We finally have an answer to the age old question: What happens when a British journalist runs into television legend Henry Winkler on the street? That’s what went down this week when BBC reporter James Landale went around asking locals how they felt about plans to possibly expand Heathrow Airport… only to become tongue-tied when a pedestrian turned out to be The Fonz himself! Watch now as Landale tries to get his questions out and as Winkler comes across as calm and as kind as we’d expect him to be. Hawaii Official Who Verified Obama Birth Certificate Dies in Crash, Donald Trump Alleges Conspiracy

Loretta Fuddy, the director of Hawaii’s Department of Health who verified President Obama’s birth certificate, died in a small plane crash this week. A commercial plane carrying Fuddy went down off the coast of the Hawaiian island Molokai Wednesday. The respected state health official was 65. Fuddy is best known nationally as the Hawaii official who verified and approved the public release of Barack Obama’s birth certificate in 2011. Loretta Fuddy, Hawaii Official Who Verified Obama Birth Certificate, Dies Fuddy said the documents “prove the fact that he was born in Hawaii.” Naturally, birthers weren’t about to let her tragic death pass without mockery. Early reports indicate that the plane she was in suffered catastrophic engine failure, and that the other eight passengers on board were rescued. Naturally, many Tweets, comments, and web posts from the “movement” quickly insinuated that Fuddy’s death in the Cessna crash was no accident. Some implied that the White House was “tying up loose ends,” or that those with ties to Obama’s past tend to have a “shortened life span.” And, of course, the King of the Birthers, Donald Trump, weighed in: Wow. You keep it classy, Donald. Just keep doing your thing. Trump aside, her life and successes are being celebrated. A new report by the United Health Foundation, American Public Health Association and the Partnership for Prevention, confirmed that Hawaii is the healthiest state. Hawaii House Speaker Joe Souki said Fuddy “was especially passionate about the most vulnerable in our communities, a champion for mothers, newborns, and early childhood care.” Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie said “Loretta was deeply loved and respected. She was selfless, utterly dedicated, and committed to her colleagues and to the people of Hawaii.” “Her knowledge was vast,” the governor added, while “her counsel and advice always given from her heart as much as from her storehouse of experience.” R.I.P.

Miley Cyrus on Instagram: Free the Nipple!

Considering how she rode around on a Wrecking Ball in her birthday suit, it’s rather obvious at this point: Miley Cyrus has no problem with nudity. In fact, the singer wants to see even more nudity out there, and she’s joined a grassroots movement that takes issue with the problems other people have in this regard. The 21-year old posted an Instagram photo yesterday of herself holding a rubber nipple, giving a shout-out to the Free the Nipple campaign, which says on its Facebook page that it aims to “decriminalize the female body.” It also wants to “protest the backwards censorship laws in the US” and takes issue with the media’s glorification of violence, asking: What is more obscene nudity or violence? Last month, Miley told a BBC program that she believes men are held to a different standard than women and expressed frustration over the flak she’s received. “Guys get to show their titties on the beach, why can’t we,” she asked. “I don’t understand the double standard of life.” Neither do we, Miles. And if this new campaign helps produce a few more instances of Kate Upton nude , we only have one question: Where do we sign up?!?!??!?!?

John Tavener Dies; British Composer Was 69

Sir John Tavener, one of the leading British composers of the past 50 years and a man whose music drew deeply on spirituality, has died at the age of 69. He died at his home in Child Okeford, Dorset, UK today, having been in poor health for much of his life, including a major heart attack in 2007. Fellow composer John Rutter told BBC Radio 3 that his colleague was one of a kind. Sir John “was absolutely touched by genius at every point.” “He could bring an audience to a deep silence which is a very rare gift,” Rutter said. “He believed that music was for everybody and was a prayer.” In 1992, The Protecting Veil topped the classical charts for several months and in 1997 his Song For Athene was played at the funeral of Princess Diana. His setting of William Blake’s The Lamb and A New Beginning was chosen to see in a new century at the end of 1999 in the Millennium Dome in London. Sir John Tavener first made his name with the avant-garde oratorio The Whale, which was released by The Beatles on their Apple label in 1968. He went on to become one of the few contemporary composers to find wide acclaim beyond the classical world, a feat becoming ever more rare. For his contributions to the genre, he was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize twice – in 1992 and 1997 – and was formally knighted in 2000.

Miley Cyrus In Sexy Shiny Pants!

Here’s Miley Cyrus heading to BBC Radio wearing shiny pants. I know there are a bunch of you guys who are into chicks that wear latex or PVC because I’m one of them freakos who check out those fetish boards looking for this crap. Anyway, I think pants like this should be the new leggings. Now if only a smart designer could figure a way to make them breath so that girls can wear them while working out and not get stinky, I’d finally be inspired to get myself a gym membership.

The Pixie Lott Leg Show

So it was the BBC Radio One Teen Awards in London the other day, but I probably don’t have to tell you guys that, since I’m guessing you’ve all had it circled on your calendar for months now. And after seeing the leg show that Pixie Lott put on, I don’t blame you. I’ve never heard a single one of this chick’s songs, but I’m a big fan of her body of work. Or actually, just her body. She’s very talented. » view all 18 photos Photos: WENN.com
