Great news (and nudes), skin fans! We’ve been reporting on Sleeping Beauty and Melancholia since both films debuted at Cannes in May, but we haven’t been able to provide any details- until now! Sleeping Beauty doesn’t have an American release date scheduled yet, though it is currently playing in Russia (we know, it’s weird) and hits UK theaters October 14. But screener copies have been sent out, and while we can’t show you the goods (yet), we’re beyond excited to report that Emily Browning DOES make her nude debut in this picture, and what a nude debut it is! Emily strips completely nude for multiple scenes of nude snoozing, baring her sleeping boobies, creamy white seat meat, and little red mustache (yes, the carpet matches the drapes)! One film to do supremely well at Cannes this year that we haven’t talked much about in the months since is Miss Bala. The Mexican film is about a beauty pageant contestant (Stephanie Sigman) who narrowly survives a massacre and is subsequently drawn into the drug-running Mexican underworld. Reviews have pegged Miss Bala as a film that savagely depicts the drug wars that have ravaged parts of Mexico…. In what is becoming a growing trend not just in Atlanta but across the country, thieves targeting expensive hair weaves smashed a vehicle through the front of a West End beauty supply store before daybreak Tuesday. According to the AJC , the smash-and-grab robbery at Angie’s Beauty Supply and Salon on Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard was the latest in a string of burglaries where thieves stole costly hair extensions. The burglars, who are still at large, drove a Jeep Grand Cherokee through the front doors of the store as well as a iron security gate. The store is located in a strip shopping center near Joseph Lowery Boulevard. Once inside, they went straight for the expensive “Indi Remi” hair weaves. Just last Tuesday, thieves broke into the Beauty Masters II store in the Camp Creek Marketplace shopping center on Camp Creek Parkway, making off with single-strand weaves before fleeing with hair valued at $50,000. On June 18, thieves also broke into another beauty supply store owned by the same individual, the Beauty Master store on Headland Drive near Greenbriar Parkway. Like the latest break in, the robbers went straight to the display of Remi hair extensions.
