Who actually believes these jerks are sorry? In their eagerness to make an unfunny pun about the NBA’s newest Asian sensation — Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin , ESPN’s mobile site posted the headline “Chink In The Armor” last night for a story about Jeremy Lin and the Knicks’ loss. ESPN has since removed the headline and released the following statement: Last night, ESPN.com’s mobile web site posted an offensive headline referencing Jeremy Lin at 2:30 am ET. The headline was removed at 3:05 am ET. We are conducting a complete review of our cross-platform editorial procedures and are determining appropriate disciplinary action to ensure this does not happen again. We regret and apologize for this mistake. Uhhh that’s more than a mistake. That’s a pretty racist error. What should ESPN do to show they’re truly apologetic for being so out of pocket??? WTF?!?! From the day her son was born, Neha Patel said, she hated him. On Thursday, that hatred reached a fatal level, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators said Patel slapped Ishan, her 1-year-old son, then purposefully left him alone to drown in a bathtub half full of water at their Lakeland home. When she returned 10 minutes later and found him unconscious, she refused to perform CPR, even though she knew the procedure, the sheriff’s office said. Patel, 32, was arrested early Friday afternoon by Tampa International Airport Police, who found her sitting in her Toyota Sienna van in the airport parking lot. She told investigators she planned to jump off the parking garage roof, but every time she attempted to commit suicide someone walked by. She is now charged with first-degree murder. Investigators are looking into whether Patel was suffering from post-partum depression. She told deputies she “hated” her baby since the day he was born and blamed him for her “state of mind.” Pam Crain, a Polk County Health Department spokeswoman, said post-partum depression, which is a chemical, hormonal imbalance, can be moderate to severe shortly after giving birth. It affects 10 to 15 percent of women, she said. We’ve got to come up with a better way to punish people like this lady. Sorry, but sitting in prison for life ain’t enough when you kill babies! Breaking: Police Stop Suicide Bomber From Attacking The White House

These terrorists aren’t about that life. U.S. Capitol Police and the FBI on Friday arrested a Moroccan man who was planning a suicide attack on the Capitol, authorities said. The suspect, identified as Amine Khalifi, arrived at a federal courthouse in Alexandria, Virginia, where he was expected to make an appearance in the afternoon, court officials said. In announcing Khalifi’s arrest, Justice Department spokesman Dean Boyd said the man had received what he thought was a vest with explosives, but the materials in the vest had been rendered inoperable by law enforcement. Khalifi was arrested as soon as he accepted the vest from undercover officers, according to a federal law enforcement source. He was also given a gun, which was similarly rendered inoperable, officials said. The 29-year-old suspect was living in Alexandria and was in the United States illegally, the source said. A second source, a government official, said the planned attack was meant to be carried out Friday. Khalifi has lived in the United States for 12 years, the government official said. The investigation began when the suspect began talking with an undercover agent. “The suspect was talking about blowing up military installations, and synagogues and said he wanted to blow up a restaurant,” the government official said. The man had been closely monitored as part of a lengthy and extensive undercover operation, police said, adding that U.S. Capitol Police had been “intimately” involved in the investigation. Just when you thought the controversy would finally come to an end… This morning the official word came down that Rihanna and Chris Brown will be collaborating on a remix to her song “Cake”. The announcement stirred up a isht-storm of controversy that seemed to re-ignite the fire that was lit more than 3 years ago when we first learned that Rih-Rih had caught Breezy’s fade. Many folks still feel that Chris Brown needs to be FURTHER punished for his actions and should not be basking in the glory of public forgiveness. Billboard Magazine seems to agree with that general line of thinking and decided to pen and open letter to the two love-struck superstars in order to help them see the “error of their ways”. New Virginia Law Is Being Called “State-Funded Rape”…Do You Agree?

Virginia keeps getting more and more backwards. And their new abortion law is just insane. This week, the Virginia state Legislature passed a bill that would require women to have an ultrasound before they may have an abortion. Because the great majority of abortions occur during the first 12 weeks, that means most women will be forced to have a transvaginal procedure, in which a probe is inserted into the vagina, and then moved around until an ultrasound image is produced. Since a proposed amendment to the bill—a provision that would have had the patient consent to this bodily intrusion or allowed the physician to opt not to do the vaginal ultrasound—failed on 64-34 vote, the law provides that women seeking an abortion in Virginia will be forcibly penetrated for no medical reason. What’s more, a provision of the law that has received almost no media attention would ensure that a certification by the doctor that the patient either did or didn’t “avail herself of the opportunity” to view the ultrasound or listen to the fetal heartbeat will go into the woman’s medical record. Whether she wants it there or not. So if you want an abortion in Virginia, you’ll be forcibly penetrated whether you really want it or not – by an ultrasound probing device. The point is to shame women into hearing heartbeats and seeing their child before having the abortion. Then it’ll go on their records.
