“CSI” Gary Dourdan filed papers on August 30th — and according to the docs, has a little over $1.8 mil in assets … but is in the hole to his creditors to the tune of $1.73 mil. A large chunk of that debt — $1,689,704 million — is owed to various banks, including Union Bank, which apparently holds the mortgage on his home that may be in default. As for his assets — $200 cash, $3k in a bank account, $4k in furniture, $200 worth of books, $1,500 in clothes, $500 in watches … oh and a 2006

Remember Danielle Staub? No? That pretty much sums up the former reality star’s financial woes. The ex- Real Housewives of New Jersey star – who once bragged about her Black American Express Card- has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, ironically listing American Express as one of her 35 creditors. Staub reportedly owes between $500,000 and $1,000,000, the same amount listed as her assets, according to her court petition. Since exiting the Bravo franchise, Danielle has unsuccessfully tried to capitalize on her fame, from charging money to speak to idiots on the phone to stripping at Scores in New York City. It’s shocking no one turned out to pay money for the latter, isn’t it? Other creditors listed on the bankruptcy petition include: the Internal Revenue Service, the State of New Jersey Division of Taxation, PSE&G and nine law firms, along with the Township of Wayne, where Staub resided during her stint on the show. Maybe she was too busy chasing waterfalls? The checks have stopped coming in for T-Boz but the creditors are free to keep coming after her because the judge overseeing her bankruptcy case has decided she’s not doing her part. According to TMZ reports : The judge in T-Boz’ bankruptcy case has turned his back on the ex-TLC singer — refusing to provide ANY protection against her army of creditors … but according to court docs, it’s the singer’s own fault. TMZ broke the story … T-Boz filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy in October — claiming she owed $768,642.99 to multiple creditors — but last week, the judge kicked her out of bankruptcy court. According to the court docs, the case was dismissed because T-Boz — real name Tionne Watkins — completely dropped the ball dealing with her affairs, failing to make any attempts to pay off her debts, appear at a creditors’ meeting, or … not be a scrub in general. As a result, the judge ended the bankruptcy case – giving T-Boz’ creditors free reign to go after her whatever assets she has. The creditors are free to pursue T-Boz until the singer files for bankruptcy again — but she can’t re-file til the end of July … 180 days after the original case was dismissed. Calls to T-Boz’ reps were not returned. More On Bossip! Damn shame that “a picture is worth a thousand words” and not dollars ! Eastman Kodak Co. filed for bankruptcy protection early Thursday morning, after the film pioneer failed to raise fresh cash to fund a long-sputtering turnaround, The Wall Street Journal reported. The 131-year-old company struggled for decades to cope with the emergence of competitors in its film business and the rise of digital technology. But its final pivot — an attempt to transform itself into a company selling printers — proved too costly amid declining film sales and expensive obligations to its retirees. The company said in a statement it has obtained “a fully-committed, $950 million debtor-in-possession credit facility with an 18-month maturity from Citigroup to enhance liquidity and working capital.” It said it believes it has “sufficient liquidity” to continue business operations during Chapter 11. “Kodak is taking a significant step toward enabling our enterprise to complete its transformation,” Kodak CEO Antonio Perez said in a statement. “Chapter 11 gives us the best opportunities to maximize the value in two critical parts of our technology portfolio: our digital capture patents … and our breakthrough printing and deposition technologies, which give Kodak a competitive advantage in our growing digital businesses.” Perez pointed out the fact that the company has effectively moved away from its traditional film operations, “closing 13 manufacturing plants and 130 processing labs, and reducing our workforce by 47,000 since 2003.” “Now we must complete the transformation by further addressing our cost structure and effectively monetizing non-core IP assets,” he said. “We look forward to working with our stakeholders to emerge a lean, world-class, digital imaging and materials science company.” The statement said that the Rochester-based company expects to pay employee wages and benefits and continue customer programs. Subsidiaries of the company outside the US will not be affected by the bankruptcy filing. The voluntary petitions for Chapter 11 business reorganization were filed in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The filing came as little surprise, with The Wall Street Journal reporting ahead of the announcement that the company was appointing a chief restructuring officer in anticipation of bankruptcy. Shares of Kodak ended Wednesday trading up 4.4 percent at 55 cents, but have fallen 14.6 percent during January, and almost 90 percent over the past 12 months, according to Fact Set data, MarketWatch reported. Eastman Kodak last week unveiled a new, streamlined business structure aimed at increasing productivity, cutting costs and boosting the troubled company’s digital business. Under the new structure, Kodak reduced its number of segments from three to two — the Commercial Segment and Consumer Segment. Kodak previously had three operating units: the graphic communications group, which provided digital equipment and software to printing industries; the consumer digital imaging group, which focused on print images; and film, photofinishing and entertainment. Kodak listed assets of $5.1 billion and debt of $6.8 billion in the bankruptcy filing. We hope they’re able to recover. It would be a shame to lose a pioneering company like Kodak. TLC singer T-Boz has filed for bankruptcy. According to TMZ , T-Boz aka Tionne Watkins filed for bankruptcy last month and currently owes collectors $768,642, mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house. T-Boz is not a big spender as she takes in $11,700 a month in income, with monthly expenses totaling $8,821. She might have dodged the bankruptcy bullet if she’d been able to collect the child support she claims she’s owed — which according to the docs is $250,000. Things have not been easy for the singer recently, she’s battling Sickle Cell Anemia, along with discovering that she had a brain tumor that she’d been battling for three years. Hope things get better for her. TLC, Beyonce, Lady Gaga & Jennifer Lopez Perform on American Idol Season Finale [VIDEO] Drake Pays Tribute To TLC On “I Get Lonely Too” [AUDIO]
We’re sure someone can help her. What about her friends??? According to TMZ reports : T-Boz ain’t too proud to beg — just like TLC sang back in the 90s — because she’s filed for bankruptcy. According to docs filed last month in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, T-Boz (real name Tionne Watkins) found herself owing creditors $768,642.99 — mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house. The docs don’t paint a picture of exorbitant spending — she takes in $11,700/month in income, with monthly expenses totaling $8,821. TLC had ten top ten singles, four number one singles, four multi-platinum albums, and four Grammy Awards … but according to the docs, T-Boz only pulls in $1,200/month in royalties. T-Boz might have dodged the bankruptcy bullet if she’d been able to collect the child support she claims she’s owed — which according to the docs is $250,000. Calls to her attorney were not returned. All jokes aside, we hope that T-Boz is able to get her money situation under control. It’s always sad to see someone who had so much success be under financial duress. More On Bossip!
