TMZ is reporting that the Harlem native is requesting the courts take him off a child support agreement that he has been legally bounded too since filing for divorce in 2009. His most recent filing claims he should no longer have to pay $6,000 a month for both of his daughters with fashion designer Rachel Roy . His oldest daughter Ava is now 19 and California law stipulates that the court order shall last until the child is 18 barring they are no longer a high school student. In additional Dash claims he isn’t balling out like he used to. According to the paperwork he only made a little bit over $58,000 in 2018 and that Roy should be funding the kids’ day to day activities as she reportedly makes $500,000 a year and lives a very cozy life with regular trips to Europe. He is also asking the judge that he be refunded the payments made after Ava turned 19. The ex couple have had a very turbulent relationship since divorcing. So of course, word is the beloved movie about Harlem drug kingpin Nino Brown, portrayed by Wesley Snipes, is getting a reboot. According to Deadline , Warner Bros. is rebooting New Jack City with Snowfall filmmaker and actor Malcolm M. Mays handling the writing duties. Oh word? Mays is starting to get prolific. Besides credits like Snowfall , Southpaw and Life of a King, he will be directing and producing Flint for Overbrook Entertainment, which stars John Ortiz and T.I., and he’s starring with Anna Kendrick in IFC’s The Day Shall Come. There is no director attached to the New Jack City reboot as of yet. The OG film featured a star-studded cast that included Ice-T, Chris Rock and Judd Nelson, and was directed by Mario Van Peebles. And of course, it inspired what may be the most hilarious episode of Martin , ever.

This Is Us just did it again. We guess we shouldn’t be surprised at this point. And yet: That’s sort of the whole point, isn’t it? On This Is Us Season 4 Episode 1 , which aired Tuesday evening on NBC, the beloved drama shifted our focus from its core characters to a bunch fo newbies… prior to wrapping up the premiere with yet another twist that brought everything together. Appropriately titled “Strangers,” the episode introduced fans to: Cassidy (Jennifer Morrison), an intense military officer whose wartime stint in Afghanistan left her detached, drinking and not very close to her husband, Ryan (Nick Wechsler), and their young son. After losing some control, along with her loved ones, Cassidy sought assistance from a veteran’s support group. From there, we saw her first meeting was interrupted by… Griffin Dunne’s Nicky , who hurled a chair through the window in a fit of drunken anger. Then there was Malik (Asante Blackk), a teenager who’s attempting to provide for a young daughter — at any cost. This new character’s parents are Darnell (Omar Epps) and Kelly (Marsha Stephanie Blake), who shower him with affection and also plenty of babysitting. Darnell made sure that Malik had a few moments of carefree bliss at a friend’s barbecue, where the latter grew instantly smitten with a new-to-Philly girl whose name is… Deja (Lyric Ross). Following along so far? Because we’re about to change time periods. In a flash-forward, viewers met a bold, quippy, struggling blind musician … who married the waitress at the diner he happened to visit by happenstance … and is now enjoying burgeoning fame, because this guy is… Jack (Blake Stadnik). Yes, present-day premature son of Kate and Toby! Both grandmother and mother had music dreams — and Jack was the one who seemed to turn similar dreams into an actual, successful reality. There’s your major Season 4 premiere twist, folks. Elsewhere, however, this opener was anchored in the past, traveling back to the early 1970s as Jack and Rebecca returned from their amazing road trip and were feeling out the possibilities of this new romance. Jack was invited to meet her parents (the incomporable Elizabeth Perkins and Tim Matheson) at a country club dinner, where our favorite underdog Vietnam veteran managed to impress everyone at the table. Ultimately, however, Rebecca’s father shook his hand … and told Jack that wasn’t good enough for his daughter. That’s a lot to take in overall, of course. Thankfully, showrunner Dan Fogelman spoke to Entertainment Weekly and broke down this shocking This Is Us premiere. Why did he introduce new characters in this fashion? Normally you would meet characters through the eyes of your main characters, which always gives you a little bit of a skewed perspective, because you’re meeting them through our characters. But that’s not how you meet strangers in real life. The first time you meet the person who becomes your husband or wife or your new boss or your business partner, they’ve had a whole life before you and the meeting with them is your first experience of them. So I wanted to give the audience that feeling of getting to know these people before you got to know them in relation to our main characters. What will the relationship between Cassidy and Kevin be like? The relationship is complicated, it’s formative, and it’s a very deep, interesting, bizarre relationship. And whether or not it’s ever romantic is for the series to delve into a little bit later on. But it’s an interesting thing when you look back — she’s going to be somebody who adjusts a part of the course of Kevin’s life. As is the entire first half of the season that he’s embarking on. How far might the show flash forward? Beyond Jack at the concert? I mean, anything’s possible. It’s not in the current plan right now… We do have plans for the future and that which we call “the deeper future” — because we call it the one where Rebecca’s in bed “the deep future” — but I think we would only being going past that linearly. Meaning a continuation of where we’ve been with Jack, but not even jumping further into the 2300s or anything like that. How will Jack’s blindness affect Kate and Toby in the present day going forward? It’s a gigantic story… Raising a child is a complicated process, and raising a blind child comes with extra challenges. Obviously, having a newborn child — with or without sight — is a challenging time for young parents. For any parents. You’re snipping at each other, you’re exhausted. [Now] there’s added stuff. John Lewis took his years of experience and a heavy heart to the floor of Congress to call for the beginning of impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump for his many transgressions against democracy. In the wake of Trump’s shady conversation with the president of Ukraine in which he asked the foreign leader to investigate his political opponent, Joe Biden, Rep. Lewis decided that he can no longer sit idly by and watch cowardly Democrats and obsequious Republicans allow 53% of white women’s president to sully the White House with misdeeds. We wished that we could be shocked, but Amber Portwood has not been fired by MTV. But her troubles aren’t over, yet. As she reels from the scandal after fans heard Andrew Glennon’s harrowing audio of her abuse , Andrew’s priorities lie elsewhere. He’s doting on his precious son, James, and gushing over his little boy on social media. Fans are eating it up. Andrew Glennon took to Instagram to sharea pair of fun, adoring photos of him and baby James. “The Bubbs. :)” James begins his sweet caption, including a smiley face emoticon. He praises his baby boy as the “most curious and loving man I know.” A curious baby is a very good sign about his intelligence and development! “Able to reverse engineer anything,” Andrew announces. “And leave it a mess in a single bound.” Andrew wasn’t the only one handing out compliments and praise. One follower congratulated him for remaining steadfast in the face of horror, abuse, and uncertainty. “I admire you for your ability to stand up against how you’ve been treated,” the comment begins. “You’re teaching your son very important lessons,” the fan praises. “And,” the follower concludes. “I know he will grow up to see you as his hero. Good job daddy!” In this day and age, “daddy” is probably not what you want to call a man on the internet unless you really, really mean it. “Such a great papa!” cheers another follower. That same fan continues: “Great to see a beautiful baby with a even better single dad!” “Your (sic) doing a great job raising James,” praises another. The comment suggests: “just dont let him forget about his sister Leah.” The follower advises: “keep in contact with her and her parents Gary and Kristina, she seems to love him dearly” That last followr’s advise was so good and well-intentioned that Andrew responded. “Spoke with Gary,” Andrew announced. “And planning a baby James visit with him, Kristina, Emmy, and Leah soon,” he revealed. Andrew adds: “Just need to pick a day.” Oh, that is both wonderful and exciting. Amber does not have custody of Leah, of course. As fans are hopeful that James will similarly be protected by the time that this ugly business is over, it’s good to remember that they’re siblings. Different dads does not make James and Leah non-siblings. They’re just half-siblings — which is emotionally the same as siblings, folks. And the fact that the person they have in common happens to be a truly terrible mother also does not matter. James and Leah should be in each other’s lives, and it’s wonderful that both Gary and Andrew are taking the steps to ensure that. Despite the evidence that suggests that Amber was verbally and physically abusive towards Andrew, some fans have stood by her. These fans tend to make arguments along the lines of how Andrew must have manipulated her to get her to behave that way. That sounds awfully close to cries of “she shouldn’t have made me mad” that countless of abusers have used as an excuse. Folks, no amount of “manipulation,” even if it were real, could excuse domestic violence. We hope that Amber’s children continue to remain safe from the toxic environment that follows her wherever she goes. According to NBCWashington , Pelosi is expected to announce her full support of the formal impeachment inquiry following a call to action by Rep. John Lewis earlier this afternoon. After months of resisting, Pelosi can no longer argue for temperance after both Trump and Rudy Guiliani essentially admitted publicly that they asked the Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden. The silent and alleged quid pro quo is that Ukraine will receive $400 million in military to dig up dirt on the former Vice President. New Michael Darby Allegations Surface During The #RHOP Reunion During the latest episode of the “The Real Housewives of Potomac” reunion, Ashley Darby’s hubby was hit with NEW allegations. As previously reported Michael Darby was criminally charged with sexual assault for allegedly grabbing the butt of a crew member, The man named Orville Palmer alleged that Michael groped him last September gave him a flirtatious look.” That lead to Michael being charged with felony assault as well as misdemeanor improper sexual contact but those charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. Since then Michael and Ashley have continuously hammered home that he was exonerated. Unfortunately for the couple, however, the RHOP housewives still aren’t convinced and after chatting about Michael’s alleged actions all season, they rehashed things during the reunion. While Ashley tried to bring up her husband’s exoneration, the ladies noted that back in season one Michael was caught (red-handed, no pun) groping the butt of Katie Rost’s boo Andrew. Not only that, Robyn Dixon alleged that several RHOP producers accused Michael of touching them too. “That same evening when he grabbed Andrew’s butt, we also were made aware that he grabbed a couple of our producers’ butts as well,” said Robyn. Ashley apparently was blindsided by that latest bit of information but ALL of her costars agreed that they’d too heard that rumor. “News to me,” said Ashley. “I have never heard this.” Poor Ashley. The hit caused the elderly man to fall and hit his head on the ground, which is when he claims he went unconscious for a brief amount of time. Paramedics along with Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies quickly responded to the scene at the time of the accident and and Ali cooperated with law enforcement, so she was not arrested. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Robert Ise (the man Ali hit) says he suffered a left orbital blowout fracture, a concussion, and lacerations and contusions across his body. Ise claims he still suffers from pain and emotional distress due to Ali’s negligence while driving, and now, he wants her to pay for all past and future medical expenses.
