And it sounds like Schumer would consider the gig under three conditions: MONEY! Back up the Brinks truck, ABC. Mocking how phony each interview with The Bachelorette sounds, Schumer said she would need permission to be herself at all times. Schumer says the “casting process” would need to be changed and no “turds” would be allowed to apply. “I love when it's like, ‘I have five kids at home but I just came here to follow my heart.' It's like maybe go take care of your kids?” she says. “I would keep it very real. This week on The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe faced drama on multiple fronts as the stakes continued to rise for the remaining contestants. Anyway, Kaitlyn promptly dispatched Clint, who got pretty defensive about … JJ. “This isn’t about your relationship with JJ,” Kaitlyn replied. “I’m taking steps back, and you’re not talking about how much you care about me … you’re talking about JJ and how the guys are jealous.” Then, the Bachelorette bromance turned south in a hurry when JJ felt that he had something to get off his chest regarding Clint as well. JJ told his former partner, and we quote: “There’s an emotional energy that gets taken away and as your friend that needs to be said.” A full-on lovers quarrel followed. At least it felt like one. These two men may not have been romantically involved, but emotionally, the way they poured their hearts out in this standoff? Intense! That gay Bachelorette promo tease was pretty lame on ABC’s part, but at least we understand where they got the idea now. Just saying. As Tanner pointed out to us after this unraveled, “I think Clint was more sad to have JJ turn on him than to have Kaitlyn send him home.” Sometimes, breaking up really is hard to do. So much so that Kaitlyn decided against a rose ceremony – such a downer – and brought all the remaining suitors with her to New York. There, producers made Jonathan, Justin, Ben Z., Corey, Ryan, Tanner, JJ and Shawn rap battle with the aid of mentor Doug E. Fresh. At one point, Kait called it “the worst rap battle I’ve ever seen. Meanwhile, Ben H., Ian, Joshua, Chris and Joe had to audition for Aladdin on Broadway, singing “A Whole New World” to Kait. Aladdin is a Disney production, as is ABC. The cross-promotion never stops. On a more positive and random note, Ashley Iaconetti was in the house … oh and so was Nick Viall. Nothing really random about that, though. Nick Viall and Kaitlyn Bristowe , who he was crushing on, had been hollering at each other. Online, that is. Ever since he got dumped by Andi Dorfman, he became smitten with Kaitlyn … or just getting back on TV. Who knows. In any case, Nick was “kinda bugged” by the idea that Kaitlyn might get engaged to someone else, and decided to rejoin the show. “Last season was not really that fun for me,” said Nick, somewhat dubiously as he did get to make love to Andi Dorfman at least once. Just saying, man. It could’ve been worse. Having your heart broken on TV sucks, yes, but at least he made a real impression on a gorgeous, intelligent, well-rounded woman. Would he get the chance for Round 2?! Kaitlyn pondered his request to come aboard, and even asked the guys, who were predictably not thrilled with having to share Bristowe. She gave Nick a kiss, told him she had to sleep on it, then after doing so, obviously told Viall he’s in after getting advice from Ashley S. You know. Crazy girl from last season. Crazy but an actual hairstylist in Brooklyn, at least, who gave Kaitlyn romance advice as well as did her hair for her date with Jared. Talk about multitasking right there. That guy, obviously, was Nick Viall. Last season’s runner-up, who was crushing on Kaitlyn for awhile beforehand, wants in. The guys were against the idea of Nick Viall returning . Shocker. Episode 7: June 29 (6 guys down to 3) Eliminations: Joe Bailey, Jared Haibon, and Chris Strandburg. There are apparently no hometown dates for the top three. Episode 8: July 6 (3 guys down to 2) The overnight dates took place on this episode. Elimination: Ben Higgins. Episode 9: July 13 (“Hometown” Dates) That’s right, only two guys got hometown dates, and they weren’t really hometown dates, as both Nick Viall and Shawn Booth went to Utah for them. Both dudes’ families were flown out, too. What’s not clear is whether there is even a rose ceremony, because the finale isn’t for another two weeks after this installment. Big change of pace. What is clear is that Nick Viall and Shawn Booth are the final two, meaning the former is on the cusp of “fiance type stuff” for the second year in a row. Will his dreams actually come true this time? But the biggest twist of all is yet to come … Pulling the old Brad Womack out of nowhere, Kaitlyn REJECTS BOTH NICK AND SHAWN and leaves the show as single as the day she started! Oh yes. She is a single woman right now. Obviously, there will be doubters and again, The Bachelorette spoilers have been wrong before. But we would wager very heavily that this is the truth . Perhaps the most interesting component to this is the fact that Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops are still dating, while Kaitlyn picks no one. The irony. It will be also fascinating to see the trolls come after her for “leading people on” etc., when in reality, isn’t Kaitlyn doing the opposite by bailing now? You can expect, in any case, Nick, Shawn and Kait to tweet a lot of stuff and tease a lot of details that could be interpreted to mean this is all wrong. Otherwise, why would people even tune in? As for Nick Viall, wow. WOW. Getting dumped on consecutive season finales of The Bachelorette is brutal, and you can expect he won’t take it well. Why was he even allowed to go back on the show after blatantly hollering at Kaitlyn beforehand? Why did he want to so badly? We may never know. The After the Final Rose special where he asks why Kaitlyn made love to him (assuming they did) will make for some high quality TV if nothing else. Seriously, how awkward is that going to be? Such was the case when Andi and Josh broke up about six months after he popped the question on an emotional season finale of the ABC reality hit. Fast forward to this week, when Josh was in the NYC and cozying up to Ashley Iaconetti, who vied for Chris Soules’ heart on The Bachelor this winter. Ashley, along with runner-up Becca Tilley, was one of two contestants openly her virginity and the only one looking like a New Jersey-fied Kim Kardashian . After Josh posted the photo above, his Instagram was besieged by fans weighing in Some were excited about the coupling, most felt it was a diss to Andi. Murray recently commented that he doesn’t miss Dorfman, and it doesn’t feel like they parted ways on the best of terms, so her fans are pretty defensive. However, Ashley tells TMZ that this isn’t what it appears … mostly. Josh Murray did reach out to her about getting together, so there may well be interest there, and they had a good time together that night at the bar. She’s a fan of Josh, but she viewed it as a group date (she brought friends for backup, and clearly others were there as well) and nothing too serious. The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman may have been genuinely heartbroken by her split with Josh Murray, but she’s taking a positive approach to it now. At least she’s able to see the silver lining. How so? Those who heard Josh Murray subtly diss her yesterday, saying he “doesn’t miss” Andi Dorfman and acting like their breakup was no thing, will enjoy this. If Andi had fired back at Josh with some subtle (or not so subtle) shade, no one would have been upset, as he sort of has it coming. But even better: “Downside to being single… Solo Assembly. Upside to being single… Solo closet space! #illtakeit #diy #handyandi?” Andi captioned a pic of her closet. Reading between the lines, it’s like she’s saying that even though she misses having a guy around to help with stuff, it’s time to look on the bright side. Sure, we’re reading into this way too much. Harrison Ford was behind the controls of a small airplane that crash-landed on a Los Angeles golf course today, sources have confirmed to TMZ. But the actor thankfully survived. Ford was piloting what appears to be a vintage two-seater fighter plane earlier today when something went amiss and he plummeted to the grounds of Penmar golf course in Venice, California. After a pair of doctors playing on the course responded to the scene, emergency personnel soon arrived and Ford was transported to a local hospital. It is believed the star suffered numerous gashes to his head and was bleeding at the time of the accident. He was the only person inside the plane. Ford, 72, is a longtime aviator. He has flown a number of planes and helicopters – and he has crashed on multiple occasions in the past. UPDATE : Santa Monica Fire Department has confirmed that Ford remained conscious and alert throughout the ordeal. He may have broken his leg and is now in serious condition. The Federal Aviation Administration told KNBC that the plane crashed shortly after it took off. “The patient was outside of the plane when paramedics arrived at the scene,” a fire official told reporters at a press conference at the golf course following the accident.
Amelia Shepherd tried her best go to “The Distance” on Grey’s Anatomy Season 11 Episode 14 . She operated on Dr. Herman’s tumor. Again and again and again and again. We opened the hour with Amelia crying out some anxiety in the bathroom before her voiceover told us how a surgeon must “always be prepared to lose, but never fail.” She steeled herself for the long procedure to come, taking on a superhero persona with Stephanie prior to cutting Herman open. With her colleagues watching from the gallery, Amelia quickly realized just how daunting this would be. In time, she literally froze, getting trapped inside Herman’s head, unable to move without snipping out a vital part of her brain (Editor’s Note: We could never be brain surgeons.) Panicked, Amelia pleased with Richard to get Richard on a plane. STAT. But Richard remain calm, kept Amelia calm and helped her clear the optic nerve. After Stephanie collapsed from exhaustion (around the 13-hour mark), Meredith scrubbed in and Amelia learned just how tough it was to work while wearing thick gloves to protect her from radiation. So, to Owen’s horror as you’ll see when you watch Grey’s Anatomy online , she took the gloves off, making the procedure easier… but also risking disease and cutting her exposure time in half. But she forged on and succeeded! When Stephanie woke up, Amelia let her close up the patient’s head and then sank into an emotional heap on the hallway floor. Elsewhere, Miranda was concerned over Arizona taking over the complicated case of Glenda. But Robbins stood up to Bailey, delivering the baby and saving the mother’s life. Afterward, Arizona broke down when Callie came in with an update on her mentor. Finally, with Arizona by her side, Herman awoke. She seemed like herself… except she was completely blind. Still, she made a point of telling Arizona that she was alive solely due to her persistence. She had picked the right horse and she knew it.
