Heidi Montag’s Boobs At The Zoo

I’m annoyed with myself for posting so many pictures of Heidi Montag this week, especially the ones that include her retarded husband, but I love her big new boobs so I can’t help myself. They’re like crack to me, I can’t get enough of them. Here they are stuffed nicely into a little tank top while she takes them on a day trip to the zoo. Can you believe she was thinking about having these things removed? We almost had to call in the authorities to lock her up in an insane asylum.

8,000 Tons of Dead Endangered Anteater Seized from Poachers

Photo via the Guardian 2,090 frozen pangolins headed for trade on the black market were just intercepted by the Chinese authorities, in what may be evidence of a burgeoning effort to scale back such activity. The pangolin is an endangered species of anteater that’s considered a delicacy in China, and its scales are believed in Chinese folklore to aid breastfeeding mothers. In all, 8,000 tons of dead pangolin were seized from poachers, the gruesome event reflecting both the severity of the illegal animal trade and the authorities increa… Read the full story on TreeHugger

Michael Lohan Calls Lindsay’s Profane Manicure ‘Insane’

Estranged father tells Fox News that ex-wife Dina isn’t doing enough to help Lindsay. By Jocelyn Vena Lindsay Lohan at her probation hearing Wednesday Photo: Mark Ralston/ AP Michael Lohan has been making the media rounds since his estranged daughter Lindsay was sentenced on Tuesday to spend 90 days in jail to be followed by 90 days in rehab for violating probation. And in a new interview, Lohan voiced his opinion on the “f— U” message Lindsay stenciled on her middle fingernail before appearing in court. “It is stupid, it’s insane, it’s so dark,” Michael said on Fox News’ “Studio B With Shepard Smith.” “Why would you do that, and for what reason — and not expect people to see it or word get out?” Asked if he thought Lindsay would go on a binge in the days before serving her prison sentence, he responded, “Absolutely. If anything, [the people around her] enable her.” Michael Lohan also didn’t hold back in saying that his ex-wife, Dina, isn’t doing enough to help Lindsay, who is taking a number of prescription medications, a probation report recently revealed. “It just tears me up. Especially to see that my wife, my ex-wife, is around her and not doing a damn thing to help her. She should be in a rehab now,” he said. “And what Dina should be doing, and I’m calling her out right now, is she should get the names of the doctors off every prescription, every bottle, and she should turn those names over to the authorities for investigation.” Smith, however, pointed out that Michael’s own motives as a parent were called into question when he was photographed smiling as he had dinner with friends just hours after his daughter’s hearing. “Are you kidding me?” Lohan said. “Give me a break. All of my effort is spent on trying to help my daughter, flying all over, back and forth, following her, calling narcotics agencies, meeting with the DEA, meeting with people. And I go out for five minutes to get some food and I spend ‘half as much time helping my daughter’ as I do that? Give me a break! “That’s my kid, don’t tell me how much time I spend helping my daughter, or going out to eat dinner,” he continued. “Or how much time I spend in the f—ing gym.” Related Photos Lindsay Lohan Goes To Court The Highs And Lows Of Lindsay Lohan Related Artists Lindsay Lohan

NYT Reports Whitman’s 2007 ‘Shove’, Ignores Brown Calling Her Nazi Last Week

Americans learned something interesting about the priorities of the New York Times Tuesday: its editors believe a political candidate pushing an employee three years ago is more important than a candidate calling his campaign rival a Nazi last week. Such seems apparent from the Times’ choice to report  California Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman’s alleged employee shoving incident in 2007. By contrast, the Gray Lady has still not informed readers that Democrat gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown last Tuesday likened Whitman to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels. As NewsBusters reported Saturday, Brown said the following to KCBS radio’s Doug Sovern: Brown boasted about his legendary frugality. “I’ve only spent $200,000 so far. I have 20 million in the bank. I’m saving up for her.” It’s true – his stay-on-the-sidelines, bare-bones primary run cost him almost nothing, at least in California political terms. But he also fretted about the impact of all those eBay dollars in Whitman’s very deep pockets. “You know, by the time she’s done with me, two months from now, I’ll be a child-molesting…” He let the line trail off. “She’ll have people believing whatever she wants about me.” Then he went off on a riff I didn’t expect. “It’s like Goebbels,” referring to Hitler’s notorious Minister of Propaganda. “Goebbels invented this kind of propaganda. He took control of the whole world. She wants to be president. That’s her ambition, the first woman president. That’s what this is all about.”  Although a week has passed since this incident, and Brown has admitted having the conversation with Sovern, the Times has STILL not reported his remarks. Yet, as NewsBusters reported Tuesday, Whitman allegedly pushing an eBay employee THREE YEARS AGO — an incident that “no one else appears to have witnessed” — was something the Times devoted almost 1,000 words to citing exclusively unnamed sources:  In addition to noting that the incident involved has no identified witnesses, The Times report specifically tells us that the matter was settled through mediation, and that “the authorities were not involved.” Former eBay CEO Whitman has no criminal exposure. The report is a gratuitous, politically-motivated dredge-up of a long-forgotten matter. The Times’s Brad Stone and likely other reporters clearly put many hours of work into the Whitman report. In the process, he or they encouraged and ultimately convinced eBay employees to breach ethics and to violate confidentiality agreements. The incident’s alleged victim still works at eBay and has clearly moved on. Yes, everyone involved has likely moved on EXCEPT the Times which felt this three-year-old issue was important to share with its readers. Yet something that just happened last week involving Whitman — her being compared to a Nazi by Brown — is STILL not something Times editors feel readers should be aware of. On a related note, the Times also found Republican Senatorial candidate Carly Fiorina’s comments about Sen. Barbara Boxer’s (D-Calif.) hair quite newsworthy filing reports on the open mike quip Friday and Sunday. As such, a Republican allegedly pushing an employee three years ago or commenting about a campaign rival’s hair is more important to the Times than a Democrat calling his political foe a Nazi. Honestly, this is the kind of media bias one would expect in Cuba and Venezuela – NOT America.

On Same Day, NYT Downplays Etheridge Incident, Runs Long Report on 3 Year-Old Alleged Meg Whitman Shove

If the folks at the New York Times had any sense of shame, they would feel foolish today. A review of the Times’s June 15 print edition index and review of the related articles indicates that the paper’s editors: Gave reporter Jeff Zeleny about 330 words on Page A21 to recycle a Caucus Blog post softly covering the video-recorded arguable assault North Carolina Congressman Bob Etheridge committed against a questioner on a public street ” last week ,” and which came to public light early Monday morning. The vague print edition headline (per the index ): “Congressman Apologizes After Tussle.” Devoted almost 1,000 words on Page A15 to a story about a three year-old alleged shoving incident involving California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman that “no one else appears to have witnessed.” Yet the headline gives the impression that the facts are not in dispute: “Settlement Was Paid in Whitman Shoving Incident.” What explains the disparate treatment? I suppose one could argue that the actions of a sitting congressman aren’t as important as those of someone who wants to be (but isn’t yet) chief executive of the nation’s most populous state. Nice try, but I’m not sold. Etheridge is a Democrat. It is still an open question as to whether the incident with which he was involved will become a criminal matter. There’s certainly no lack of evidence. All of this makes it a still-breaking and still-developing story worthy of far more attention than the Times gave it. Whitman is a Republican. In addition to noting that the incident involved has no identified witnesses, The Times report specifically tells us that the matter was settled through mediation, and that “the authorities were not involved.” Former eBay CEO Whitman has no criminal exposure. The incident’s alleged victim still works at eBay and has clearly moved on: In June 2007, an eBay employee claimed that Ms. Whitman became angry and forcefully pushed her in an executive conference room at eBay’s headquarters, according to multiple former eBay employees with knowledge of the incident. They spoke on the condition of anonymity because the matter was delicate and was deemed to be strictly confidential. The employee, Young Mi Kim, was preparing Ms. Whitman for a news media interview that day. Ms. Kim, who was not injured in the incident, hired a lawyer and threatened a lawsuit, but the dispute was resolved under the supervision of a private mediator. Two of the former employees said the company paid a six-figure financial settlement to Ms. Kim, which one of them characterized as “around $200,000.” An agreement to keep the matter confidential was also part of the settlement, and the authorities were not involved. Ms. Whitman was counseled in the matter, the former eBay employees said, by the company’s human resources lawyers and by Henry Gomez, then president of the Skype unit at eBay and now a senior adviser to Ms. Whitman’s campaign. Ms. Kim still works at eBay and is now a senior manager for corporate and executive communications. … When reached by telephone on Monday, Ms. Kim said the issue was a “private matter” and declined to comment. Later, in an e-mail message, Ms. Kim said she and Ms. Whitman had overcome their differences. “Yes, we had an unfortunate incident, but we resolved it in a way that speaks well for her and for eBay,” Ms. Kim said. “And ultimately, I came back to the company, which is not something I had to do.” The Whitman campaign issued a statement signed by Ms. Whitman that described Ms. Kim as a “respected colleague and valuable asset to the company.” The Etheridge incident could yet result in criminal charges, and could affect the Congressman’s ability to continue in office. Absent criminal charges, it could at least subject him to some form of discipline from House leadership (well, let’s say it should, but given who’s in charge, whether anything negative will occur is highly doubtful). By contrast, exactly how is the years-old alleged Whitman incident relevant to the California governor’s race? The wildly different treatment of the two incidents — one drop-dead obvious, the other a “she said, she said” matter that has long since been resolved — reveals the Times’s primary motivation. It isn’t “journalism”; instead, it’s to discredit Republicans while protecting Democrats. Cross-posted at BizzyBlog.com .
