The creator of the Lammily doll has updated his product. Artist and researcher Nickolay Lamm made headlines last year when he came out with a “normal” version of this famous item, one with a thicker waist, cellulite and freckles . The goal at the time, according to Lamm, was to present young women with a more realistic model of themselves. Now, kids can purchase a Period Party accessory pack for their non-Barbie in order to learn about menstruation. The “Period Party” includes pad and liner stickers meant to fit in doll-sized underwear (also included), along with a calendar and dot stickers to keep track of a menstruation cycle. “On average, a woman between the ages of 12 and 51 spends a total of six years on her menstrual period, yet, while being a huge part of female life, this perfectly healthy, natural process is still surrounded by taboos,” reads the pamphlet that also comes with this pack. Lamm is aiming to get rid of the stigma often attached to menstruation. “Let's start an open and positive conversation about our periods,” adds the pamphlet. “Learn the facts. Debunk the myths. Celebrate life!”

Of the two women she’s comparing, one is extremely well educated, independent, and a borderline historical figure in her own regard. Should she choose to live apart from her cheating spouse, in the wake of his infidelity or for any reason, she could very easily do so. The other was homeschooled in a very religious household until age 16 and received no further education, then married very young. She married into a family who believes that a woman is meant to have as many children as their uteruses will allow, and serve their man. Her husband also strayed. A lot. But with no education, no job and four kids, she’s in a tougher spot than her maligned wife counterpart. Seems like a common sense list of factual statements, right? Not to Bristol, who believes anyone who laments Anna’s position but not Hillary’s is a total hypocrite and automatically against Christianity. Morrissey Claims Obama Hasn’t Helped His Own People The poor President is out here being called an oreo SMH. Via NY Daily News reports : Morrissey thinks President Obama is a white guy who has never come out. The sharp-tongued Smiths frontman said Obama is “white inside” and trashed the President’s handling of racial tensions in his first video interview in nearly a decade. Speaking Wednesday to Larry King on his Web series , Morrissey took easy bait to bash Obama’s record. “I think he’s disappointed lots of people because I don’t think in cases like Ferguson that he’s helped his own people,” the “Bigmouth Strikes Again” singer said. Pressed on what the President could have done, Morrissey casually suggested: “By being more interested, and forgetting about the police machinery all the time and constantly saying the police are always right and we must listen to the police. Everyone knows that’s not true. So Obama, is he white inside, that’s a very logical question, but I think he probably is.” Morrissey isn’t the first person to say stuff like this. The President has faced similar criticism from Jesse Jackson and Cornel West.

The White House has been active in the music industry. In addition to its new Spotify channel, top-notch artists have performed at The White House in Performance series.
