Donald Trump Interrupts The Bachelorette, Gets Blasted by Furious Fans

Just because you follow  The Bachelorette  Spoilers  and know how things end doesn't mean that you don't want to enjoy the episode in peace. But, this week,  The Bachelorette  was interrupted by the exact opposite of peace — it was an announcement of Donald Trump's Supreme Court pick. And the Bachelor Nation was  pissed . Chris Harrison warned viewers in advance that Trump would be preempting the broadcast. But the Bachelor Nation has been waiting for ages to  watch Colton Underwood tell Becca Kufrin that he's a virgin . Most people get their breaking news from Twitter and their in-depth coverage from online articles these days, so it was understandably difficult for many people to understand why they needed to waste 20 minutes of their lives. And, as you may have heard, Trump isn't exactly hitting any record highs for Presidential popularity. So the Bachelor Nation took to Instagram to vent their fury and frustration. Take a look: 1. Fans were pissed This tweet shows that you can care about politics but still be furious that you’re missing your show. People can do both. 2. Is this evidence of Trump hypocrisy? Honestly, “caring about women” is not really part of his brand. 3. This has happened before Remember when Trump interrupted Bachelor in Paradise? What does he have against the pursuit of love? 4. The language became colorful It takes a lot of audacity to interrupt primetime television and take twenty entire minutes to read one name. 5. Trump was not what the Bachelor Nation wanted to see Seriously. And now everyone wants to know how Blake’s mom feels about what he decided to share with the world. 6. This is what you’d call a swing voter That’s probably an easy promise to make. Unless you have some sort of pathology that makes you crave the spotlight so much that you schedule a briefing for primetime. View Slideshow

Daughter Asks Mom for Bread Recipe, Immediately Regrets It

Krista Ball just wanted to bake something delicious for her family this holiday season. The Newfoundland, Canada native sent what she believed was a simple text message request to her mother recently, asking how to make her mother's beloved bread for her own immediate family. What followed, however, was anything but simple. Try to follow along below, as Ball attempts to remain calm and collected in the face of her mother's less-than-detailed description… 1. Homemade Bread is Delicious We’ll start with that simple statement. It’s easy to buy at the store, but sometimes it can be worth putting in the time at home. 2. So That Brings Us to Krista She reached out and asked her mom for a bread recipe. And it started out easy enough. Six loaves is a lot, but sure, right? 3. You Need a Big Bag But not TOO big. And not too small, either, just so we’re clear. 4. Where is “That Place?” Alberta. Now that this is settled, let’s move on, shall we? 5. The Pan Must Be Big Let me make that as clear and as repetitive as I can. We’re talking a BIG pan here, Krista. 6. This Doesn’t Seem Very Technical But great cooks sort of improvise, right? We’re still following along… so far. View Slideshow

Rachel Lindsay & Bryan Abasolo: Preparing to Elope?!

We all make mistakes. Most of us don’t have our mistakes broadcast on international television. But the whole world saw Rachel Lindsay choose Bryan Abasolo . They’re still together though, and Rachel’s talking about wedding plans. But … it sounds like she might just elope. Speaking to Us Weekly , Rachel Lindsay gushed about her engagement to Bryan Abasolo and how eager she is to tie the knot. “I’m ready to be married.” Well, it would have been weird for her to go on The Bachelor and then star on The Bachelorette otherwise. “I keep saying winter wedding, which more so with the process of everything is what it’s looking like, but honestly I could elope with Bryan tomorrow.” A winter wedding sounds lovely, right? Elopement sounds … well, it probably sounds a lot easier. And apparently Rachel’s mother agrees. “And it’s so funny because my mom texted me the other day and she goes, ‘Secretly I would love for you to just elope.’” It’s hard to tell if her mother really wants that or if she’s just fatigued at the idea of this huge, expensive wedding. “The family loves him,” Rachel claims. That sounds a little different from what we saw on Hometown Dates, but … okay. “I want good music, good vibes, a lot of family and friends around, and I just want it to be a big reunion, that I know.” That sounds like what most people want for their weddings. “Someone said the other day, ‘What about having the wedding in Colombia?’ and actually that’s a thought that we’re thinking about right now.” What would be the point of a winter wedding if it’s in Columbia? But she’s a Texas girl, and perhaps doesn’t enjoy the cold. “That’s the first time I’ve said that out loud!” Usually , you want your fiance or at least your wedding planner to be the person you tell, not Carly from Us Weekly . No offense to Carly. Rachel Lindsay talks about her friends that she made within the Bachelor Nation. “They’re with me everywhere.” Awww, that’s sweet to imagine. “I’m stuck with them for life.” That … well, we’re sure that she’s joking. She goes on to gush about what it’s like to be engaged to Bryan Abasolo. “Bryan’s romantic every day.” He promised her a fairytale romance, and it sounds like he’s delivering. “He’s always giving me massages, he’s always catering to my needs to the point where I’m like, ‘Hold on. Let me do something for you.’” That sounds like it might be bordering on TMI, but it also sounds very pleasant. “Bryan’s just very sweet. Whenever I need something he’s very attentive to it, so I would say he’s romantic every single day.” She also talks about their disagreements when it comes to children: “I want four kids. Bryan wants three, but he also says it depends on how many we can afford.” We never imagined that we’d say this, but … we’re team Bryan Abasolo. “See, this is what I mean about Bryan, he’s so practical. I’m just like, ‘Give me all the babies. If we can’t have them, we’re adopting.’ So we’ll see.” Let’s see if she still wants four after a few months of infant-induced sleep deprivation. Rachel talks about some more immediate plans that she and Bryan have. “We’re spending Christmas with his family.” Bryan Abasolo has gushed in the past about how much his grandma loves Rachel Lindsay . “We’re gonna be two weeks in Miami. He spent Thanksgiving with my family, so it’s all been so seamless in how it’s all come together.” Well, if you like wasting part of winter in warm climates where the weather takes “winter” as a mere suggestion, Miami sounds lovely. Just not as lovely as Peter Kraus . View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Fans to Rachel Lindsay: Do NOT PICK Bryan Abasolo!

Peter Kraus Might Not Be the Bachelor, Because Everything’s Garbage

Did Peter Kraus being a mature person with a grounded, honest idea of what engagements mean kill his chance to be the Bachelor? Yeah, we know — it’s upsetting to think about. But, unthinkably, it’s starting to look that way. From very early on, Peter Kraus was a clear frontrunner on this last season of The Bachelorette . To the collective horror of most of the Bachelor Nation, Rachel Lindsay chose Bryan Abasolo and left Peter as a weeping mess. What appears to have been the deciding factor for Rachel, despite Peter Kraus’ countless winning qualities, is that Bryan was willing to say exactly what Rachel wanted to hear. Rachel wanted her season to end with a proposal. To Peter, a proposal means a commitment to marry — which is, folks, literally what proposals are — and he would want to continue to get to know Rachel and date her after their season ended. You don’t know someone until you’ve seen them off-camera. To Rachel, though, a delay on the proposal meant an interruption of her carefully imagined plans. It was a dealbreaker. But many began to hope that Peter would go on to have a career within the Bachelor Nation. We talked to you about why Peter Kraus would be the perfect Bachelor . He has a huge fanbase already. He’s charming, he’s handsome. And there’s a reason that we spent an entire post talking about Peter Kraus’ abs, folks . Seriously. Despite the demands by Bachelor Nation members of sense everywhere, however, it looks like the creator of The Bachelor doesn’t think that Peter is the right fit. Mike Fleiss is a producer of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette . He is also the creator of The Bachelor . Just a few hours ago, in possibly the most transparent subtweet that we have seen, ever, in our lives, Mike Fleiss said this: “Do we really want a Bachelor who isn’t ready to settle down with a woman he loves? Hmmm. Not what # thebachelor is all about…” Dude, that is not subtle at all. Peter Kraus has said that he’s undecided about being the Bachelor , but his fans are rooting for him. In the light of Mike Fleiss’ tweet, though, many fans are crushed. We’d like to point out that it isn’t a “hard no.” And also that Fleiss didn’t actually mention Peter Kraus by name at all. (Even though he might as well have just hired a skywriter to spell out Peter’s full name in the heavens) It’s entirely possible that Fleiss is deliberately teasing the Bachelor Nation, or even floating the idea by appearing to reject it. As many fans responded, Peter as a suitor and Peter as the leading man are very different things regarding his willingness to commit. We’ll say this much about the horrible nightmare universe where Peter Kraus isn’t the Bachelor: At least there’s a chance that it could be Dean Unglert. If you’ll recall, Dean Unglert is also a favorite to be the Bachelor . Despite his youth. Unlike with Peter Kraus , even Rachel Lindsay seemed supportive of the idea of Dean taking up the mantle. Dean is a little young, but he’s 26, so … that shouldn’t be a dealbreaker for anyone. He’s also basically universally loved (even by Peter — those two struck up a real friendship) and his dazzling blue eyes can steal anyone’s heart. So, even without Peter, there’s a very real chance that the next season of The Bachelor could be salvaged. But (as Rachel Lindsay is likely to feel in a few years), we’ll always wonder what might have been. View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Fans to Rachel Lindsay: Do NOT PICK Bryan Abasolo!

Rachel Lindsay Defends Response to Peter Kraus’ Bachelorette Bombshell: Editing, People!

As The Bachelorette spoilers predicted, Rachel Lindsay’s final three men all went to Dallas and Spain with her on the penultimate episode. What no one could’ve predicted was the scrutiny Rachel would face for her response to Peter Kraus’ thoughts on (not) getting engaged. Monday’s dramatic ending of The Bachelorette featured none of the three remaining men being eliminated, but Peter dropping a bombshell. Kraus’ doubts about marriage and uncertainty about the engagement that typically comes at the Final Rose ceremony were a shocker. It’s not that anything Peter said in particular was all that shocking, but in the context of The Bachelorette , such candor is unheard of. To make a long story short, Peter told Rachel that he only wants to get engaged once, because he sees marriage as a given after that. Furthermore, he didn’t know if they were there yet as a couple, despite the fact that things are moving very positively in that direction. Sounds reasonable, right? So what’s the problem? Well, if you ask Rachel … the editing is the issue. Lindsay’s response, as seen on ABC, was basically saying that an engagement wasn’t marriage, and that she’s not looking for a boyfriend. Plenty of fans on Twitter immediately questioned why she didn’t think an engagement is akin to marriage, prompting her to reply. Rachel addressed that as such on Twitter: “This was the chopped and screwed version of my response. Obviously engagement means marriage 2 me. It’s all I talk about.” Some people defended her. One said: “I understand what Rachel means she’s not looking for a boyfriend. She wants an engagement with someone who is sure about her.” Watch The Bachelorette Season 13 Episode 9 Online Another Lindsay fan added, “That has to be so frustrating. I couldn’t imagine saying one thing and it being portrayed completely differently.” Anytime anything happens to anyone who doesn’t like it, they always hide behind editing; Rachel may have a legit gripe here, however. Without a doubt, it’s a popular show with a vested interest in keeping viewers hooked, and that was tailor made for a dramatic cliffhanger. As for Peter’s comments, many viewers applauded him for his honesty, and speaking his mind despite it breaking with show tradition. Rachel’s parents seemed skeptical that one can fall in love and commit to marriage after two months, but rarely does a suitor say this. While tons of people gave Peter props, others were suspicious, accusing him of leaving himself an out or “playing the game” with this. There’s talk (largely due to his high school yearbook comment that he would be The Bachelor) that he wants to be the next Bachelor. He may well get to live that dream. Regardless, however, it’s a bit of a stretch to think he choreographed that scene last night just to give himself some more wiggle room. As for whether this dooms Peter’s chances, Rachel wasn’t divulging any Bachelorette spoilers  (follow the link for those if you like). She did Tweet a finale teaser: “I want somebody who wants what I want AND wants it with me… Stay tuned to see who I found that w/ on the finale 2 weeks!” You can bet that we will. The Bachelorette Ending: Accidentally Spoiled by Dean Unglert?

This might be old news to those of you who follow The Bachelorette spoilers , but to most fans of the series, any hint of a spoiler is a huge deal. Remember our heartbreak when Rachel Lindsay bid farewell to Dean Unglert , who totally should have made it to the show’s very end? In a recent interview, it sounds like Dean Unglert, precious cinnamon roll that he is, may have accidentally spilled the beans about the finale.  (Surely, though, he could do nothing wrong.) In an interview that reminds us all that Dean Unglert is probably not going to be the next Bachelor (because the world is a cruel, cruel place and life is torment and we will all succumb to entropy), Dean Unglert let something slip. Because he talks about who he thinks should be the next guy to star on The Bachelor … and possibly reveals Rachel’s ultimate decision. “Hands down, Peter Bachelor 2018.” Whoa, there. You can’t star on The Bachelor after winning The Bachelorette . (Not unless there’s a whole messy sequence of events between those two … now that would be Bachelorette spoilers material.) Because, if Peter Kraus wins The Bachelorette in two weeks’ time, that would mean that he is Rachel Lindsay’s fiance. A man who, therefore, has no business looking for another, different fiancee unless they’re doing a polyamorous approach to the Bachelor Nation. This would seem to imply that Dean knows that Peter Kraus doesn’t win. Bless him, he tries to cover for it. “If that’s possible!” Awwww! He surely knows that it isn’t. “I don’t know if he’s engaged or not. But I would gladly concede to Peter as next Bachelor.” Now, we’re firm believers that Dean Unglert has done nothing wrong, ever, in his life. So we’re not going to be mad at him for “spoiling” this. Peter Kraus and Dean referred to each other as their best friend. They had an epic bromance on that show and we hope that it’s made them friends for life. (Friends that shade Bryan Abasolo together are friends for life) It’s a little hard to see Dean not knowing if Peter is engaged. Peter should win The Bachelorette , as we’ve said before. (Just as Dean should have made it to the very end) But we already know that Peter wouldn’t make it, thanks to this summer’s Bachelor in Paradise shenanigans. Because if Peter Kraus had gotten engaged to Rachel Lindsay, they wouldn’t have sent him to Bachelor in Paradise . But you know what? Dean doesn’t need to have any special knowledge, or even to have kept up with where his very good friend was or was not spotted, to have made this slip. Maybe he just never wanted to imagine that he and his good friend would get torn apart by a woman. (Even a woman as gorgeous as Rachel Lindsay) And, by the way, it looks like Dean and Peter are both on Bachelor in Paradise together. (Only Dean has been announced, but thanks to that spoiler, it looks like they’ll both be on there) We’re so glad that they’re going to get to hang out on camera some more, you know? Hopefully, this time, they won’t both be pursuing the same girl. Like we said, Rachel Lindsay should have picked Peter Kraus. (Even though, sadly, we already know who wins) But, you know, her loss will be someone else’s gain. And if Peter doesn’t get snatched up on Bachelor in Paradise. (Or in real life) Maybe he will be the next Bachelor on The Bachelor . And have Dean cheering him on the whole time. View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Suitors: Meet Rachel Lindsay’s Men!

Brian Gravely: Dating Leah Messer?!

Has Leah Messer found a special new man in her life? If you watch Teen Mom 2 online , you’re well aware that the twice-married mother of three has had a long, turbulent romantic history. One that’s continuing with this handsome dude? “I just love his face!” Leah captioned this image. Indeed, it’s a nice face. One worthy of a heart-eyed and kissing emoji, which she also added along with a tag of the mystery man’s name. Brian Gravely, according to his Instagram account, owns Famous Superstars, a South Carolina-based tumbling and cheerleading school.  Given her daughters’ interest in those activities, it would make sense that Leah Messer might have made his acquaintance somehow. And while she clearly loves him … it’s not like that . Leah took to Twitter to set the record straight about Brian … who had better not be her mystery man, as far as his spouse is concerned! Yes, Brian is already married, and hopefully his husband got a kick out of this as much as the oft-maligned MTV reality star did. Despite being linked to Scotty Ayre this spring, Leah has largely been taking time off from dating to focus on herself and her daughters. That sigh of relief is from all of Teen Mom Nation. The last confirmed romance Messer was in was with T.R. Dues , a personal trainer she met following her divorce from Jeremy Calvert. That union lasted a decently long time, though he was reluctant to appear on her social media accounts, let alone be filmed for MTV. They were rumored to be living together and his two kids were “considered to be a part of Leah’s family,” though things fizzled eventually. The combination of her divorce from Calvert and her custody battle with her first ex-husband, Corey Simms, both led to serious strain. “She wants to look like a stable single mom to the judge in order for her to get her girls back,” a source close to her said at the time.  T.R. Dues may have paid the price for that, as “Leah knows that it doesn’t look good for her to have a new man in the house already.”  Jeremy allegedly had some strong opinions about this setup as well, especially since he shares his only daughter, Adalynn, with Leah. Says another family source: “When mutual friends told Jeremy about this new guy, he called Leah and flipped out for letting a stranger hang around Addie.” Leah initially denied the relationship with Dues, saying that it wasn’t official, only to confess later that something’s going on,” an insider said. As we said, Messer and Dues parted ways before it became a thing – a thing that impacted her custody situation with either ex, anyway. Speaking of Calvert, his own dalliances with Messer after their divorce may have resulted in the end of his subsequent engagement.  In a sneak peek for Teen Mom 2 (the new season of which begins tonight on MTV), we learned that Brooke Wehr read his phone records . He explains to Leah on FaceTime that after this occurred, he “came home to all my sh-t just being everywhere” ’cause Brooke “lost her sh-t.” Gonna be a crazy season.
