ABC has announced the full cast for Bachelor in Paradise Season 5. You remember Bachelor in Paradise, right? The series that nearly got canceled due to a dangerous mixture of alcohol and sex ? With those assault allegations apparently totally in the past , the network is moving ahead with a new batch of disposed Bachelor and Bachelorette suitors, all looking for love on reality television (at least) one more time. Who has been tabbed to get wasted and have intercourse while pretending to develop real feelings for a potential wife or husband? Find out below! 1. ANGELA She’s a model who was kicked off Nick Viall’s season on the very first night. We know basically nothing about her. 2. ANNALIESE She suffered through Arie’s season of The Bachelor and made it known that she was in a bumper car accident AND got attacked by a dog in her past. 3. ASTRID Remember when she wore just a sports bra on a date with Nick Viall? Granted, they were on a track and field date. Anyway… she’s on the show. 4. BIBIANA That’s her real name, we checked. She nearly made it to the end of Winter Games in a relationship with Jordan, the former Bachelor in New Zealand. 5. CHELSEA She received the first impression rose from Arie… and then it was all downhill from there basically. She was sent packing shortly thereafter. 6. DAVID He was just kicked off Becca’s season after arriving in a chicken suit on the first night. He then fell off of the top bunk and broke his nose. He ended his epic run by being sent home on the two-on-one date. View Slideshow
The Bachelor and The Bachelorette do not lack for gorgeous women, and they do not lack for confidence when it comes to their looks. Don't believe us? Take a look at some of their most tantalizing, beauitful swimwear photos. You're welcome, basically. 1. JoJo Fletcher in Black and White The Bachelorette leading lady of 2016, JoJo Fletcher, looks amazing in this halter top. Unfortunately, Jordan Rodgers also appears in this photo. Win some, lose some. 2. Desiree in a Bikini With photos like this, Desiree Hartsock will stop your heart. Or traffic. Chris Siegfried is a lucky man. Also, can you believe they are actually still together?! They’re one of a select few couples from the series that has actually made this work! 3. The (Michelle) Money Shot The aptly-named Michelle Money was gold for the franchise. As one of the most attractive women ever to appear on it, she defied convention by becoming more likable with every appearance on The Bachelor’s many summer spinoffs. That’s hard to pull off. 4. Kaitlyn Bristowe in a Pink Bikini Kaitlyn Bristowe looks gorgeous in this bikini, though she usually prefers one-pieces. She and fiance Shawn Booth still haven’t set the date yet, but she has frozen her eggs — with the help of fertility nurse Whitney Bischoff, to whom she lost in Season 19. Wild. 5. That’s So Raven (Gates) Raven Gates may have made waves with her revelation that she’d never had an orgasm, but she’s still happily dating Adam Gottschalk after the two met on Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise. Maybe he’s doing something right. 6. Rachel Lindsay in a Black Top Rachel Lindsay was the franchise’s first-ever black Bachelorette, and she is as gorgeous as she is smart. Some question her wisdom, after she dumped Peter Kraus for Bryan Abasolo, but no one questions her smarts or hotness. View Slideshow
We all know that Jim Bob Duggar likes to maintain control of his massive family. Religion, isolation, and allegedly abuse are parts of that. Another part may be his wealth. Fans believe that he has a strategy to keep his married children from straying too far. Are fans right? Is he bribing his adult children to stay close to home in Arkansas? As we all know, Jim Bob’s grand design for humanity involves women not working except as obedient wives, dutiful mothers, and reality stars. In this economy, after a couple of decades of wage stagnation, supporting a massive family of children on only one income can be positively brutal. But fans think that they know how married Duggar children remain afloat despite the expenses of life. It’s more than just asking daddy — sorry, their father and former owner — for a handout. They suspect that he uses the money to control them. Specifically, to control where they live. Let’s look at a few examples. We’ll start, of course, with the worst of the batch. By the worst, we of course mean Josh Duggar, whose recent return to social media did not go over well. When Josh Duggar married Anna, Jim Bob rewarded that ill-fated (and yet still enduring) union. Josh and Anna moved into a house in Fayetville that had belonged to Grandma Mary. That house was only 15 minutes by car from the Duggar compound. But Johs and Anna didn’t stay there forever. Josh got a job with the Family Research Council, which the Southern Poverty Law Center designates as a hate group , To do that job, he moved to Maryland. When news broke that Josh had molested 5 little girls , including his own sisters, that his family had covered it up, and that he had cheated on his wife, he lost his job. Josh and his family now live in Siloam Springs, which is about 20 minutes away from Jim Bob. Now, we know that there isn’t the clearest connection between Jim Bob and their move back home. Maybe Josh wanted to be around the only people who wanted anything to do with him — which happens to include a few of his former victims. But Jill was the next to get married. She tied the knot with notorious homophobe Derick Dillard in 2014. After they were married, Jim Bob allowed them to reside in his 4,000 square foot, 4-bedroom $1.5 million “mini-mansion” property. Many fans believed that this “gift” may have been intended as a leash to keep the couple close to home. It is unclear if they had to pay rent or not, though Derick has implied that they did. Now that they have returned from their misadventurous mission trip in South America, they are living closer to where Derick went to school. Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald have lived in the Fayetville home that was once inhabited by Josh and Anna. In fact, Jim bob surprised Jessa and Ben by renovating the property while they were on their honeymoon. They must have been happy with it, because they have lived there for the past three-and-a-half years. Ultimately, they ended up paying Grandma Mary just one dollar for the home. (So that’s how Millennials can save up to buy a house — just have rich relatives who give one away!) Not everyone seems to live on Jim Bob’s dime, however. Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth lived in an RV, if you can imagine … but only while a property that Austin already owned was rennovated. When Gideon was born, they went ahead and moved in, even though the house remained a fixer-upper. In the mean time, 28-year-old John David, 28-year-old Jana, and 18-year-old Jason are already homeowners … but Jim Bob does not permit them to live away from “home” until they are married. Not everyone is a denizen of Arkansas, however. Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo have put down roots in Texas. So … are fans right? We would never accuse Jim Bob of being a nice person or a good parent, but it sounds like he provides his married children with homes when they need them. He might use any financial support as a means of control, but he uses all kinds of methods to control his family. Nothing about the real estate uses strikes us as particularly devious or unusual for a family with the means that the Duggars possess. But … we never know what conversations take place behind the scenes. Fans may still be right. The Duggars don’t talk about money that much, but they definitely care about it. It’s been a little over a year since Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins broke up . While Ben left The Bachelor: Winter Games in tears not too long ago, Lauren is opening up about what it was really like leading up to and after her engagement to him. In particular, she’s revealing more than ever about her misgivings about their one-season spin-off. Speaking on Reality Steve ‘s latest podcast , Lauren Bushnell describes exactly what it’s like in the hours leading up to the filming of a The Bachelor finale. “There’s so much doubt in your mind.” It makes sense. When you’re part of the final three, it must all become so real. A fun reality opportunity to get your 15 minutes of fame could set the course of your entire life. “And I remember waking up that morning and I kind of had an idea that I was possibly going to get engaged and I remember having so much anxiety about it.” That is very natural. “Looking back, I don’t know if that was my gut being like, wait, timing-wise, this is too rushed or what.” Anxiety is a mysterious mistress who comes to us for good reason … and for no reason at all. “But I remember being really anxious that morning to the point where like I kind of snapped at my producer, which I had never done.” Oh, yikes! “We were super-close and good friends.” She says that she needed some isolation during which to psych herself up for going on camera and for the man who had told her “I love you” to very possibly propose. “I remember locking myself in the bathroom and being so overwhelmed and anxious.” She wonders if she subconsciously realized that it would not end well. “Now looking back, I wonder if it was my gut being like, this isn’t the right timing. You guys need more time.” Or maybe she just had a case of the jitters. “I don’t know. Who knows?” And speaking of Lauren’s reality career and anxiety, remember her short-lived spin-off with Ben? Lauren & Ben: Happily Ever After? “Obviously we had lots of talks and by no means was my arm twisted to force me to do anything.” That said … she has always said that embarking on yet another reality series doomed them , even though it was not the only issue. “At the end of the day, I made my own decision.” Remember, they moved to Denver — where Ben had a job, friends, and family. Lauren had … nothing. Not even time with her fiance, thanks to the constant presence of cameras. “But I remember initially the show was supposed to be about Ben running for office.” Oh boy. “He wanted to get into politics.” This was not how Lauren had seen her life going at all. “And not only did I not want to do a reality show, but I also really didn’t want my life to be a politician’s fiancée or wife or whatever.” Remember how, just a few days after their breakup, Ben Higgins broke his silence and talked about their breakup? Lauren sure does. “I just don’t think you should ever use or let anyone around you use a breakup or a tough situation or actual personal feelings or personal life to promote something or benefit off something or profit off something.” Ben used that to garner interest for his radio show. “It just makes me feel uncomfortable…” Very understandable. Especially since doing so allowed Ben to define the story in people’s minds. “I was automatically kind of the bad guy and he was kind of the victim so that was a hard pill to swallow.” That sounds so unfair. “But at the end of the day, I’m glad I kept true to who I was…” Lauren has obviously opened up about their life together — and what went wrong. But she took her time. More than Ben did, anyway. “I just don’t think I’d necessarily talk about those things right away.” Lauren also addresses whether, in some alternate timeline in which Ben proposed to JoJo Fletcher instead of to her, she would have accepted the role of leading lady on The Bachelorette . “That’s such a hard question. I don’t know.” That’s very honest. “Honestly, I think I’ve realized this especially as I’ve gotten older, I do not like all eyes on me.” But that doesn’t necessarily mean that she would have realized that at the time, right? “I don’t like all the attention to be on me. I would feel really weird having 20 guys competing for my attention and I think I would really, really struggle with that.” Ah, yes, every beautiful woman’s nightmare. (We tease — we totally understand her discomfort) View Slideshow: 33 Hottest Women of The Bachelor: Who’s #1?
Not every suitor on The Bachelorette is a prince. Sometimes, as you know if you follow The Bachelorette Spoilers , creeps make their way onto the show. Recently uncovered screencaps of Garrett Yrigoyen’s horrifying social media activity has a lot of the Bachelor Nation decrying him as a bigot. Now, Garrett is issuing an apology. Is it good enough? Garrett Yrigoyen had “liked” a series of images on Instagram. Among them were images mocking immigrants, mocking trans women, fat-shaming women, and promoting conspiracy theories about survivors of the Parkland shooting. Now that he’s been caught, Garrett took to social media to post an apology. “To those who I have hurt and offended: This is all new to me.” That’s not an apology, but it could be the start of one. “I went on the Bachelorette for the adventure and possibility of falling in love, not fame.” That sounds an awful lot like he’s sorry that his activity was exposed, right? “I did not know what to expect once the show aired.” He does apologize, after a fashion. “I am sorry to those who I offended and I also take full responsibly for my ‘likes’ on Instagram that were hurtful and offensive.” While some would have appreciated phrasing that doesn’t appear to cast blame on those who were offended, he did say that he is sorry. “garrett_yrigs12 was my former Instagram handle and I decided to take it down and start fresh.” His new handle is gy_yrigoyen. He says that he remade his Instagram, giving himself a social media blank slate, because: “I have learned an extremely valuable lesson and am taking steps to grow, become more educated, and be a better version of myself.” He then says that this has been a wake-up call. “I am not perfect, and I will never be anywhere close, but now I will always be more informed and aware of what I am liking and supporting, not just on Instagram, but in life.” Well, it’s good that he’s thinking about it, at least. “I never realized the power behind a mindless tap on Instagram and how it bears so much weight on people’s lives.” He again seems to be blaming the people impacted by his activity rather than himself, but perhaps this is simply how he writes. (We all have peculiarities in our writing styles) “I did not mean any harm by any of it.” He says that simply because he enjoys memes about unabashed cruelty towards entire demographics of people does not mean that he’s a bad person. “My Instagram ‘likes’ were not a true reflection of me and my morals.” Furthermore, it sounds like Garrett did not enjoy people referring to him as a bigot. “I am not the negative labels people are associating me with.” He claims that people who know him in person don’t see him that way. “For those who do know me, I am a sincere, genuine, loving, light-hearted, open-minded, and non-judgemental individual.” He prefers to describe himself as affable. “I like to make new friends with anyone I meet and want everyone to find their happiness …” He thinks that others should take his experience to heart when they are on social media. “Let my mistakes be a lesson for those who mindlessly double tap images, memes, and videos on any social media content that could be many things including hurtful, degrading, and dehumanizing.” Though she is noted for her left-leaning views, Becca Kufrin defended Garrett in the wake of his scandal. “I want viewers to be open to everyone, and I want them to go through this season with me and watch my love story unfold with all of these men.” Last season had a racist suitor. We suppose that it’s no surprise that this season seems to have an everything-ist. “I did things in the past that I’m sure wasn’t the best thing, but I just want people to stay open-minded to everyone.” Either Becca is just very nice (she is), or she’s going out of her way to back up Garrett. “I can’t fault on anyone for what they believe and who’s to say that anyone is truly what they believe in if they just double tap.” Doesn’t that depend upon what they believe? There’s a difference between having a stance on immigration and laughing at the idea of a brown-skinned child being tossed over a wall. “I can’t speak to that because that’s just not me. I am a strong woman and I do believe in certain things, but again, that’s what’s so great about our country — everyone is entitled to their own opinions.” Garrett’s story of his social media scandal being a wake-up call that led him to rethink things and become a better person is nothing short of incredible. But some fans took the comments to suggest that it is literally incredible. As in in -credible, not credible. The posts that he seemed to enjoy so much transcend political opinions and, as bloggers such as Reality Steve noted, cross the lines of what is considered basic human decency. One of the worst posts that he “liked” labeled the survivors of the February 14 Parkland shooting as “crisis actors.” It has not even been four months. He would have had to have made a total personality turnaround in a very short time. Has becoming famous and being held responsible for his abhorrent opinions made Garrett into a better human being overnight? Or has he simply become embarrassed that he was exposed? Meredith Phillips, the star of ABC’s Bachelorette back in 2004, said this week on a podcast that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by a crew member on the set of this long-running ABC reality show. It’s a damning and troubling accusation. Per Reality Blured, Phillips made this allegation while speaking to Steve Carbone (aka Reality Steve) in response to a question about the most challenging aspect of production. “Well, besides being always really tired and some of the producers were – how do I say this? Helpful but not helpful, in terms of trying to make me relax,” Phillips replied, somewhat mysteriously. She then elaborated: “Normally, I wouldn’t talk about this, but I’m going to tell you because it’s bothered me for years. “And I know another friend of mine who was working on the show felt the same experience I did, about getting roofied and in a hot tub and kind of accosted.” Wait… what? Roofied? As in: someone drugged Phillips and took advantage of her? Yes, she says. The allegedly awful deed was done by “a masseuse that a producer hired to come into my room and to give me a massage,” says Phillips. The ex-reality star says she assumed the pill this person gave her was an “aspirin or something to loosen up my back.” But… “It definltey wasn’t that, that’s for sure. The last thing I remember was she got naked and she was in the tub with me, and rubbing my back and rubbing areas probably she shouldn’t have. “And then I was put in bed. I woke up naked. Don’t remember much.” Yikes. That’s extremely disturbing to hear. Phillips, whose season of The Bachelorette was filmed in 2003 and aired in early 2004, said that the experience was “hard for me to talk about because I think I’ve put it somewhere else in my brain.” She was rejected by Bob Guiney on The Bachelor Season 4, finishing as the third runner-up, prior to starring as The Bachelorette and selecting Ian McKee as her winning suitior. The couple broke up in February of 2005. Thinking back on this horrifying incident, Phillips said once whatever she had taken kicked in, “I literally couldn’t even move my body, so I have no idea what the pill was, at all. “All I know is that I was told that, ‘This will make you feel better.'” ABC is yet to address this charge, but we’d expect the network to make a statement at some point. Why didn’t she leave the series after this happened? There was “definitely a part of me” that wanted to, she acknowledges, “but I am also the kind of person that finishes what she starts… “It is a huge deal. I have worked through it.” The story has come out just days before Becca Kufrin debuts as The Bachelorette on Season 14. View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Season 14: Who Are Becca’s Men?

Filming for the upcoming season is still underway, but The Bachelorette spoilers have already begun to reveal details of Becca Kufrin’s journey. With another month to go until the season premiere, the beautiful brunette has narrowed her list of suitors to six. And we know which ones! Thanks to a little luck, and mostly Reality Steve – who else – we are all over The Bachelorette spoilers almost as they happen these days. The man is a god, we’re telling you. According to Steve’s Twitter , Becca’s final six men are in the Bahamas, where the final dates before her hometown visits take place. Obviously, he’s been wrong before, and you never really know the full story until the show airs, but this is likely accurate. Very accurate. Without further ado, let’s get to it: Kufrin’s top six bachelors are: Blake Horstmann, Colton Underwood, Garrett Yrigoyen, Jason Tartick, Leo Dottavio, and Wills. Guess Steve doesn’t have his last name yet. Hey, 11/12 names isn’t bad. Indeed, the Bachelorette and Bachelor spoilers guru hasn’t released much about Wills, so his life story may just be harder to hunt down. In any case, the rose ceremony – if everything follows the franchise’s typical order of things – should send two of the six packing. Meanwhile, Becca will pack up her things and travel to the hometowns of the final four men, followed by three fantasy overnight dates. There, Chris Harrison will invite Becca to the Fantasy Suite … with each of the three lucky gents. If she, and they, desire this, of course. Then it will be time for the final two to meet Becca’s family, and for her to choose one at the final rose ceremony in an exotic location. Two weeks later, Kufrin will proceed to break up with the winner, dump him with cameras rolling, then secretly get back with the runner-up. Just kidding. Too soon. In truth, Becca’s odds of finding lasting love may not be great, despite what we’d like to believe. The show’s track record is just bad. On the flip side, The Bachelorette has produced more success stories than The Bachelor in recent years … and the bar is very low. After winning Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s final rose and engagement ring, only to be stripped of both and humiliated on live TV, you can only go up. Also in Becca’s favor? She’s Becca. Beautiful, confident, authentic, sweet and smart, she may be the single most popular lead in the history of the franchise. That can’t hurt. View Slideshow: 33 Hottest Women of The Bachelor: Who’s #1? Back in 2015, a photograph of Ben Affleck sporting a huge back tattoo made its way around the interwebs, and a good laugh was had by all. Being the kind of guy who pretends he doesn’t care what anyone thinks but who actually lives for public adulation, Ben claimed the tattoo was fake. He insisted the garish phoenix rising from the ashes was airbrushed on for a movie he was directing and starring in called Live By Night . “[It’s] fake for a movie,” Affleck very explicitly stated in a 2016 interview. “I actually do have a number of tattoos but I try to have them in places where you don’t have to do a lot of cover up they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after awhile.” Since no one actually saw the film, no one pieced together that Ben’s Prohibition-era gangster never actually disrobes to reveal a giant, brightly-colored, anachronistic tattoo. Rumors about the big ugly ink persisted, but Ben made headlines for so much other bad behavior that fans never launched a full-blown investigation. Remarkably, Ben has kept his torso pretty well covered over the past two and a half years, but that might have more to do with his booze-bellied dad bod and less to do with hiding the big bird. (Feel free to use that as a euphemism for sex, btw.) Sadly, Beantown Benny slipped over the weekend when he removed his shirt for a beach scene in a movie he’s filming. Hopefully, Ben’s character is the type of guy who collects samurai swords and lost his virginity to a prostitute at 29, because this tatt is not the sort of thing that can be edited out in post-production. Yes, we now know for sure that Ben was lying about the tattoo being a fake, and Twitter is having a field day. “Don’t mock Ben Affleck’s phoenix tattoo. It symbolizes how he has risen from the ashes, reborn as a guy with a tattoo that sucks,” tweeted Pixelated Boat. “I’ve been following the Ben Affleck back tattoo drama more closely than the Mueller investigation,” quipped Sophia Benoit. “Ben Affleck’s back tattoo is, and I’m saying this without hyperbole, one of the funniest goddamn things I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” Dashiell Driscoll opined. All we need is Dril and DaShareZone to sound off on this thing, and all of Twitter will have had its say. So how is Affleck reacting to ironically being roasted for a phoenix tattoo? Well, thus far, he’s about the only one who hasn’t sounded off on it. Even Ben’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, flamed his ass, telling Ellen DeGeneres that she “take[s] umbrage” at being represented as the ash from which Ben’s metaphorical phoenix arises. Must suck to realize you spent a massive chunk of your life married to a guy who would not only get that fugly of a tattoo but would proceed to lie to the whole world about it. Hmmm … we may have finally figured out what horrible revelation came to Garner at the Oscars. View Slideshow: 27 Tattoos These Celebrities May One Day Regret
Cynthia Nixon has a message for Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall: You women keep doing your adorable little cat fight thing. I’m gonna go makeover an entire state, okay? Indeed, while the latter two ex-Sex and the City stars continue to bicker over their fake friendship , Nixon has set her sights on something a bit more pressing. The actress announced on Monday afternoon that she is running for Governor of New York. “I love New York, and today I’m announcing my candidacy for governor. Join us,” Nixon Tweeted alongside a two-minute video just a short while ago, adding via voiceover in this video: “New York is my home, I’ve never lived anywhere else. “When I grew up here, it was just my mom and me in a one-bedroom, fifth floor walk-up. “New York is where I was raised and where I’m raising my kids. I’m a proud public school graduate and a prouder public school parent.” Sounds like she has one item on her platform (education) already checked off. Sex and the City, of course, was filmed in The Big Apple. One television critic after another analyzed how the location itself was as much of a character on the HBO smash hit as Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte themselves. Continues Nixon in her campaign footage: “I was given chances I just don’t see for most of New York’s kids today. “Our leaders are letting us down. We are now the most unequal state in the entire country, with both incredible wealth and extreme poverty. Half the kids in our upstate cities live below the poverty line. “How did we let this happen? I love New York. I’ve never wanted to live anywhere else, but something has to change.” Nixon will be challenging Governor Andrew Cuomo in a Democratic primary this fall If she wins the overall election, she’ll be the first openly gay woman to hold this position. Her entrance in the race guarantees that Cuomo (who has over $30 million his campaign account and who polls list as being far ahead) will face an intra-party challenge from his fairly far left. “We are sick of politicians who care more about headlines and power than they do about us,” Nixon says in her video. “It can’t just be business as usual anymore.” The Democratic primary will be held on September 13 and Nixon has already received encouragement from Rosie O’Donnell. “CYNTHIA NIXON FOR GOVERNOR OF NEW YORK!” Tweeted the comedian after Nixon made her announcement, adding: “#myFULLsupport – she is one of kind – brilliant – brave bold and so smart – a true leader #Nixon4NY.” Concluded Nixon, running down more issues on which she feels strongly: We want our government to work again, on health care, ending mass incarceration, fixing our broken subway. We are sick of politicians who care more about headlines and power than they do about us. Do YOU agree? Let us know below: Should Cynthia Nixon be Governor of New York? Yes, I’m a Miranda! Yes, she’d really help the state! No. View Poll »
