Bangers: New Guess Holiday Ads To Feature Bollywood Brown Bombshell Priyanka Chopra

Bye bye blondes… A former Miss World and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is the newest face of Guess — a brand known for employing busty blondes like Anna Nicole Smith and Claudia Schiffer is welcoming it’s first Indian face into the fold. Here’s more info on her via the NY Daily News : The international ready-to-wear brand chose Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, named Miss World in 2000, as the face of its Guess Holiday 2013 campaign. The shapely brunette posed for the Canadian musician-turned-photographer Bryan Adams in a Mediterranean style villa. The black and white photos reveal Chopra’s natural beauty and glamour, as she wears a selection of dresses from the latest Guess Holiday collection. “Priyanka’s confidence, strength and sensuality reflect the qualities I always look for in a model. Priyanka reminds me of the young Sophia Loren and the top actresses of the 1950s,” said Guess Creative Director Paul Marciano. Voted Miss India and then Miss World when she was just 17 years old, Priyanka Chopra quickly became a household name in India and one of Bollywood’s most in-demand actresses. After becoming the first Guess brand ambassador of Indian descent, she will soon release an album of English-language pop songs. Well, the curry sure is hot! Priyanka is definitely a certified banger, but we can’t recall Guess using a black model in their ads before either (correct us if we mis-remember) and it’s about time for that too! Chick-Fil-A Customer Opens Fire After Car Cuts In Line At Drive-Thru Via RawStory reports: Authorities in Florida are searching for a suspect who opened fire after someone cut in front of him at a Jacksonville Chick-fil-A drive-thru. According to First Coast News, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the restaurant at around 9:25 a.m. Monday morning and found that the victim’s car had been struck by at least one bullet in the driver’s side of the rear window. Investigators said that the victim had attempted to drive around an older brown Buick Regal which appeared to be stalled in the drive-thru line when the suspect got out of the passenger’s side of the car and began cursing. The suspect took out a black semi-automatic handgun, fired one or more rounds and then fled on foot. The driver of the brown Buick Regal drove off after the suspect. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for an African-American male, about 5’10″ and 150 pounds. He was described as having a “low haircut” and last wearing a purple jacket and faded blue jeans. Watch this video from WTEV, broadcast Nov. 4, 2013.
