Jerry Seinfeld Calls Lady Gaga A ‘Jerk’ After Mets Game Behavior

Gaga took refuge from paparazzi in Seinfeld’s private box at Citi Field. By Mawuse Ziegbe Jerry Seinfeld Photo: Getty Images Jerry Seinfeld is calling out Lady Gaga for her crude conduct at a New York Mets game after the diva took refuge from paparazzi in his private box at Citi Field. Gaga stirred up headlines when she appeared at the June 10 baseball game in a befuddling outfit (a white coat draped over a black bikini) and held court from her front-row seat. When fans and photogs noticed her presence, they began snapping shots of the pop star. Gaga was not in a pic-taking mood, however, and started giving the flashbulbs the finger and moved to a private box to escape the attention. Turns out, the box belongs to Seinfeld. “You give people the finger and you get upgraded? Is that the world we’re living in now?” Seinfeld sounded off in an interview with WFAN radio, the New York Post reports. “This woman is a jerk. I hate her. I can’t believe they put her in my box, which I paid for.” Seinfeld also added that he didn’t know that the pop star usurped his box until he showed up later on for a night game. “I don’t know what these young people think or how they promote their careers,” said Seinfeld, slamming the diva’s rowdy antics. “I’m not one of these all-publicity-is-good people. People talk about ‘You need exposure’ — you could die of exposure.” While she hasn’t responded to Seinfeld’s scolding just yet, Gaga did take to her Twitter page a day after the public got wind of her rambunctious behavior. “A middle finger is more New York than a corporate ambush. I bleed for my hometown, and I’d die for my fans.” What do you think of Seinfeld’s harsh words toward Gaga? Let us know in the comments. Related Artists Jerry Seinfeld Lady Gaga

Kristin Cavallari’s Chilly Silver Boobs

It seems like a lot of hotties were at the Much Music Video Awards , here’s Kristin Cavallari on the red carpet looking a little chilly in her hot silver dress. I love cold nipples. I’m sure Kristin knows what I’m talking about. If you think I’m being an asshole or you don’t believe me check out

Ashley Greene Is An Absolute Stunner

I’m kinda falling in love with Ashley Greene , she’s really a gorgeous woman and I hope she’s starting to feel the same way about me. Who am I kidding, she probably doesn’t even know I exist, maybe I’ll have her friend slip her a note in gym class. Anyhow, here she is at the Much Music Video Awards last night in her sexy short dress teasing me with her long legs. I hope all this attention I’m giving Ashley is making Blake Lively jealous, I haven’t seen her in a while so maybe this will get her back out there. I have room in my heart for the two of them so I’m sure we can work something out. Call me.

Bachmann Responds to ‘F— Michele Bachmann’ Concert Fliers: ‘We Don’t See an Outrage Coming from the Media’

It is way beyond comprehension – the dislike, hatred for Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., a relative backbencher in terms of congressional clout , but a strong outspoken conservative leader. Fliers ( posted below fold ) have been surfacing around Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn. advertising a “F— Michele Bachmann 2010” tape party featuring the hip-hop artist G-Biz . And on Sean Hannity’s June 17 radio program, the Minnesota congresswoman responded to it and likened it to other shots taken at her. “It was just brought to my attention yesterday,” she said. “This is part of a pattern. I know you reported on this before – the Playboy article. They have highlighted various conservative women and talked about very lewd, derogatory, hateful violent things that they wanted to do toward those women. I was one of those women and this is a concert series, as you said, where they’re using degrading terminology. Also in Minneapolis, there’s a comic book series that was written showing me in a similar light.” Flier Posted Below Fold

Katy Perry’s ‘California Gurls’: The Power Of Persistence (And Bikinis)

Even the most jaded music fan can’t resist the sunshiny charms of Perry’s new single, in Bigger Than the Sound. By James Montgomery Katy Perry in her music video for “California Gurls” Photo: Capitol Records I am not exactly a California person. I am so pale, I am darn near translucent. I think Pink’s is overrated. And I don’t like shopping at Vons . I am proudly, almost stubbornly New York: black clothes, black coffee, black horn-rimmed glasses, subterranean in nearly every conceivable way. And yet, I find myself positively enamored with Katy Perry’s sunny, sex-tastic “California Gurls” — like, singing “bikinis on top!” to myself on the subway — for reasons I cannot even begin to comprehend. I suspect it has something to do with persistence, because of all the songs released in recent months, “Gurls” is certainly the most tireless. Tenaciously marketed since minute one as the official summer jam of 2010 (or, as Perry put it, “SUMMER STARTS NOW!”) and specifically designed to serve both a key demographic (hot girls) and an entire geographic region (the state of California and its more than 34 million inhabitants), “Gurls” is downright diabolical in its purpose: “Here is a song about beaches and bikinis,” it says. “You will listen to it 100,000 times because you like both of those things. Or you are from California.” It also can’t hurt that the song was crafted by Dr. Luke, the mastermind behind other pop anthems like Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok” and Perry’s own “I Kissed a Girl.” Make no mistake about it, this is precision-guided pop. And just to keep things on point, Perry has tirelessly promoted it while wearing an electric-blue wig and bedazzled bikini top. In recent weeks, Capitol Records has started throwing beach-themed listening parties to hype the single and the accompanying album, Teenage Dream. The “California Gurls” video — which premiered Tuesday — mixes things up a bit by not including a single grain of sand (I tend to think Snoop is buried in powdered sugar at the end of the clip), but boy, does it have a lot of bikinis, and I’ll be damned if it isn’t the most gleefully lightweight thing in recent memory. At this point, Perry and her team at Capitol are so determined, obstinate and on message that they’re practically the Bush White House of popular music. No one strays. Nothing is left to chance. It truly is something to behold. And, really, it appears to be working. “California Gurls” is currently the #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 , making it all the way to the top in just four short weeks. It’s a radio staple. The video is already much discussed. And they’ve even managed to win me over, which is a feat in and of itself. Because, while it’s certainly fun, breezy and — yes, I’ll admit it — a bit catchy, “Gurls” isn’t even Katy Perry’s best single (I’ll vote for “Hot N Cold”). It’s just the most dogged. Expertly planned, precisely marketed and brilliantly deployed, its success is a testament to the power of persistence, to the point where it’s even got me thinking about moving out West. What can I say? Even I’m not immune to its charms; it just took several thousand listens to break me. And, yes, I suppose that’s a good thing. After all, even the most curdled and curmudgeonly of New Yorkers needs to have their popsicle melted every once in a while. Questions? Concerns? Hit me up at BTTS@MTVStaff.com . Tupac Shakur ‘Had A Deadline,’ Naughty By Nature’s Treach Says

‘Pac didn’t see himself ‘growing old,’ his friend and fellow MC tells MTV News on what would have been Shakur’s 39th birthday. By Mawuse Ziegbe, with reporting by Sway Calloway Naughty by Nature’s Treach Photo: MTV News Tupac Shakur’s legacy still looms large in music more than 13 years after his untimely death. You can suss out ‘Pac’s swagger in everyone from DMX to Ja Rule; Kanye West continues Shakur’s tradition of being outspoken; and rappers still turn to his back catalog for insightful verses to graft into hip-hop hits. Part of the reason Shakur’s presence is still felt is because the controversial icon left behind a hefty amount of music, including a formidable collection of unreleased recordings. ‘Pac might have been on top of the music world when he died, but his close friend and Naughty by Nature MC Treach said Shakur’s work ethic was fueled by his belief that his demise was imminent. “We spoke many a time, and he was like, ‘I don’t see myself growing old,’ ” Treach told MTV News’ Sway on Tuesday, the day before what would have been Shakur’s 39th birthday. Treach, who came up with ‘Pac when the two were roadies for Queen Latifah and Digital Underground, respectively, said that despite his homie’s affable manner and upbeat energy, ‘Pac worked as if he had no time to waste. “You gotta listen to songs like ‘If I Die 2Nite’ and ‘I Wonder if Heaven Got a Ghetto.’ When he was in that mode, in that zone, you gotta be like, ‘What’s going on? You a’ight?’ ” ‘Pac couldn’t sit down for five minutes,” Treach continued. “He was always going, ‘Yeah, everything good, good, good.’ When you listen to him and you see his demeanor, he was more or less, like, on watch. He had a deadline. He was working at a pace, like, ‘Where you going? You going on vacation? You going to jail? You doing sh– like you tryna finish everything right now and cover stuff.’ You couldn’t find him half the time; he was gone. He had a plan.” Treach believes ‘Pac’s plan extended beyond just making thought-provoking music; the Jersey rapper said Shakur wanted to realize tangible change among his fans who were living the thug life. “Ultimately, he wanted to get the thugs all behind him — his thug nation, his thug life — and take them to the next level … unified, building up the community, reinvesting in the community, in the people.” Treach said he wanted to use music to get the attention of the streets but then eventually make life easier on the streets. “[He wanted to bring] them in thinking it’s a gangsta party, but it’s like … it’s a militant, protect-our-own party. He was truly like a baby Panther. He was like, ‘Yo, we gotta do something to reinforce that we gonna protect ourselves.’ ” Even though ‘Pac built his career on a brash, thug persona, Treach said there was way more to the star than his hard-core adherence to the ‘hood. ” ‘Pac was a clown. Everybody think he just like gangsta, thug-life ‘Pac. He’ll have a whole party just around him crackin’ up,” Treach said. “We almost got threw out a couple hotels. I’m talking full-floor water fights.” Treach said he found it hilarious to see the former Digital Underground associate “runnin’ around with a Humpty nose.” “He was an actor, he was a musician … anything you could put, if he wanted to do it, he could do that. But he was a fool too,” Treach said. “He did it well being a fool too. You don’t want to be around nobody that’s mean muggin’ all day and got an attitude and hatin’. ‘Pac wasn’t nothing like that. ‘Pac would have you just wanting to be around because you know you gonna have a ball around him and split some seams just having a good time.” His fiery flow, revolutionary rhetoric and undeniable artistry are some of the things that have endeared ‘Pac to millions of fans around the world. Yet Treach adds that his appeal as a person was very basic: “He had a glow to him. He had something you wanted to be around.” Share your memories of Tupac in the comments.

Perez Hilton to Face Child Porn Charges?

Perez Hilton – he of Carrie Prejean bashing fame – may be staring in the face of child porn charges in the near future.  You may recall that Hilton served as judge in the 2009 Miss America competition, and asked Prejean her view of same-sex marriage. When Prejean offered an honest answer voicing her belief that marriage should be between a man and a woman, Hilton expressed his displeasure by taking to the internet and bashing Prejean as a ‘dumb b****’.  Seems Perez has graduated from name-calling tantrums, and an accomplished career as a verminous outer of gay celebrities, and turned his attention to a developing career in child porn . Ben Shapiro over at Big Hollywood reports: “He (Hilton) linked via his Twitter account to a picture of rising Madonna wannabe Miley Cyrus climbing out of a car in a short skirt and no underwear.  In the picture, which has been removed, Cyrus’ genitals are allegedly clearly visible.” Of course, now that the heat is on, Perez has taken to back-pedaling , claiming the photo was a fake.  In a statement on his blog, Hilton said, “”Do you think I’m stupid enough to post a photo of Miley if she’s not wearing any underwear down there?” That’s what we in the business call a rhetorical question.  Britney Spears’ up skirt photos think he’s crossed the line. Hilton has made a career out of vulgar displays of stupidity, including well, Salon explains it a little better. The ‘fake’ claim comes only after Hilton had already commented on the controversy, in which he clearly offers no apology.    According to Entertainment Weekly , Hilton stated: “I think now it’s okay for Miley to be a little sexier.  Because she’s almost 18, you know, so it’s okay for Miley to show her boobs and expand, uh, her horizons.” After developing the ‘fake photo’ defense, Hilton said, “Sure I like to be controversial, but I don’t want to go to jail.” Problem being, he might still be in some hot water even if the image was Photoshopped.  In an interview with Salon , criminal defense attorney Jeffrey Douglas explains: “Under the law, that is still a crime and it is punishable just the same,” says Douglas.  “For instance, if you were to take the face of an 8-year-old and put that picture on the nude body of even an identifiable, fully developed adult porn star, it is child-porn punishable identical to if you took a photo of the actual child.” Douglas continues: “We’re not talking about a misdemeanor,” he said.  “You don’t have to know what the definition of the law is; all you have to do is knowingly distribute the photograph.”  He added that it was “suicidal for him to do this”. Of course the real question is, if Prejean is a ‘dumb bitch’ for what she did, what does knowingly distributing a nude photo of an underage girl make you? – Send comments or tips to rustyweiss@verizon.net . Stewart On Latest BP Developments: "We Are So F–ked" (VIDEO)

Funny, but sad! added by: kennymotown

Secret ingredients of Corexit now revealed by feds after their dumping on the Gulf

After weeks of silence on the issue, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finally decided to go public with the list of ingredients used to manufacture Corexit, the chemical dispersant used by BP in the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster. There are two things about this announcement that deserve our attention: First, the ingredients that have been disclosed are extremely toxic, and second, why did the EPA protect the oil industry's “trade secrets” for so long by refusing to disclose these ingredients until now? As reported in the New York Times, Brian Turnbaugh, a policy analyst at OMB Watch said, “EPA had the authority to act all along; its decision to now disclose the ingredients demonstrates this. Yet it took a public outcry and weeks of complaints for the agency to act and place the public's interest ahead of corporate interests.” On the toxicity question, you could hardly find a more dangerous combination of poisons to dump into the Gulf of Mexico than what has been revealed in Corexit. The Corexit 9527 product has been designated a “chronic and acute health hazard” by the EPA. It is made with 2-butoxyethanol, a highly toxic chemical that has long been linked to the health problems of cleanup crews who worked on the Exxon Valdez spill. A newer Corexit recipe dubbed the “9500 formula” contains dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate, a detergent chemical that's also found in laxatives. What do you suppose happens to the marine ecosystem when fish and sea turtles ingest this chemical through their gills and skin? And just as importantly, what do you think happens to the human beings who are working around this chemical, breathing in its fumes and touching it with their skin? The answers are currently unknown, which is exactly why it is so inexcusable that Nalco and the oil industry giants would for so long refuse to disclose the chemical ingredients they're dumping into the Gulf of Mexico in huge quantities (over a million gallons dumped into the ocean to date). But it gets even more interesting when you look at just how widespread this “chemical secrecy” is across Big Business in the USA… and how the U.S. government more often than not conspires with industry to keep these chemicals a secret. It's time to end chemical trade secrets Armed with the accomplices in the FDA, EPA, FTC and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, powerful corporations have been keeping secrets from us all. It's not just the toxic chemicals in Corexit, either: Large manufacturers of consumers products — such as Unilever, Proctor & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson — routinely use toxic chemical ingredients in their products — ingredients which are usually kept secret from the public. Similarly, virtually every perfume, cologne and fragrance product on the market is made with cancer-causing chemicals that their manufacturers refuse to disclose, claiming their formulas are “trade secrets.” Throughout Big Business in America, the toxic chemicals used in everyday products such as household cleaners, cosmetics and yard care remain a dangerous secret, and the U.S. government actually colludes with industry to keep these chemical ingredients a secret by, for example, refusing to require full disclosure of ingredients for personal care products. The FDA offers us virtually no enforcement in this area, depending almost entirely on companies to declare their own chemicals are safe rather than requiring actual safety testing to be conducted. This is why the following statement is frightening yet true: What BP is doing to the Gulf of Mexico, companies like Proctor & Gamble are doing to the entire population. We are all being mass poisoned by the toxic chemicals in personal care products, foods, medicines, fragrance products and other concoctions created by powerful corporations that use toxic chemicals throughout their product lines… but who refuse to disclose those ingredients in the public. continued added by: JanforGore
