Mel B’s 12-year-old old daughter Phoenix has filed a battery police report against her father, Jimmy Gulzar. Sources are reporting that the drama took place when Gulzar refused to let Phoenix leave his house after his custodial time with her. “The cops had to be called to enforce the court order, which states that Mel has primary custody of Phoenix. There was a stand off for several hours. When it became clear that Gulzar wasn’t going to turn Phoenix over, LAPD responded and told Jimmy he had to allow his daughter to leave his apartment,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. The movie-turned-television series “Soul Food” may be returning to TV if Twentieth Century Fox’s development efforts are successful. The film of the same name was released in 1997, and it’s critical acclaim and profitability led to a Showtime series which ran from 2000-2004. According to Mediabistro , the updated version of “Soul Food” is in early development, but executives are interested in making it happen. No word on if the “Soul Food” cast would return, or if it would air on Fox or another television network.
