Ben Flajnik on The Bachelor: WORST Experience Ever!

Ben Flajnik proposes to either Courtney Robertson or Lindzi Cox on the March 12 season finale of The Bachelor, to be followed by the After the Final Rose special. Not a moment too soon for the star, who has been miserable throughout the filming and aftermath of the hit show and reportedly hated his reality TV experience. According to sources, Ben taped the Women Tell All episode and was taken aback by all the bitterness, and overheard griping about the show during the taping. “Ben was talking to the producers and when they asked if he would do the show again he said ‘No way! This was the worst experience of my life,’” an insider said . According to the source, Ben wasn’t acting like a happy guy who is engaged to the love of his life (read our Bachelor spoilers page to learn who we think that is). “He wasn’t animated or excited and the insider said it is because he totally regrets going on the show,” the source said. “Ben couldn’t hide how miserable he was.” “Everyone could see that he wasn’t happy.” Ben Flajnik wasn’t the only person there in a bad mood. Courtney Robertson, the only finalist to go on ATFR in recent memory, was just as miserable looking. “Courtney was complaining and moaning ‘Can we stop this now?’ She was annoyed that the women were picking on her and the process was taking so long.” “A producer had to remind her ‘You’re doing this for you and Ben.’ She agreed but was rolling her eyes the whole time; she just couldn’t wait to get out of there.” ATFR airs Monday, with the finale a week later. On the show Ben has narrowed his choices down to Lindzi and Courtney for the final rose ceremony March 12. Only one of those two has been seen wedding dress shopping , but from his attitude at the recent taping, it doesn’t seem like Ben is happily in love right now. What’s Next for Paula Abdul?

She’s currently among the nation’s unemployed, but Paula Abdul says that won’t remain the case for long. “I will definitely be returning to television,” the ousted X Factor judge told reporters this week while promoting FemBody Nutrition, a line of nutritional supplements available at GNC. “I am in the middle of many network meetings, and I’m being pitched a whole bunch of different ideas.” Abdul says she has no hard feelings toward Simon Cowell, or anyone in general. The former Los Angeles Lakers Girl and hit singer appears to be in a positive place, saying: “Right now life is good, and I never worry about reinvention. I think it’s the most exciting thing to do.” Fair enough. But let’s plan Paula’s future for her, shall we? What do you think should be her next professional move?

Ben Flajnik on Lindzi Cox: So In Love!!

Despite Nicki’s and Kacie B.’s best efforts on last night’s episode , Courtney Robertson won a spot on The Bachelor season finale alongside Lindzi Cox. Who will he propose to March 12, Lindzi or Courtney? Does the former have any chance against the Black Widow, or is she destined for heartbreak? The Bachelor spoilers page on THG has all the latest on that subject, but judging by comments Ben himself made in his weekly blog, it’s a toss-up. The rose-giver told People the following: On Lindzi : “She is always up for anything, and that is a really attractive quality. Speaking of attractive, sometimes I’m awestruck when looking at Lindzi.” “I find her to be so beautiful, even when I put her in a helmet and harness and dangle her from a rope. Lindzi also started to open up to me even more.” “I know it’s hard for her and she likes to go for the joke before the serious moment, but I also want to be married to someone who I can have those serious discussions with and a woman who will tell me how she really feels.” “The last few weeks, Lindzi has been doing that.” “For the first time, I truly feel I am in love with this woman and was looking forward to dinner and seeing if she was feeling the same way.” “Again, Lindzi surprised me with her openness and honesty, and I began to feel more for her in that moment than I ever had before.” On Courtney : “I love her silliness and quirkiness, but I want to see an emotional side too, and this came just in time. I was excited to see how our relationship develop even more.” “I light up every time I am around Courtney.” “We had a lot of natural, easy-going fun, and I realized how many things we have in common when it comes to things like traveling, food and music.” “But I still couldn’t stop thinking about the other women’s warnings. I felt like she deflected any of the blame, and it was starting to really bother me that she didn’t see her role in any of the drama amongst the women.” “The dinner conversation we had was exactly what I needed to hear. I was really relieved to hear Courtney admit that she could have tried harder.” “I know they were sometimes mean to her, too, but I needed to hear her say she could have done things differently and gotten much better results.” “I have tried this entire journey to be patient and more forgiving. Courtney was worth the patience and I was happy to feel like she turned a big corner.” Well? Who should Ben choose, Lindzi or Courtney?

Courtney Robertson: Sort of Defended By Ex-Boyfriend Cavan Clark!

The Bachelor contestant Courtney Robertson may not be a fan favorite. That’s the understatement of all time, actually, but her ex-boyfriend, Cavan Clark says that in real life, she’s different from how she appears on the series. Cavan says that “unlike what you see on the show, she’s actually a nice girl, and getting a bad rap” based on the show’s editing and media coverage. Not sure how a 53-minute trash talk montage can be explained away, but good to hear! Seriously though. 53 minutes, not including Monday’s episode: Courtney Robertson Trash Talk Greatest Hits “I still keep in touch with Courtney,” he adds. “We dated, and after it ended she went on The Bachelor . Life happens; people fall in love and people break up.” The two met and fell in love while Courtney Robertson , 28, was modeling for one of the fashion lines Cavan Clark, a 36-year-old photographer, shoots for. He does say Courtney is doing everything in her power to get the final rose … and reading between the lines, that she might not be motivated by love. “She’s obviously doing everything she can to win this, seeing that it is a reality dating competition,” he says of one of Ben Flajnik’s final three women. If The Bachelor spoilers we’ve compiled are to be believed, she may very well be one of the final two standing this season … we’ll have to wait and see. Aside from Cavan, she dated Jim Toth, before he married Reese Witherspoon, Entourage ‘s Adrian Grenier and Desperate Housewives’ Jesse Metcalfe. Clearly #winning a lot on the Hollywood dating scene. Ben Flajnik sent fan favorite Kacie Boguskie packing on Monday’s hometown dates episode of The Bachelor, the third-to-last installment of the ABC show’s season. In a surprise, Courtney Robertson, Nicki Sterling and Lindzi Cox all moved on (see The Bachelor spoilers for scoop on the next two weeks) while Kacie was left in tears. In his weekly blog on People , Ben reflects on his travels to Clarksville, Tenn., Kacie’s hometown, and the turning point when the romance began to go downhill fast. The Bachelor: Week 8 Rose Ceremony, Week 9 Promo “The day portion of our date went swimmingly as usual, but as Kacie started to talk about her dad, I got nervous,” Ben writes. “I started to think he wouldn’t approve of me being so different than a man he would normally want his daughter to date.” “The evening was difficult for me. Whitney Houston Memorial Service Off, Funeral Planned for Saturday

The earlier reports are true: Whitney Houston will be laid to rest this Saturday in her native city of Newark, New Jersey. The service will take place at the New Hope Baptist Church, the same locale in which Houston (and cousin Dionne Warwick) sang in the choir as a child. Sources say the family wants to keep this event as private as possible and will limit capacity to no more than 300 guests. Meanwhile, Newark Mayor Cory Booker has come out and shot down talk of a public memorial, saying of rumors that one would take place later this week: “The Houston family has no plans to set up a public viewing at the Prudential Center this Friday. In compliance with the family’s wishes, the city is not moving forward with any public ceremony.” Across the country, of course, citizens and celebrities continue to celebrate the singer’s life in their own ways. LeAnn Rimes, for example, sang a tribute to Whitney last night.

Lindsay Lohan Forgets to Pay Taxes … Again

Lindsay Lohan has more tax liens against her than she does probation violation charges. Okay, that’s a gross exaggeration … but she does have more than one. Which is ridiculous in itself. That’s right, according to the L.A. County Recorder’s Office, Lindsay never paid federal income taxes for 2010: $140,203.30 worth. This is a different case than the $93,701.57 she owes from 2009 . Baffling. As TMZ previously reported , LiLo never cut Uncle Sam a check for the $93,701.57 she was supposed to pay in federal income taxes for 2009 either. Lohan blamed her accountants for the 2009 debacle (obviously, never her fault) so it’s probably safe to say they’re on the hook for 2010 as well. On a side note, Lindsay Lohan owed $140,203.30 in just federal taxes in 2010? From what work, exactly? And are her legal fees nearly as high? Good thing those Lindsay Lohan Playboy pics just netted her nearly a million bucks. She may need a good chunk of that just to pay off the IRS. [Photo: Pacific Coast News]
