which he apologized for his actions. “Why you hatin’ on me ho?!” Cee-Lo Had Long Relationship With Sex Abuse Accuser According to TMZ reports : The woman accusing Cee Lo Green of drugging and sexually assaulting her was not on a first date with the singer — not by a long shot — they had a long history together … TMZ has learned. TMZ broke the story … the woman told cops Cee Lo took her to a downtown L.A. restaurant in July, where she claims he slipped a drug in her drink. She says the next thing she knew she was laying nekkid in a bed with him in a room. Cops are investigating the allegation and we’re told the case will be referred to the L.A. County DA. Sources connected with the case tell us … the woman and Cee Lo met at the Super Bowl in February, 2011. They hung out over the weekend. She went back to Houston, where she lives, and Cee Lo returned to L.A., but they stayed in touch and dated off and on for the next year-and-a-half. In addition to seeing each other (he flew her out to L.A. from time to time), they frequently texted and spoke on the phone. Sources tells TMZ … the woman sometimes asked Cee Lo to buy her expensive things and even asked his friend how she could get him to buy her expensive things. Sources connected with Cee Lo tell us … on the day in question, he had flown her out to L.A. They went to the restaurant and afterward both took Ecstasy and stayed up all night. Reality check at its finest… Cynthia Bailey Responds To Kenya Moore Real Housewives of Atlanta reality slore Kenya Moore recently blogged about Cynthia Bailey aT her modeling agency after both judged a JET modeling event where endless shade was thrown. Well, looks like Cynthia Bailey don’t play that mess… Via Bravo : I don’t really know Kenya, but we do have a few friends in common. However, that does not make us friends. A mutual friend connected us, and when we spoke on the phone, Kenya could have not been more kind and gracious. Even though I had heard that she was as crazy as a road lizard, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. I pride myself on being the kind of woman that embraces other women and will give anybody a chance. In conversation, I mentioned to her that I had a JET casting coming up, and since she didn’t seem to busy doing anything else, I invited her to come and be a judge. She immediately jumped at the opportunity and could not thank me enough for the invite. Although we spoke on the phone, the JET casting was my first encounter with Kenya face to face. So let me refresh everybody’s memory of some of the things Miss USA had to say: Kenya : “I’m not trying to be the mean girl, but why are you here?” Cynthia : If you are not trying to be the mean girl, then don’t be. Just shut up and judge. That’s the only reason I invited you in the first place. To answer the second part of the question, the girl was at the OPEN CALL because it was exactly that, an OPEN CALL.
