Jaime King: Pregnant with First Child!

Jaime King shared some very exciting news with her fans today: The actress is pregnant with her first child! King and husband Kyle Newman are expecting, the former made very clear a few hours ago, posting a photo of herself, her man and their two dogs along with the caption: “Getting ready for another baby to be squeezed into this picture!” It’s been a great few days for the beautiful star all around, as The CW picked up Hart of Dixie for a third season late last week. She and the 37-year old filmmaker wed in November 2007 after two years of dating. We wish this growing family nothing but the best!

Boy Scouts Propose Lifting Ban of Gay Members

The Boy Scouts of America are one of the most famous groups for banning homosexual members, and it has seemed for the last few months that their views may finally change. Now, the BSA is proposing a partial lift of the exclusion, allowing homosexuals to join as youth members, but not as adult leaders. The proposed resolution comes after weeks of deliberation on the issue. The next step is to take it to a vote amongst the 1,400 members of the National Council. The proposal is already getting flack from both sides of the argument. Gay-rights organizations such as GLAAD are calling the bill timid and inadequate, while Conservative groups criticize it for declaring that homosexuality is acceptable for children. Ultimately, the BSA will likely have to take a clear stance on the issue. As a result, many project that membership will decrease over time and that hostility toward the organization will grow until they lift the ban entirely. Lauren Conrad Home: Beautiful! Not Cheap!

Lauren Conrad is amassing quite the portfolio. The former star of MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills just purchased a new Los Angeles home, renovated by Jeff Lewis, of Bravo’s Flipping Out fame. It cost her $3.745 million. Check it out: The private, 4,300-square-foot, 2-story, New England-style home is located in the posh, West L.A. enclave of Brentwood, home to many celebrities. The 6-bedroom, 5-bedroom estate sits on a quarter acre and features hardwood floors; marble in the kitchen and bathrooms; and stainless steel appliances. While the backyard doesn’t come with that quintessential celebrity staple – a swimming pool – the listing notes that there’s definitely room to build one. Lauren Conrad, 27, also owns a Beverly Hills condo and a four-bedroom pad in that Orange County seaside town where it all began … Laguna Beach. She’s also an author and fashion designer, among her other pursuits. Seems like she’s doing pretty well overall as a businesswoman these days …

It’s 4/20, man! And to celebrate,  This is the End has released a new promo. The promo promises that if you buy your advanced tickets today, then the studio will take care of your “munchies.” Interesting. This is the End Promo: 4/20! This is the End stars  Pineapple Express  collaborators Seth Rogen and James Franco as themselves. When the apocalypse hits Los Angeles during a party at Franco’s house, a group of comedy friends holes up and fights to survive. Jonah Hill, Jay Baruschel, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Emma Watson, Michael Cera, Jason Segel, David Krumholtz, Paul Rudd, Aziz Ansari, Mindy Kaling, Martin Starr, Kevin Hart, Rihanna, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse also star. This is the End arrives June 12.

Zooey Deschanel Named as Boston Bombing Suspect in Hilarious Closed Captioning Fail

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Zooey Deschanel. While these two names might not sound similar to you, they were close enough to confuse one Fox affiliate Friday during the massive Boston manhunt. Not long before authorities captured the Boston bombing suspect , he was erroneously listed by the closed captioning as the beautiful singer-actress. Cross promotion for New Girl ? A welcome moment of levity after what could only be described as a tough week, which ended after police remarkably took Tsarnaev alive last night. Zooey Deschanel, meanwhile, is still at large.
