The fate of the ALDC has been uncertain ever since it was revealed that Abby Lee Miller was in a lot of trouble with the law over Tax fraud. On Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 30 , the mothers made it clear they wanted some answers about the fate of the ALDC, but answers were few and far between. We all know that Abby was seeking extensions in her case, but the mothers took issue with that hitting the news and them still being left in the dark. Oh, and she doesn’t give a crap what happens to the moms. “These mothers have no clue. I was not put on this Earth to be at their beck and call,” Abby says. Gianna was quick to step in while Abby hid away in her office. At least she took a proactive approach to all of it. I mean, if not for her, no one would know what the heck they were doing. The Junior elites were tasked with doing a contemporary piece titled, “Picnic in the Park.” Meanwhile, the Minis were tasked with jazzing it up to “Gossip Girls.” Brynn got word that she was getting a huge solo to perform, but she felt there was a lot of pressure on her to pull it off. The Junior Elites took issue with their piece because it didn’t feel like something you would perform in a competition. Stacey heard that there was a possibility of doing a solo and was unsure what to dress her in, so she visited the Beast of the East in her office and got some harsh words thrown her way. Abby took the solo away from Stacey’s daughter, but Stacey revealed she was leaving the ALDC, throwing the whole performance into question. The next day, Abby decided to actually do some work, but she made it clear she would not be discussing her legal issues. “From now on, there’ll be no discussion about the case or me or my roles or anything. I will have my attorney contact whoever they need to contact,” Abby explains. Abby got a shocking phone call from Debbie, who appeared earlier in the season. Debbie wanted to know what the heck was going on with Abby potentially leaving the team. After all of the drama, Abby took the Elite Team for a picnic in the park, but the mothers got annoyed because it was taking them away from valuable rehearsal time. Either way you look at it, Abby just can’t win. She knows she’s not been the best guide and that’s why she’s trying to change things. Ashlee cut to the chase about the Debbie conversation and asked if Abby would allow Debbie to take over. Abby said this was a possibility if Debbie paid her $1.5 million. That’s a lot of money. Liliana’s solo performance had some issues, but for the most part, it was well-executed. It’s just a shame that with some more practice, it could have been perfect. Brynn’s solo went down a treat with everyone. You could tell she knew what she was doing and that relieved Ashlee. In the group competition, the Minis came in first place and scooped awards. Reality Star Accused Of Assaulting & Stealing From Cab Driver A judge has declared a mistrial in Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’s Teairra Mari’s Uber driver robbery and assault case – but it’s for an unusual reason. The judge last week called a mistrial on the singer’s case after he became ill and could no longer preside over it, a spokeswoman from the LA County District Attorney’s Office told us. The driver said Teairra – who was born Teairra Marie Thomas – went nuts on him during a ride last year, stealing his iPhone charger, pummeling him, and then refusing to get out of the car until the cops showed up. The case was in the midst of trial until the judge got sick, though its not clear what he is suffering from. Now, jury selection will begin again next month, and the case will be reheard in November. She’s facing charges of battery on a transit employee, petty theft and vandalism. If convicted, Teairra faces up to two and a half years in prison. Earlier this year, prosecutors offered her a no-jail plea deal of probation and anger management, but Ray J’s ex chose to take her chances at trial. We’ve reached out to Teairra Mari’s lawyer, Steven Szocs, for comment.
Chris Brown has been released from prison. But his latest legal ordeal is only just beginning. As previously reported, Chris Brown was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon on Tuesday night. He has been charged with a felony. We’ll get to the details of the case against him in a moment, but the most immediate update on this controversial artist is that he’s been released on $250,000 bail. It was posted at 11:19 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Los Angeles Sheriff Department inmate records, with Brown’s attorney Tweeting to fans around 2 a.m. “Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes,” Mark Geragos wrote, adding: “Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy.” We’re not sure if a lawyer should really be hashtagging “TeamBreezy” if he wants to be taken seriously, but then again.. … we’re not sure about a whole lot when it comes to Chris Brown. The 27-year-old artist was taken into custody last night after a nearly 14-hour standoff at his Tarzana, California home. It started after a woman named Baylee Curran claimed she and a friend stopped by Brown’s house just to hang out. In subsequent interviews, Curran says Brown was acting strange all night, culminating in him pulling a gun on her after she took a close look at an expensive piece of jewelry that was being held by a member of Brown’s entourage. Speaking to Extra (below), Curran describes the events as follows: “Chris came in, pulled out his gun and said, ‘I’m getting so sick of you people,’ pointed the gun at me, (and told me) to get the f—- out of the house.” Baylee Curran on Chris Brown: He Knows What He Did! We don’t know at the moment exactly what evidence they found at the scene, but one has to assume they came across at least one gun. Earlier in the night, Brown had entertained such guests as Ray J. An initial report claimed the former Kim Kardashian sex tape partner was actually getting a tattoo inside of Brown’s home before the chaos ensued and he got the heck out of there. According to TMZ, Ray J was actually handcuffed by police and had his BMW confiscated while they tried to figure out what the heck was going on. Jamal Bryant And Baby Mama LaToya Odom In Nasty Child Support Battle “The Preachers” host Jamal Bryant has headed back to family court to accuse his baby mama of harassing him in their legal battle over child support. The pastor pleaded for the judge to shoot down her demand that he hand over vital financial documents and for him to cover her legal bills. A Georgia woman LaToya Odom sued Jamal over paternity of her newborn son and for the reverend to pay monthly child support. The woman explained she gave birth to a son named John Bryant in 2015. She filed the lawsuit seeking primary physical and legal custody of the child. She also wants temporary and permanent child support from ‘The Preachers” host while the case is pending. The docs claim Jamal already took a DNA test showing he is the father. LaToya said the pastor made voluntary child support payments since their son’s birth. But recently, Jamal headed to court to fire back at the lawsuit saying he is the father of the newborn. He claimed that due to her continued harassment he decided to cease all contact with her and stopped sending money until the court decides the best solution. LaToya pointed out that Jamal lives a flashy affluent lifestyle with a million dollar plus net worth with multiple incomes from book sales, television appearances and other venues. She explained she is a single mother who lives frugally and has considerable debt from student loans and pleaded with the judge to order the pastor to pay her attorney bills in the case as well. Then on August 8th, Jamal headed to court blasting his baby mama’s motion to force him to hand over more financial documents than he already did.
Ex-Baylor Football Star Shawn Oakman Indicted For Sexual Assault In Texas Ex-Baylor football star Shawn Oakman was expected to go into the NFL until news of an alleged sexual assault turned the former baller into a potential convict. According to ESPN reports: Former Baylor All-America defensive end Shawn Oakman, the school’s all-time sack leader, was indicted by a grand jury on charges of second-degree felony sexual assault in Waco, Texas, on Wednesday. Police in Waco arrested Oakman in April after a Baylor graduate student accused him of sexually assaulting her at his apartment on April 3. He was freed on $25,000 bond after his arrest. The McLennan County District Attorney’s office presented the case to a grand jury on Wednesday morning. Under Texas law, second-degree felony sexual assault typically carries a sentence of two to 20 years in state prison and a fine up to $10,000. Oakman, who was once considered a potential second- or third-round pick in this year’s NFL draft, went undrafted after his arrest. “I think an indictment is just a prosecutor’s rubber stamp and requires a much lower burden of proof than one required for a conviction, which is beyond a reasonable doubt,” said Michelle Tuegel, Oakman’s attorney. “We still have a lot of investigation and work to do in this case. Shawn maintains that the sex in this case was consensual.” SMH!!!!!!
Track Palin was facing some pretty serious charges. Sarah Palin’s 28-year-old son was arrested in January following an alcohol-induced fight with his girlfriend. The charges , according to Radar Online , were “4th degree assault, interfering with a domestic violence charge, and possession of a weapon while intoxicated.” At a July 11th hearing, the first two charges were dropped, and Palin pled guilty to the last. The hearing was then moved to Anchorage Veterans Court, since Palin served as an army reservist in Iraq in 2008. This particular court is specialized, in that it’s “designed to facilitate the rehabilitation of eligible veterans who are charged with criminal offenses.” The aim is to keep the number of veteran offenders out of jail and get them the help they need to recover. Palin’s next hearing is July 25th, and Anchorage District Attorney Clinton Champion told Radar that the court will let Palin know who sort of therapeutic program he’ll be required to follow. It depends on his needs.” This kind of rehab is put on by Veterans Affairs, who assess the patient to determine what kind of treatment would be most effective. “For some people, it’s addiction assistance,” Clinton said. For some, it’s related to anger management or domestic violence. Most everyone does moral reconation therapy, which is a 12 Step program to deal with thinking errors, specifically.” The details of Palin’s altercation with his girlfriend are upsetting. Police reports state that he “struck her on the left side of her head near her eye with a close fist,” then “kicked [her] on the right knee.” Sarah Palin blamed the arrest on both PTSD and President Obama (a notion that Donald Trump agrees with ). “My son like so many others, they come back a bit different, they come back hardened, they come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airmen and every other member of the military so sacrificially have given to this country,” she said. “And that starts from the top.
