Rachel Lindsay as The Bachelorette: First Look!

Rachel Lindsay is ready to meet her men. For real, that is. On her very own TV show, we mean. On Monday night’s After the Final Rose special, Lindsay was surprised to actually shake hands with four of the suitors who will be vying for her heart this spring on The Bachelorette. This unexpected development was a sign of how excited ABC is to present viewers with the first African-American Bachelorette . And now exeuctive producer Mike Fleiss is here to once again prove how psyched the network is for Lindsay to anchor Season 13 of this beloved franchise. On Thursday night, Fleiss live-Tweeted night one of filming, teasing social media followers with photos of lights, cameras, limos and even some “cheesecake and beefcake.” Not to mention Lindsay in the dress she’ll be wearing while making the acquiantence of 25 men. “Let’s do it!!! #TheBachelorette,” Fleiss captioned the above photo, which features Lindsay, Fleiss, Chris Harrison and some other guy. He then went ahead and offered up this sneak peek of Lindsay about to emerge from her fancy car on the premiere: As you can see in the pictures above and below, Lindsay donned a sleeveless white patterned gown for the occasion. She looks beautiful. Elsewhere on Twitter, Fleiss gave fans a look at the 7,500-square-foot Bachelor mansion in Agoura Hills, California. No doubt this will be the scene of many arguments, drunken evenings and debates over who is on the show for the right reasons. “Almost time,” Fleiss simply wrote as a caption to the following photo. Lindsay is a 31-year old attorney from Dallas, who, to be frank, comes across as far more level-headed and normal than most women who have appeared on this series. She has said she regrets putting her professional life before her personal life and is now focused entirely on finding love and settling down. “I think @TheRachLindsay will be one of the Top 3 Bachelorettes of all time. She is wonderful!!! #TheBachelorette,” wrote Fleiss on Thursday night. We were then taken inside the production truck: “15 minutes til limos… #TheBachelorette,” read this caption. For those wondering what sort of food is served along with the champagne on opening night, Fleiss even went ahead and gave us a clue: Delicious food! Yummy food! Very sweet food! “Night One. Cheesecake and beefcake…#TheBachelorette,” he captioned this image: Finally, what would a preview of The Bachelorette be without a look at the suitors themselves? Simply referring to them as “dudes,” Fleiss Tweeted the following photo on Thursday, which is a worth a close look because it features more African-American men than the typical season of The Bachelorette. It’s about time, isn’t it? In February, Lindsay told People Magazine that she’s “at a stage in life where I’m ready for a family, I’m ready to get married.” She added in a separate interview that she’s open to any type of man, saying: “I want a guy who is not afraid of [commitment]. Chloe Lattanzi: Olivia Newton-John’s Daughter Reveals "Disastrous" Boob Job

Chloe Lattanzi is the daughter of beloved actress and former pop star Olivia Newton-John. The 31-year-old model and aspiring singer is making tabloid headlines today thanks to her eye-opening comments about the horrors of plastic surgery gone awry on Tuesday's episode of The Doctors. Lattanzi revealed that she underwent her first cosmetic procedure when she was just 18 – and has regretted it ever since. “All those things were a disaster,” Lattanzi said when asked about the multiple breast implants she received in her teens and early twenties. “Not only did the lip implants look ridiculous, the first boob op I had in Australia when I was 18, left me looking mutilated.” Thirteen years and more than half a million dollars in cosmetic surgery later, Lattanzi says she's finally happy with her appearance. “Now I’m a 32DD and I love my body and love showing my new boobs off,” she said today. “Mom supported my surgery decisions because she knew how unhappy I was before.” Sadly, plastic surgery disasters are not unusual in Hollywood, but they usually become closely-guarded secrets. It's a rare to see a public figure such as Lattanza open up about such nightmarish experiences, and hopefully her candidness will help young people avoid similar misfortunes. These days, Lattanza says she's happier and healthier than ever. She's soon to release an album; she's engaged; and she recently moved to Oregon to open a marijuana dispensary with her fiance. The Bachelor Finale Preview: A Love I’ve Never Felt Before

Vanessa Grimaldi or Raven Gates? The Bachelor spoilers have told us how this epic season ends for months, and soon we'll know for sure. In this season finale preview, however, it looks like Nick Viall was confused, worried and unsure about the decision at hand until the end. After giving roses to Raven and Vanessa and setting Rachel Lindsay free to be The Bachelorette on last night's episode, the end is near. Is Nick still hedging as to who he'll propose to, though? “I came here to find a love that I’ve never felt before and a love that has the strength to last a lifetime,” Viall says in the preview clip. “So now, I feel lucky because I’m so in love.” The only problem, of course, is that he's fallen for two special people and when it comes to The Bachelor winner , there can be only one. One rose, and Neil Lane ring, to rule them all. Nick’s optimism is also dampened by the fact that his previous  Bachelor  franchise experiences with love have ended in heartbreak. Not for the women involved, but for him. “I’m in love with these two women, but I’ve been incredibly terrified because I was very much in love with Andi and Kaitlyn,” he says. “And I was really heartbroken both times.” “And I’m terrified that will happen again.” Viall made back-to-back finales of The Bachelorette only to watch Andi Dorfman (2014) and Kaitlyn Bristowe (2015) chose the other suitor. Part of him is therefore knows he'll be breaking someone's heart imminently, while also wondering if his decision will be the right one. Nick’s fears clearly manifest themselves throughout the final episode, as he brings up these concerns about the women and the process. His family serves as the sounding board. “There’s no denying how confident I was with Andi and Kaitlyn in the moment,” he admits, adding that he's scared about what must be done. “So I think I would be lying if I were to make some grand answer how different this is [or will know] once I make that decision.” “All I have to do is figure out which one I feel in my heart is best for me and I hope and pray that they will feel the same way.” Doesn't make it any easier. Nick adds: “It’s very hard to comprehend how strong I feel for each of these women, but I’m not sure what’s going to happen and I’m running out of time.” Who do you think it will be? Sorry to bring you this disturbing news on what is otherwise a perfectly fine day, but remember that fling that Kourtney Kardashian had with Justin Bieber that one time? Yeah, apparently that’s happening again. And not only is Kourtney allegedly back with Bieber, but she’s also developing feelings. Like, feelings of love. True love. If you think that sounds inconceivable, then yeah, that’s fair. But we’d point out that the idea of Kourtney and Justin hooking up in the first place definitely seemed far-fetched, but it happened. And we all have the mental scars to prove it. They first got together for that little fling of theirs in 2015, a few months after Kourtney broke up with Scott Disick . Their relationship, if you could even call it that, was said to be casual — that they were simply two people who have known each other for a long time and decided to have sex. Justin was something of a rebound for Kourtney, that much was obvious. But now, a little over a year later, Kourtney has found herself decidedly single once again. Scott is in a bad state, going on benders and hooking up with various women in various locales. So it just makes sense that, once again, Justin would swoop in and be there to comfort her. Except this time, things are a little more real. As a source tells Hollywood Life, “Kourtney and Justin have been in constant communication for the past couple of weeks. He’s been like a rock for Kourtney, always calling, texting, checking in on her.” “They started out as just friends with benefits, but Kourtney is now starting to develop real feelings for him.” Gross, right? But it gets worse. “Her sisters are afraid she’s getting in too deep with him,” the source reveals, “but she keeps reassuring them that she’s not a fool and that Justin has been nothing but an amazing friend.” An amazing friend who may be developing into something more, it turns out. Another source adds that “They really connect on a soul level. They get each other and in addition to having explosive chemistry, they can talk for hours on end.” “Plus he makes her laugh and he makes her feel sexy and desired.” Look, Kourtney can do better than Justin Bieber, and that’s just a fact. Kate Upton: Clash of the Sports Illustrated Covers!

As previously reported, Kate Upton has been chosen as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model. Yes, you’ve likely read that sentence before. Because this is the third time Upton has been honored with this special issue’s cover, having flaunted her body for the magazine’s feature photo in 2012 and 2013 as well. Despite being named Rookie of the Year in 2011 by Sports Illustrated editors – following her first set of bikini photos within the publication’s pages – Upton wasn’t very well know five years ago. “If I got the cover, I would be really excited. It would be really amazing,” Kate said while shooting for the 2012 issue, adding at the time: “It’s always what I’ve talked about. I grew up in an American family, so it always was on the coffee table and to be that girl on the magazine on the coffee table would just be really groundbreaking for me.” The dream became a reality shortly after Upton sat down for this interview. And the following 2012 cover launched her into superstardom: A year later, it was off to Antarctica for Upton and her fellow models. “When you think you’re going for a Sports Illustrated shoot, you think beach – sometimes it can be chilly and there’s going to be wind, but when you know you’re going to Antarctica, you know you’re going to be freezing and half naked,” Kate said that year. “And I was very nervous because I grew up in Florida and I don’t do well in the snow when I’m fully dressed.” Upton was anything but fully dressed for this pictorial. Yes, she donned a winter jacket for the occasion. But she didn’t wear a top of any kind! Those enormous breasts were exposed to all the winter elements, not to mention a readership of millions. “This specific shot was on the boat,” Upton explained back then of the cover, adding: “It was the last shot of the round and the gave me coat, which, at the time, I thought was a miracle. At one point, I was sitting on the railing and then came down. “The wind was blowing and they let me put my hood up and who’ve known that would’ve been the cover?” After being featured on a pair of covers, word spread this year that Upton would not pose for SI at all unless she was given yet another cover. We can’t confirm if that diva-like demand actually went down. All we can say for certain is that Upton is, indeed, covering the Swimsuit Edition once again. And we don’t think any guy out there is complaining. So there you have it. Now you’ve ogle Kate Upton bikini photos from 2012, 2013 and 2017. Ivanka Trump Sits at Oval Office Desk, Twitter Loses Its Mind

So at this point, it's very single day that Donald Trump, his administration, and/or his family do something awful, right? He's only been president for a few weeks now, but it feels like a few eternities, at least. For the latest act of absurdity, Ivanka Trump has shared a picture of herself sitting at the desk in the Oval Office while her father and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stand beside her. “A great discussion with two world leaders about the importance of women having a seat at the table!” — that's what she actually wrote for the caption. Ivanka isn't an elected official, and she doesn't even have an official title on Trump's staff. But yeah, sure, she's in on meetings with other leaders and can sit at that desk. Why not, right? But we don't need to tell you why that is ridiculous. Because Twitter as a whole came together to break it down for us all. 1. The Offending Photo Try not to roll your eyes too hard, we’ve still got a lot of stuff to get through and you need to be here for it. 2. The Bachelorette: Why Was Rachel Lindsay Announced Now?

By now you’ve heard The Bachelor spoilers : Rachel Lindsay is The Bachelorette, despite still being in contention for Nick Viall’s heart. On TV, that is. She’s been eliminated by this point, as filming has concluded. We’re just learning about it ahead of time … from ABC.   Therein lies the true “historic” nature of this announcement. Yes, Rachel Lindsay is the first African-American lead in 34 seasons of the reality franchise. That is significant and a very good thing. Giving away the fact that Rachel, a popular contestant this season, is not The Bachelor winner is a surprising and controversial decision. Rachel is still competing on the show, and will go on a hometown date (as will Corinne Olympios, Raven Gates and Vanessa Grimaldi). You can follow the links above to find out, but the assumption that Nick eliminates her after the hometown date isn’t necessarily true. It wouldn’t make a lot of sense if she made the finale now, but she could easily make it to the subsequent overnights following hometowns. For obvious reasons, the next star of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette has never been announced during the current season they’re on. As a result, Chris Harrison has apologized for this spoiler … one most likely necessitated or inspired by The Bachelor spoilers themselves. The third- or fourth-place finisher going on to be the next lead of the franchise is not abnormal. Finding out about it right now definitely is. If you’re hoping for a detailed, truthful answer to why the show’s brain trust went this route, you’re not gonna get it this week, anyway. “I hate that anything was ruined for #BachelorNation but I’m incredibly excited that @therachlindsay is our new #Bachelorette,” Harrison wrote. Notably absent? Any explanation of why. Entertainment Tonight reports that The Bachelorette will begin production sooner than usual, right after Nick’s season wraps on March 13. Producers need to start the process of casting suitors for Lindsay as soon as possible, and need additional time to generate interest? The producers did do this with Emily Maynard, who wasn’t on The Bachelor that season, as a means of getting applicants / fans excited. Perhaps the fact that Rachel has less of a social media presence than Corinne, Raven or others played a role in their decision to spill? Or, maybe it’s as simple as Chris, Mike Fleiss and their associates wanting to get ahead of the story and control it from the beginning. Every season, it’s spoiled. Just not by them. Rachel Lindsay has a fan base, one that is likely to grow in the period between the announcement and when she’s eliminated by Nick. Now that we know she’s The Bachelorette , the producers can craft what we see on and off the show accordingly to boost her popularity. Moreover, it avoids any disappointment by Bachelor fans who might be hoping for Raven or Vanessa to get the job (or Corinne, LOL). Dragging it out increases the possibility of spoilers, rumors and confusion taking away from Rachel’s announcement tour. No longer. As for whether the viewing audience will accept a black Bachelorette , and rumors that this had something to do with the early unveiling? We don’t see it. Some leads are more controversial than others (Nick). Others (cough, Juan Pablo Galavis) have even gone onto be universally despised. Still, The Bachelor and Bachelorette soldier on, and by and large, the biggest stars of both genders are more popular with fans than not. Rachel will be no exception. As Harrison put it, she’s “a smart, strong, independent Texan who loves her @dallascowboys. Rachel Lindsay: I Just Want to Find Love!

Rachel Lindsay understands why so many people are so excited that she's been chosen as the new Bachelorette . She isn't dumb. She isn't blind. And she isn't ignorant. When Season 13 of this ABC franchise kicks off in the spring, Lindsay will become the first African-American to ever anchor either The Bachelorette or The Bachelor . That's pretty cool. That's something to make a big deal over. But it's also something Lindsay sort of hopes stops being the sole focus on everything she does and says over the next several months. “I’m honored to have this opportunity and to represent myself as an African American woman,” she told Michael Strahan on Good Morning America, adding: “I just hope that people rally behind me … and just realize that I’m just trying to find love, and even though I’m an African American woman, it’s no different than any other Bachelorette.” That's not entirely true, however. Lindsay is older than most previous Bachelorette stars at 31 years of age. She's also a lawyer in Dallas and, to be honest, seems far more grounded, intelligent and normal than other women who have appeared on this series. Lindsay was asked, for example, about the pretty terrible track record of long-lasting relationships on the program. And she didn't spout some cliche about love or make it sound like she was determined to find her Prince Charming. She simply replied as follows: “I just like to keep it 100 and keep it real. I figure if I just stay true to myself, it’ll be a successful show.” Forget being the first-ever black Bachelorette. Lindsay sounds like the first-ever sane Bachelorette. Courtney Robertson Courtney was a notorious rule breaker throughout her stint on The Bachelor Season 16. She seemed to think that would win her brownie points with the suitor, but he was not impressed with her. She was booed during the live reunion. 5. Kalon McMahon Referring to Emily Maynard’s daughter as baggage was enough for him to go down as one of the worst people in Bachelor history. 6. Vienne Girardi Vienna felt that taunting the other contestants was the way forward on her season of The Bachelor. She came across as a horrible person, but did not seem to care.
