Drake Feels Used By India Love We’re getting a clearer idea of why Drake raps about why he shouldn’t have to F “For Free.” As we previously reported, Drake wants to completely wash his hands of any i nvolvement with Instagram model and reality star India Love Westbrooks especially after her sister Crystal put their “situationship” on full blizzy. Crystal has since apologized to her little sister, but inside sources tell BOSSIP that Drake is the real victim in the situation. “He never intended for things to go anywhere with that girl,” a source close to the rapper told BOSSIP. “It was supposed to just be a sex thing, and he feels like she wanted it to get out on the blogs so that she could get more attention.” It definitely doesn’t seem like the Cali native ever intended on keeping their private business private. India Love posted several social media messages related to the rapper, even going so far as to include mugs embossed with his signature owl logo in one photo that also incorporated some of his lyrics. Friends says the rapper is actually livid at the public association because he never entertained any notion of having a real relationship with the Instagram model. “It was never meant to go any further than sex,” one insider told BOSSIP. According to the source, Drake wants nothing further to do with India Love and reportedly told friends, “I can’t do nothing for that little girl.” A second source tells BOSSIP that India Love was “definitely looking for a come up” when she encountered the rapper. “She basically just wants to be taken care of. She’s trying to find a high profile guy who will pay the bills so she can live well and floss on social media.” It turns out that guy may be India Love’s current boo, UCLA football player Ron Robinson. “Ron was paying her bills before,” the other source alleged to BOSSIP. “He put her up in an apartment in L.A. for 3 or four months, but they broke up and he moved out and stopped paying rent. She had to move back home with her parents.” Ouch. But luckily for India Love her timeout didn’t last long. “It kinda seems like she used Drake to make her ex [Robinson] jealous,” the second source said of India Love. “He saw her with Drake and decided to take her back.” Hmmmm. Funny how that happens. If y’all saw your ex with a more famous person — would you even WANT them back? Lucky for her, we guess. In the meantime, we’re guessing Drake is having to do some serious work work work work work work, to get back in Rihanna’s good graces. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Resented People Expecting Her To Be Grateful To Beyoncé Several years have passed since Beyoncé released the self-titled album which exposed millions of fans to her newfound feminine side, a side best reflected in the song “Flawless” which included excerpts from accomplished author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s TED Talk “We Should All Be Feminists.” After years of declining to speak on her inclusion, Ngozi Adichie recently revealed her feelings about her work being included on the Beyoncé album. In an interview with Volkskrant at the Brainwash Festival in Amsterdam Ngozi Adichie confirms that she was onboard — at least at first: ‘In the first place: of course Beyoncé asked permission to use my texts, and I did give her permission. I think she’s lovely and I am convinced that she has nothing but the best intentions. In addition, Beyoncé is a celebrity of the first order and with this song she has reached many people who would otherwise probably never have heard the word feminism, let alone gone out and buy my essay.’ ‘But I was shocked about how many requests for an interview I received when that song was released. Literally every major newspaper in the world wanted to speak with me about Beyoncé. I felt such a resentment (laughs loudly). I thought: are books really that unimportant to you? Another thing I hated was that I read everywhere: now people finally know her, thanks to Beyoncé, or: she must be very grateful. I found that disappointing. I thought: I am a writer and I have been for some time and I refuse to perform in this charade that is now apparently expected of me: “Thanks to Beyoncé, my life will never be the same again.” That’s why it didn’t speak about it much.’ Zaaaayuuuuuum girl. But that has to be annoying to work your butt off so hard and then have Beyoncé get all the credit like she discovered you. Still it does seem like Bey did kinda sorta change her life — nah? Ngozi Adichie takes her comments a step further to differentiate how her brand of feminism is MUCH different than Beyoncé’s: ‘Her style is not my style, but I do find it interesting that she takes a stand in political and social issues, since a few years. She portrays a woman who is in charge of her own destiny, who does her own thing, and she has girl power. I am very taken with that.’ ‘Still, her type of feminism is not mine, as it is the kind that, at the same time, gives quite a lot of space to the necessity of men. I think men are lovely, but I don’t think that women should relate everything they do to men: did he hurt me, do I forgive him, did he put a ring on my finger? We women are so conditioned to relate everything to men. Put a group of women together and the conversation will eventually be about men. Put a group of men together and they will not talk about women at all, they will just talk about their own stuff. We women should spend about 20 per cent of our time on men, because it’s fun, but otherwise we should also be talking about our own stuff.’ Ngozi Adichie actually seems to have a lot of nice things to say about Beyoncé we just wonder how the Beehive will receive some of the less positive things. The songstress posed for Dennis Leupold photos in the mag and gushed about her wedding to Russell Wilson and spoke on her son Future Zahir. According to CiCi, who may or may not already pregnant right now , her favorite marriage memory was a “fairy tale”… I definitely can say it was two of the most perfect days in my life. The day before and the day of the actual wedding was a special time. When we get married, we only get it once, you can’t repeat it. So, it was like, man, it’s over already? It was honestly so beautiful and I really felt like I was in a fairy tale. It was everything I hoped for. Everything I could have hoped for, dreamed of, happened on that day. It was memorable. We spent two days with all the people that we love, your family and your close friends. I’m definitely still floating, it’s only three months ago and it’s crazy how time goes by. and the best thing about motherhood is seeing her baby boy smile. Motherhood, oh my gosh, it’s one of the best jobs in life. My family, my son and my husband, those are the things that keep me grounded and centered and there’s no better feeling than coming back and seeing him smile after a long day. You put him in a bath, you put him in bed, read a book, those moments are great to end the day and keeps life in perspective because all your child wants from you is love. They don’t care about a lot of the things we care about anyway. Being a mom is part of what motivates me in my every day life. She also dished on her modeling contract with IMG Models…. I’ve been fortunate over the years; I’ve had really cool collaborations and been part of cool campaigns. I’ve been blessed to have friends that I’ve met in the fashion world. It’s been an inspiring adventure. The exciting thing about the partnership with IMG is that I can. The ultimate goal is to do more. As an entertainer, fashion and music go hand in hand. There’s no one better than IMG to do that. I want to pose more in fashion shoots and do more cool fashion partnerships. and revealed that she hopes to one day have her own clothing line. Absolutely. It’s always been my intention to have my own clothing line. That’s one of my goals.
