Visit msnbc.com for breaking news , world news , and news about the economy This is hilarious to me. I don’t know Dov Charney but he is from Montreal and a few years ago he called me a 3 in the morning asking me to re-program google. I am not joking. He was in his Montreal apartment with one of his young staffers and I could hear her giggling in the background. I don’t think she was 18, but that’s legal here so who fucking cares… What I do know is that these young cunts who work for him think he’s a god and throw themselves at him, he’s just a pervert like every one of you, and has the ablity to talk dirty in his own work environment, because it’s the empire he created and being a fucking ego came the ability to say what he wants to in his own workspace, but laws don’t let that happen… I’ve seen these young girls who think he’s a fucking celebrity, a hero, and they all fight for attention while he laughs at which minimum wage employee to take home with him to “model” for the night…and this is in every city he has a store in…The whole thing pretty fucking amazing… Until you fire a bitch, or get one groupie cunt who has remorse for being the slut she is, cuz it’s convenient to get on TV or money…. Hey, I’m not saying what he does is right, but no one shits on rockstars for fucking their groupies, and unfortunately that’s just what these hipster poser bitches are…the mistake is that he had them on payroll, and if I was him, I would have paid them on contract…cuz that way you can’t get sued for sexual harassment idiot…they are freelancers…get with the abuse program if you’re an abuser is what I always say…. They all just want Dov’s stamp of approval…until better opportunity or people to groupie come along…and based on the look of this girl, Dov shoulda chose a hotter one to get publicly outted for. I wonder if Ben from Ben and Jerry’s has the same issues when he visits his stores around the country… Follow Me

Panic! At The Disco’s Vices & Virtues: Fever Dreams, New Perspectives

We preview the band’s third album, which recalls their Fever heyday and pushes past Pretty. Odd., in Bigger Than the Sound. Panic! at the Disco Photo: Jennifer Tzar/ Atlantic Records Just who, at this point in their career, after a breakout album, a benign follow-up, and a near breakup, are Panic! at the Disco? Are they the frilly dramaturges made famous by A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out ? The stony, California-dreamin’ canyon children that showed up on Pretty. Odd. ? Or, with the release of their third album, Vices & Virtues (due March 22), have they transformed themselves once again? Well, yes to the latter. And no. Because while Vices sees Panic! physically changed (it’s their first album since the departure of guitarist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker, it is very much an album that harks back to their halcyon days. A whirling, whooshing thing that’s long on dramatics — trilling strings, chittering electronics, Haunted Mansion histrionics — and short on pretty much everything from their Pretty. Odd. period. That’s not entirely true, of course. The second half of Vices is highlighted by a pair of songs — the hazy acoustic number “Always” and the herky-jerky “Sarah Smiles” (no relation to the Hall & Oates tune of nearly the same name) — that recall some of Odd. ‘s finer moments. But for the most part, it feels very much like the logical successor to Fever, almost as if their underappreciated sophomore album never happened. That’s probably to be expected … after all, Panic’s remaining two members, Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith have made no bones about the fact that Vices represents “a new band … [and] a new start,” and freed from songwriter Ross’ whims, they’ve made the album unquestionably their own. But just what does their version of Panic! at the Disco entail? Well, if you’ve heard first single “The Ballad of Mona Lisa,” you have a pretty good idea. That song not only kicks off the album, but it serves as a blueprint for pretty much everything Panic! 3.0: namely, an absolute corker of a chorus surrounded by various fantasyland accoutrements. Vices & Virtues is loaded with chippy Casio beats, handclaps, stirring strings, crunchy guitars, blaring horns, chiming bells and an assortment of things that go bump in the night. Urie and Smith told me with much pride that, aside from the horns, they pretty much played everything on the disc, which not only lends credence to their dedication, but also sort of tips their hand: The strategy this time out is clear — more is most definitely more. Because over 10 quick tracks, there’s not a studio trick Panic don’t employ, an instrument they don’t fit in. One can imagine the pure glee Urie and Smith must’ve had making the thing, like kids left to their own devices in a sonic candy shop. Of course, that freedom works both to their benefit and their detriment. Songs like “Let’s Kill Tonight” and album-closer “Nearly Witches (Ever Since We Met)” pile on the strings and spooky sound effects (and the choirs and Jeff Lynne vocal harmonies), yet still remain lithe, thanks in no small part to Urie’s vocal theatrics and Smith’s steady hand. But bursting-at-the-seams tracks like “Memories,” which starts out as a widescreen Killers tribute but morphs into an arabesque exercise in excess, and “The Calendar,” which dabbles in Lite FM R&B, feel strangely leaden, something that even the heaviest Fever tunes managed to avoid. But really, those are the only two missteps that warrant attention. And that, in and of itself, is a minor accomplishment. Vices is at its very core a studio album, one stuffed with ideas and instrumentation, which not only positions Panic! as perhaps this generation’s Brian-Wilsons-on-a-budget, but serves as a solid starting point for wherever Urie and Smith choose to go from here. It’s not exactly new, not exactly old, but it’s definitely something. Call it a fresh start, a return to form, a re-imaging of the past, just don’t call it Pretty. Odd. because that ship has sailed. Panic! are back to their old tricks, exclamation point and all … and perhaps that was the secret ingredient all along. Because if there’s one thing Vices & Virtues is, it’s exuberant. If you’re not excited, you should be. What do you want to hear from Panic! on their new album? Tell us in the comments! Related Videos MTV News Extended Play: Panic! At The Disco

‘Beastly’ Star Vanessa Hudgens Talks Falling For Bad Boys

‘A lot of girls look up to guys who embody that,’ she tells MTV News of her character’s questionable taste in guys. By Kara Warner Photo: CBS Films As we’ve learned from promos and teaser trailers for “Beastly,” the movie is a modern take on the classic fairy tale “Beauty and the Beast.” Co-starring Vanessa Hudgens and “I Am Number Four” leading man Alex Pettyfer , the basic premise is the same, but there’s a key difference in this long-delayed adaptation. In “Beastly,” Hudgens’ character, Lindy, is a high-schooler operating on the outskirts of the cool crowd when she develops an attraction to Pettyfer’s bad boy, Kyle, who has yet to have his movie-star looks marred by any spells. When MTV News caught up with the “High School Musical” star recently, we asked what she thought about her character’s attraction to the proverbial bad boy. “I feel like a lot of girls think it’s easier to go under the radar, to not really stand up and let their true selves be known,” Hudgens explained about Lindy’s desire to stay in the background. “And I feel like when that happens, a lot of girls look up to guys who embody that, who are just truly out there and, of course, my character falls for that, as a lot of other girls would,” she said. Hudgens went on to say that while the “opposites attract” idea initially draws Lindy to the school’s most popular guy, she senses that there’s more to him and eventually connects to Kyle’s softer side. “Slowly, she falls in love with him, not for his appearance, which I think is the most beautiful part of it,” she said. “Beastly” hits theaters on Friday. Katrina Bowden Leaves Me Speechless

Here’s Katrina Bowden on the red carpet at some event the other night. Seriously? This is what I’ve got to write about today? I love the chick at all, but she’s basically an extra on 30 Rock . It’s alright, I can do this. Here she is wearing a nice little purple dress and… I’ve got nothing. At least if she was in those little booty shorts she always wears, while she walks around in the background of a very popular NBC sitcom, I’d have something to look at while I waste everyone’s time typing in enough letters to fill an adequate amount of space so that my boss thinks I wrote a whole paragraph about this garbage. That should do it. Enjoy.

Hate It Or Love It: This Breezy’s New Album Cover

Here’s what Chris Brown and two other brains came up with for the cover of his new album F.A.M.E., due out at the end of next month. In the background, behind Chris’ giant dome is a mural he worked on with graffiti artist Kid Zoom and painter Ron English. And if you notice, even though the album’s acronym of a name now stands for “Fans Are My Everything,” you can still see the title’s old meaning “Forgiving All My Enemies” all over the mural. Also included in the visual: a little kid at war, a boxing baby, and a newborn in a HAZMAT suit? Are you feeling it?

Britney Spears’ Tenth ‘Hold It Against Me’ Preview Packed With Technology

Beauty shots of television monitors marks four more days until video premiere. By Mawuse Ziegbe Photo: Jive There are just four more days until Britney Spears ‘ “Hold It Against Me” premieres, and the pop supernova continues to keep the suspense high. After doling out super-short snippets of the visual to her latest dance floor-filler for over a week, the preview she gifted fans on Sunday (February 13), doesn’t feature a flash of her toned legs, or a scene where she and her dancers prepare to bust out some heart-racing choreography, but her presence is felt. In the tenth, slickly produced teaser, a lofty chamber dotted with monitors looping many of her old videos takes center stage, as the bass from her insta-smash throbs in the background. The seconds-long teasers will culminate in the premiere of the entire video, which goes down on MTV on Thursday at 9:56 p.m. ET, just before a brand new episode of “Jersey Shore.” The video, which is the first single from her upcoming Femme Fatale LP, will also simultaneously premiere on MTV.com. According to the video’s choreographer, enduring days of teasers will be worth the wait. Dancer Brian Friedman recently assured MTV News that Spears is “definitely setting the bar” with “Hold It Against Me.” “She’s showing that you have to push it as an artist: that you can’t just settle, that you can’t be calm with your choreography, that you have to make a statement,” he said. “There’s so many people out there competing in this world to be the queen of pop, and she’s definitely claiming her throne.” Even with a top-flight track record of memorable clips, Friedman maintained that “Hold It Against Me” will be game-changing. “Artistically, this video I think surpasses a lot of her other videos,” he teased. “So many of her videos are iconic, though. You look at ‘Toxic’ and you look at ‘Slave,’ even ‘Oops … I Did It Again’: People are gonna remember those videos forever. [In] ‘… Baby One More Time,’ she made school-girl outfits relevant and so popular. This video is artistically a masterpiece, and I don’t think that Britney has pushed the envelope in this way ever in any of her videos.” What do you think the rest of Britney’s video will look like?
