Brooke Wehr: Jeremy Calvert’s Girlfriend Will NOT Appear on Teen Mom

Finally, some good news for Leah Messer. It seems Jeremy Calvert’s new girlfriend, Brooke Wehr , will not be appearing in the new season of Teen Mom, even though Calvert will continue to be a featured cast member. “Brooke won’t be appearing on the show, not even a quick cameo,” a source close to Calvert, 27, tells Radar. “He learned his lesson from his crazy marriage to Leah, and doesn’t want all the attention to ruin the relationship.” Producers say Calvert and Leah’s first husband Corey Simms will continue to make appearances, and they’ve teased her upcoming storyline as one of the show’s most dramatic to date. We’ve already seen a clip in which Leah’s drug abuse is exposed in shocking fashion, and the season will reportedly focus on the 23-year-old single mom’s reluctant decision to check into rehab. With all the drama surrounding Leah at the moment, we can’t imagine how producers would’ve even made time for a storyline about Calvert’s new romance. The most surprising and perhaps even noteworthy part of the Duggars' interview with Fox News Wednesday night came at the tail end: A sneak preview of Jill and Jessa Duggar speaking with Megyn Kelly about how Josh Duggar molested them when they were younger. For a brief but powerful moment, Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard (both Duggar girls married in 2014) spoke out last night about Josh. They were two of the five underage girls molested by the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's 19 Kids & Counting as a teenager. The sisters told Kelly that they were overwhelmed when they learned that their story – long kept confidential by police had gone viral. “We are victims, they can't do this to us,” Jill, 24, said through tears of the attention focused on her and her family amid the scandal. Jessa, 22, added that “the system that was set up to protect kids” failed to do so, and they are paying a far, far greater price now. “Both those who make stupid mistakes or have problems like this and the ones that are affected by those choices. It's greatly failed.” Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar also told Fox News that the police were bribed to leak the scandal in a plot to expose and ruin the family. Clearly, it was their strategy going into the interview to reframe the discussion, but it is very much unclear how and why the file leaked. It has since been destroyed, but to Jessa and Jill, that's little consolation now, as they've had to “relive the horror” like never before. While Jessa admitted that what their brother did was “very wrong,” she decried people calling Josh a child molester, pedophile or rapist. “I'm like, that is so overboard and a lie really,” she said, emotionally. “I mean, people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this.” “Because,” she says, “I was one of the victims.”

Bilingual 4th Grade Teacher Arrested For Sexually Molesting Student Some parents learned Wednesday that a D.C. bilingual school teacher was charged for sexual abuse of a child . Via WUSA 9 : Giovanni Pena, 31, of Northwest, D.C.,was charged with second-degree sexual abuse of a child on Monday, Metropolitan Police Department officials said. Pena is a bilingual teacher at Oyster-Adams Bilingual School located in the 2000 block of 19th Street NW. Police say the Youth Investigations Division received information regarding an allegation of sexual abuse involving a child. He has been teaching fourth grade students at the school. According to the school’s website, Pena — who lives about a mile away from the Columbia Heights school — has been at Oyster-Adams since 2008 teaching second and third grades as well. DCPS provided the following statement on Wednesday: “The safety of our students is a top priority. As soon as we became aware of this situation, we acted promptly to remove the teacher from the school and fully cooperate with MPD in this investigation. We are focusing our attention on supporting our students and school community. As this is an active police investigation, any questions should be referred to MPD. “​ Wednesday, a diverse community of parents dropped off children at the school. Many of them heard for the first time about the charges against Pena. Patricia Catalan tells us her son was in Pena’s fourth grade class last year and he was a great teacher. Yasmina Castellanos also said he taught her son and she had nothing but good interactions with him. Pena is being held without bond, and is due back in court on Friday. Anyone who has information regarding similar offenses involving Mr. Pena is asked to call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. Anonymous information can be submitted by calling or texting anytime.
