Jay Sean’s Pitbull Collabo The ‘Epitome’ Of Feel-Good Summer Tracks

‘I think sometimes certain voices and certain vibes and certain styles just work together,’ Sean says of ‘I’m All Yours’ collabo. By Jocelyn Vena Jay Sean Photo: MTV News For Jay Sean ‘s lead single, “I’m All Yours,” off his forthcoming album Worth It All, there was only one guy who could capture the track’s bounce and party vibe. That guy is Miami-bred rhymer Pitbull , who brings his signature sense of gruffy swagger to the song. “Well, you know, people who know my music, especially when I first came over to America, one of the first things that people noticed with my songs is I like to do feel-good songs. And when it comes to the singles, that’s what I like to give them. And ‘I’m All Yours’ is really the epitome of all that,” Sean explained to MTV News about the dance track. Full of pounding beats and bleeps, the song is about falling for a girl who makes all the partying and fun even better. “It’s taking the modern movement of dance, which has obviously taken over the whole world, but I’m not putting it in the nightclub environment,” he continued. “So it’s still got that element of romance, which is what I like to bring to music. So it’s high-energy and romantic. And the Pitbull collaboration actually happened in Australia, where we were on tour together, and you know, we’re all fans of each other. We got talking, like, ‘Man, we should do something.’ So we laid it out right there and then.” What emerged from their friendship is a song tailor-made for both Sean and Pit. The track is fun, summery and a definite dance-floor anthem, three qualities these two guys know a lot about given their individual music histories. “I think the thing is, you got someone like Pit and myself, we share similar fanbases, but also, as I said, it’s that high-energy music that really blends well together,” he said. “And I think sometimes certain voices and certain vibes and certain styles just work together on a record, so it was just nice the way it came out.” Related Artists Jay Sean Pitbull

Camille Grammer: Returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

Guess Camille Grammer couldn’t quit the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after all. An E! source says she will, in fact, return to the Bravo hit for its third season. Grammer, who all but officially left her role as a series regular on the program earlier this year, is now heading back to the reality show in some capacity. She will be making cameos throughout next season, reports say, including an appearance at Kyle Richards’ birthday party, which she attended last weekend. Over the coming weeks, Kelsey Grammer’s former wife is expected to continue to shoot even more scenes for next season. So much for Camille being fired. “I didn’t want to expose my personal life so much anymore,” the 43-year-old explained last month regarding her departure from the highly-rated reality series. “I had done that and was over that. I care very much for my children, and that show tends to take me away from them. I really want to focus on them right now.” Well, at least to a point. What do you think of Camille Grammer returning to the show she helped catapult to the top of Bravo’s roster of programming devoted to wealthy snobs? Discuss!

Jennifer Aniston Calls Boyfriend Justin Theroux Her ‘Protector’

‘He’s just a good human being, and so funny,’ actress tells Australia’s Marie Claire about her BF and ‘Wanderlust’ co-star. By Christina Garibaldi Jennifer Aniston Photo: Steve Granitz/ WireImage Looks like Jennifer Aniston is lucky in love again. Since her highly publicized 2005 divorce from one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Brad Pitt , the celebrity gossip magazines have speculated about Aniston’s love life troubles. But after filming the flick “Wanderlust” with co-star Justin Theroux , Aniston and the actor struck up a romance. In the May issue of Australia’s Marie Claire, the 43-year-old actress gushes to the magazine about why her boyfriend of nearly a year is a keeper. “He’s a protector, for sure,” Aniston, who graces the cover, says. “He’s just a good human being, and so funny.” The couple filmed “Wanderlust” last fall in Georgia, and the story line centers around a stressed-out couple who travel to a hippie-ish community and learn the meaning of “free love.” And that laid-back, secluded atmosphere may have helped Theroux and Aniston’s relationship to develop. “All of a sudden, I began decompressing. It’s weird, but it felt like living a normal life; almost like having your anonymity back,” Aniston says about the shooting location. “Nobody bothered us and we were protected as a group. There were no paparazzi and no secret, tricky little cell phone pictures being taken,” she continues. “I realized how paranoid and guarded and not trusting — walled-in — I had become. Not consciously so, but just this armor that I kind of have, protective armor. It’s not for my friends or family, but for being outside in the world, always on guard.” Aniston had to let her guard down for “Wanderlust,” however, especially when filming her much-talked-about topless scene. “There are always nerves when you shoot a scene like that. But the adrenaline takes you through it and then you have the girls come in and cover you up immediately,” Aniston admitted. “I got very comfortable with seeing nude people, pretty much immediately. It was bizarre to know that these were actually nudists — because there’s a nudist colony in Clarkesville — and how comfortable they are being nude.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Wanderlust.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Meet Guy Pearce, Action Hero: The Lockout Star Talks Cameo Roles, Prometheus, and Lawless

He’s played cops, a count, Houdini, a time traveler, a king, and even a drag queen, but in this week’s Lockout , Guy Pearce treads new ground as an all-out action hero — not that he necessarily sees things that way. “People used to say that about L.A. Confidential ,” he recalled to Movieline recently in Los Angeles. “They’d go, ‘Wow, so you’re an action hero!’ I’d be like, action hero? It’s a ‘50s film noir!” Even still, after 20+ years of acting, most recently in a string of acclaimed supporting turns (see: The King’s Speech , The Hurt Locker , Animal Kingdom , Mildred Pierce ), it’s only now that Pearce is laying claim to the title, guns blazing. Lockout , unlike even the grittiest and bloodiest of Pearce’s films to date, falls confidently into a cinematic lineage peppered with some of the greatest wisecracking action antiheroes in movies. Like Snake Plisskin, Pearce’s government agent Snow is forced, against his will, into a dangerous solo mission in the sci-fi-tinged near-future: Save the President’s daughter (Maggie Grace, who appeared in producer/writer Luc Besson’s Taken ) from inmates running loose in a maximum security space prison, or face sentencing for a crime he didn’t commit. In the spirit of Han Solo, he winds up falling for his capable charge, with whom he exchanges no shortage of barbed banter. Pearce chatted with Movieline about the Luc Besson -produced Lockout , how his cameo and supporting turns in films like The Hurt Locker are actually more difficult than starring roles, why he’s embarrassed to be congratulated on the success of the Oscar-winning The King’s Speech , the extent of his work in Ridley Scott ‘s Prometheus , and the “odd” character he created for John Hillcoat’s Lawless (formerly known as The Wettest County ). One of the refreshing surprised about Lockout is how funny it is. Was that humor element always there from the start? I think that’s what [co-directors Stephen St. Leger and James Mather], but particularly Stephen – that’s what he wanted from the outset. He said that particularly to me: ‘I want a character that’s funny, I want a film that looks like an action movie, and feels like an action movie, and a character that looks like an action hero, but ultimately I just want him to not care and be funny.’ And I said okay, sure. Snow seems to be borne of a grand tradition of ‘80s and ‘90s action heroes – the wisecracking tough guy antihero. That’s right, and he was a big fan of those films. I think that’s what I found appealing about it because really, as a piece of entertainment, I personally don’t enjoy watching action movies just for the sake of action movies. I’d rather it be either really clever, or at the least amusing. So it’s kind of an interesting story, obviously, but I think the fact that he is amusing and he is irreverent and he doesn’t really care about the President’s daughter was quite funny in itself. I wouldn’t necessarily suggest it’s comedy – but I don’t know how you would categorize this movie. How do you categorize it, do you suppose? It’s definitely got a sarcastic comedic bent to it – or at least, the character does. Well I’m glad that works, if it works. Because you never know, and I never usually do comedies, so you never quite know how much is too much, you know? A fair amount of the set-up evokes Snake Plisskin and Escape from New York – how much of a conscious influence was that film and that character for you? Not at all. You sometimes want to go back and look at all the films that are like the one that you’re making, but in a way I think it’s better not to. You’ve got to be careful you don’t plagiarize something without realizing you’ve done it. I think sometimes by taking those things on so presently and consciously you can also inadvertently copy them more than you want to as well. I know that when we did Mildred Pierce , for example, Kate [Winslet] I think started watching the old movie and after ten minutes said, “I just don’t want to see any more!” Because it can just get in your way. So really it was just about concentrating on the script and talking with Steven a lot – and I’m sure that he was far more conscious of those films than I was. So if I have plagiarized anything, I can blame him. [Laughs] That works, because then it filters down the creative chain… That’s right, and you’re sort of creating your own version of what it is that they’re writing. How would you describe Snow’s attitude toward women? Things even out later in the film but when we first meet him – and when he first meets Maggie Grace’s character – he’s quite rough and rude. He even punches her in the face! So how does Snow feel about women – and how does this movie feel about women? I think he probably exhibits some misogynistic qualities, and some fairly typically clichéd male qualities – but in order, I think, to be put back in his place by a woman. So for the purpose of the film, yes, I don’t particularly admire him. And there was a moment in the film that I really wanted to stay in; they’re in the middle of this crisis and they’re trying to figure out how he’s going to get on the ship, and he’s trying to chat up some girl who works at the space station. So he clearly is very attracted to women, he just doesn’t hear them. But you want him to be able to sort of wake up a little bit, through the film, which is one of Maggie’s abilities in the film – to kind of go, ‘Oy, dumb guy, wake up!’ Would you consider Snow in Lockout to be your first true blue action hero role? I guess so. People used to say that about L.A. Confidential , though. They’d go, ‘Wow, so you’re an action hero!’ I’d be like, action hero? It’s a ‘50s film noir! Is that action? I don’t understand the delineation of genre. I don’t know when something moves from being a horror movie to being an action movie to… so I do not understand the categorization of movies. I know the extreme versions, obviously, but I don’t know how to categorize this film. I don’t know where you would draw the line. I would call this your most action-oriented film. Sure! You’re probably right. It’s funny though, because in every movie you seem to be running around shooting people, getting into fights. So to me, I’ve done it many times before – Count of Monte Cristo , it’s not really an action movie, it’s an adventure movie – but it also has fighting in it… it’s hard to say. Take me back to the decision to take the role and the appeal of working with Luc Besson, doing this kind of film… I was trying to remember what I’d been doing when I met Luc. I met Luc here [in Los Angeles], so I’d just done Hungry Rabbit Jumps , which is now called Seeking Justice . Whoever came up with that title needs to not continue in their job. I’d just done that in New Orleans and I was here having a break, waiting to go to New York to start on Mildred Pierce, and during that break I met with Luc. Often I’ll take something on as a real change from what I’ve just been doing or what I’m about to do, and I think to go from Mildred Pierce , this beautiful ‘30s period drama/TV miniseries with Todd Haynes and Kate Winslet, to go to a futuristic sci-fi, green-screen action-oriented type of thing seemed like a fun kind of change. In Serbia! In Serbia, that’s right! So I sat down with Luc, and I’d not met Luc before, and he gave me an outline of the story. It sounded appealing, I read the script and found it quite funny, and while I was in New York I met Stephen and James and found their attitude about the whole thing to be exactly like what Luc had talked about. Things just seemed to sort of fit. It’s not usually the kind of thing that I pursue, I suppose – you know, action-oriented kinds of films – but I liked the character and where he sat in the middle of all that, just as a variation from things that I had done. How conscious are you now or were you ever of what each project might mean for your career? Well, even if I am conscious at all you still don’t necessarily know if it’s going to work out that way — you still don’t know if a film is made well or not seen, or seen or not made well. You kind of go, well, I have no say over that anyway. So to me I have to just respond to what my internal interests are, I suppose. Like, I wouldn’t have chosen Memento to gain a whole lot of attention and yet Memento has probably gotten me more attention than any other film I’ve ever done. So you never really know what the outcome’s going to be. So I tend not to think about it too much, to be honest. I’ve had discussions; my agent has said, ‘Well, you might want to do this, this is something that might be kind of big, it’s going to be seen by a lot of people,’ and I kind of don’t really hear it, necessarily. I need to understand the character and understand the director. So I’m aware of that stuff but I just don’t know what to do with it. You’ve become well known in recent years for a number of great supporting turns, so to see you step into the spotlight is a welcome change of late. And look, it might have been from my point of view as well, because I had done a lot of cameos and supporting roles and stuff. So to actually be offered something that is carrying a film… but having said that, it can’t just be anything that’s carrying a film, it would have to work for me. It would have to feel real or have some credibility to it, etc. So it’s not just that but I think I probably was interested in doing something that carried the story through. Because it’s kind of frustrating doing cameos and supporting roles, because you never really bond with everybody. And a big part of what you feel of making a movie is the time that you have making the movie. There is the movie itself, but then there is the time you have making the movie, and to just sort of waltz into something and do two weeks and kind of not really learn anybody’s names and then leave – then a year later you go and do the promotion for the movie and you don’t really feel like you were connected to that movie… I mean, people come up to me and go, ‘Oh my God, The Hurt Locker ! Congratulations, incredible! The Hurt Locker , you, fantastic, The Hurt Locker !’ I’m like, I was there for like three days. It’s sort of embarrassing to accept the congratulations. I’m like, Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie and Brian Geraghty were slogging their guts out for months on end – you shouldn’t even be talking to me! So you get something great out of really living the experience with people when you make a film. When you just pop in and out… I had a couple of years there where I just did cameos and supporting roles, and at the end of the year I went, well, I don’t really feel like I did anything this year. You sort of feel like you maybe did a commercial or did an appearance on a talk show, you just did these little one-off quick things that haven’t really absorbed. So it’s fantastic – it’s fantastic – when you get in the trenches with people for three or four months, personally. It’s hard work as well, but then it’s a memorable experience. And that says a lot, I think , about my need to bond with people and my nostalgia. And it also takes me a while to formulate a character, and most of the time you don’t get rehearsals on film so you need a couple of weeks to really get up and running and really feel like you know who this character is. And if you only have two weeks on a movie, you’re sitting on the plane home to Australia going, ‘Still not quite sure that I got King Edward…’

One Directioner Niall Horan’s Half-Eaten Toast Sells For $100K

From Bieber’s lovely locks to ScarJo’s used tissue, MTV News looks back at the most outrageous celebrity auctions so far. By John Mitchell One Direction’s Niall Horan Photo: Getty Images Wondering just how big One Direction madness has gotten? Well, a half-eaten piece of toast left by the British boy band’s Niall Horan on an Australian talk show has attracted almost $100,000 in online bids. That’s Justin Bieber big, y’all! Digital Spy reports the toast was put up for auction on eBay by the Australian broadcaster behind the morning program “Sunrise.” The One Direction guys visited the show yesterday and were asked to try some traditional Down Under cuisine, including the country’s famous Vegemite spread. Horan was not a big fan and did not finish his toast, so the broadcaster decided to let the leftovers benefit the Australian charity Youngcare. Bidding opened at $0.99, though a quick succession of bids saw the price of the — we repeat — half-eaten piece of toast rise to $1,000. Within a few hours the price had risen to $15,000, which is when a serious shopper stepped into the mix, putting forth a $50,000 bid. The same bidder continued to make outrageous offers on the toast as other astute 1D fans got in the game, first bidding $80,000, then $85,000, $90,000 and eventually $99,999. That price was matched, meaning that even if the bidder who drove the price up so high was a fraud, there is another person out there willing to pay nearly $100,000 for a piece of half-eaten toast. Curiously, this is not the first time people have gotten all worked up on eBay over curious celeb castoffs. In other toast-related news, during the heyday of ‘NSYNC, a Z-100 DJ auctioned off a piece of French toast that Justin Timberlake took one bite of for a reported $3,154. The toast was purchased by a 19-year-old fan, who reportedly said that she would “probably freeze-dry it, then seal it … then put it on my dresser.” Yep. Justin Bieber gave Ellen DeGeneres a lock of his hair during an appearance on her talk show last year and she decided to put the hair up for auction to benefit the Gentle Barn Foundation, a California-based animal rights organization. Bieber’s luscious locks drew 98 bids and collected $40,688 for the charity. That’s about the cost of tuition at Amherst College. Though it brought in much less cash, a tissue used by Scarlett Johansson on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” still managed to bring in $5,300 for the charity, USA Harvest and online casino GoldenPalace paid $530 for, ahem, “A jar containing air exhaled by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.” Oh, and for “one piece of gum chewed and spat out by the pop princess.” The princess: Britney Spears. The year: 2004. We call dibs on the half-drank bottle of water left by whichever Jonas Brother stops through next. How much would you pay for Niall Horan’s half-eaten toast? Rihanna Ends Interview After Love-Life Questions

Pop star halts Australian interview when she’s asked about her personal life. By Kara Warner Rihanna Photo: Jon Furniss/ WireImage If there’s one thing to admire about Rihanna , it’s the way she speaks her mind on sensitive issues. But during a recent interview with a reporter from the Australian talk show “Sunrise,” RiRi apparently didn’t appreciate the line of questioning and abruptly ended their chat. Because Rihanna was in Australia to promote her upcoming movie “Battleship,” the conversation began with a discussion about her future in films and whether she’ll put her singing career on the back burner in favor of film. “I don’t see why I can’t do both,” she said. “If I love both, then I’ll do great at both. I love music, and after my first experience with movies, I can’t wait to do more.” One of those potential future films is tackling the coveted role of the late great Whitney Houston in an upcoming biopic , which Rihanna said would be a very emotional experience. “She’s been someone that I’ve looked up to for so long,” she said. “Her music is something that I’ve been very close to, so I guess it would be fulfilling as well as … a lot of pressure.” At this point in the interview the reporter brought up Rihanna’s public persona and the pressures and frustrations associated with having all your day-to-day activities reported in the news — specifically when tabloids and gossip websites speculate about Rihanna’s love life and link her to other celebs, like Ashton Kutcher . “[It’s] very frustrating,” Rihanna said, looking annoyed. “Almost as frustrating as being asked about it.” “Yeah, you don’t like going there?” the reporter asked in a diplomatic way. “I mean, what’s the point?” Rihanna responded. “Well people are interested in you, you’re a big star,” the reporter added. “They are. And they’re interested in a lot of things — a lot of things that don’t matter,” said a visibly irritated Rihanna. “Or shouldn’t.” The reporter added in voice-over at the end of the piece that the interview abruptly ended after Rihanna’s last comment. This isn’t the first time the topic of Rihanna’s love life has halted an interview. Last month in London, Rihanna chastised a reporter at a press conference for bringing up the Ashton rumors . “Wow, how disappointing was that question?” she asked in response. “I’m happy and I’m single, if that’s what you’re really asking.” What do you think about Rihanna’s reaction to the personal line of questioning? Boy-Band Romance Rumors: Joe Jonas Dating A Model?

As Jonas is photographed with Brazilian model Jessica Pott, rumors swirl about One Direction’s Harry Styles and the Wanted’s Max George. By Jocelyn Vena Jessica Pott and Joe Jonas in New York on Tuesday Photo: Pacific Coast News For boy banders, it seems that spring has sprung and love is in the air. With so many rumors floating around, it seems like now is the time to do a Boy-Band Romance Report Card. So, MTV News has compiled a roundup of who’s dating whom, who’s nursing a broken heart and who is playing the field. Now, we’ll quit playing games with your heart and dive right into all the juicy details: Whom is Harry Styles Dating, Anyway? These days, One Direction is pretty busy traveling the globe, touring and promoting their album Up All Night , so any rumors of their romantic escapades seem to be as fleeting as their stops in various ports of call. In addition to chatter that Taylor Swift is crushing on him , American singer Lily Halpern opened up about the rumors she’s seeing Harry. She confirmed seeing him when he was in NYC for the band’s appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” but did she confirm whether they are a couple? “I met Harry through Big Time Rush. … We’ve been friends ever since [we met in March],” she told E! News . “He’s adorable. He’s a great, great guy. Who doesn’t have a crush on Harry Styles? He’s great. He’s a good friend. He’s a very good friend. He’s in Australia now. The time difference definitely makes it really hard … so we haven’t been able to talk on the phone or anything, but I’ve definitely heard from him.” “It’s hard. … I saw him this [past] weekend,” the NYC-based singer said of watching “Flubber” with him during some off-time. “I haven’t been able to see him that much. It would be very hard to have a relationship with someone [who travels a lot]. If he was here all of the time, things would probably be different, but we’re friends for now.” One Direction will be back in the States next month for their U.S. tour . Joe Jonas Has a New Lady?!? Well, it seems Joe Jonas has a new lass in his life. The Jonas brother was photographed strutting around Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood with Brazilian model Jessica Pott. He has reportedly been seeing the catwalker since December, but the twosome has been pretty stealthy about avoiding being photographed together. According to the Daily Mail , the two were first spotted together hanging in the Meatpacking District months ago, and her rep would only confirm, “They do know each other.” Jonas has been in and out of New York working his brothers, the currently single “How to Succeed” star Nick and married big bro Kevin, on their next album , a follow-up to 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times . Is Max George Engaged? The Wanted ‘s resident bad boy recently confirmed that he’s no longer betrothed to Brit actress Michelle Keegan, emphatically telling Ryan Seacrest, “No, no, no, not anymore” and adding that he is “absolutely” enjoying the benefits of his heartthrob status. However, her rep tried to clarify their relationship status to the Mirror, noting they are together, despite what Max implied in his interview. “Michelle and Max are still very much together as a couple, but they are both traditionalists and realized that there is no point in being engaged until they are in a position to plan a wedding,” the statement reads. Perhaps they put off a wedding because Max has been very busy chasing success. The Wanted just shot a music video for their single “Chasing the Sun,” and they will release their debut U.S. album on April 24. Related Artists One Direction Jonas Brothers
