It’s only been five months since Meghan Markle welcomed her first child . But given the fact that they went with “Archie” for the kid, it stands to reason that she and Harry would want another crack at the naming process. We kid the Sussexes because we love them! But seriously, folks, word on the street is that Meghan is pregnant with baby number two . And when we say “the street,” we mean social media, because we never actually go outside. Anyway, as you may have heard, Meghan and Harry are on tour in South Africa at the moment. It’s one of Meg’s first royal engagements since becoming a mom, and not surprisingly, she and Harry are being photographed non-stop. And as with past royal tours, this means Meghan is forced to endure two very specific types of scrutiny: First, there’s the never-ending commentary about her fashion choices. Don’t get us wrong, we’re sure a limitless supply of cool clothes from the world’s top designers is one of the major perks of being a royal — but it must be more than a little annoying to catch flak for repeating an outfit while touring a foreign continent. The other type of constant inspection Meghan is forced to endure comes courtesy of the millions of amateur obstetricians who are forever holding her midsection up to a microscope. Many of these people are convinced that Meghan is currently expecting her second child. This conclusion appears to be based on nothing other than a handful of amateur photos. But hey, let’s indulge the rumor mill for a moment, shall we? “The camera never lie[s],” a fan named Fanie Jason captioned the pic above. “Meghan Markle could be pregnant again or my imagination is running ahead of me. Some of the photos I took of Meghan and Harry in Cape Town,” she added. Sure. It’s entirely possible that Meghan is pregnant in this photo. But it’s possible that this is just a case of an awkward angle. It’s also important to point out here that Meghan just passed an entire human being through her birth canal less than half a year ago. There’s an outside chance that she’s a mere mortal, and is therefore not rocking six-pack abs at the moment. Harry and Meg say they’re planning to have one more kid , and sadly, this sort of speculation will likely continue until the day they make the announcement. It’s a sad part of the lifestyle that Meghan signed up for when she married Harry. But hey, at least her outfits have been on-point! Ronnie Magro and Jen Harley are the most dangerous couple in Hollywood. This point is really not up for debate. Days after the Jersey Shore star got arrested , however, an attorney for Ronnie has spoken out and a new report has come to light that may paint a different picture than initially believed. Is Magro really a violent cocaine user who threatened his girlfriend with a knife? Or might he be an especially responsible father who would do anything to protect his kid? Consider the following facts and rumors and try to decide for yourself… 1. Let’s Start Here: Harley and Magro are simply horrible for each other. They became parents in April 2018 when the former gave birth to a girl named Ariana… and within weeks, Jen was trashing Ronnie as a “deadbeat dad” and Ronnie referred to Jen as a “cum dumpster.” 2. And They Stayed Together After That? God, yes. And then also after Harley got arrested for dragging Ronnie down the street by her car and after she hurled a glass ashtray at his head on New Year’s Eve 2018. 3. That’s Crazy. What’s the Latest? Very early on the morning of October 4, Ronnie was arrested for allegedly attacking Jen and even for (allegedly) holding their daughter hostage. 4. Uhhhh, WHAT? It’s true. Reports state that Ronnie and Jen were renting a home in Los Angeles when they got into yet another huge argument. 5. Jen Then Made a Run for It This part of the story seems to have been confirmed. Rip Taylor, one of the more flamboyant, colorful and memorable comedians of his generation, died in Beverly Hills on Sunday. He was 84 years old. Taylor’s publicist, Harlan Boll, confirmed this sad piece of news last night, although no cause of death has been confirmed to the public. Early in his career, Taylor realized that the more he exaggerated the gag… the bigger the laugh he drew, thereby overemphasizing everything — from his shaggy blonde toupee and bushy mustache to the zany props that were the basis of his bits. The star’s jokes were delivered with shrieking gusto at nearly all times. He started his career as a stand-up comic in nightclubs and later made his breakthrough with appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show. Dubbed the “King of Camp and Confetti” and “The Crying Comedian,” Taylor also rose to popularity due to appearances on “The Merv Griffin Show” and lots of other variety talk shows as a comic in the 1960s. He was famous for dousing his audience with buckets of colored paper, as anyone attending a Rip Taylor performance had to expect to be wearing confetti by the end of the show. Explained Taylor in 2011: “I did props and I was ‘The Prop Comedian.’ I was dying like hell on Merv Griffin’s show. The jokes were dumb, and I tore the 5 by 8 cards, threw them up in the air and it became confetti. “I knocked over his desk, walked up the aisle, went to Sardi’s and said, ‘Well, that’s the end of my television career.’ I went home that night. Their switchboard had lit up. “They said, ‘Get the guy that went crazy!’ And that is how the confetti started.” Taylor also “the $1.98 Beauty Show,” which featured guests compete for the title of the “1.98 Beauty Queen” in a pageant, talent-show format. Aside from these talk show gigs, Taylor ended up in numerous movies and television shows. One of his more memorable big-screen appearances came when he played himself in Wayne’s World 2. At one point, a quest by Wayne to put on WayneStock, the ultimate music festival, garnered stature when Taylor agreed to attend as a special guest. “Rip Taylor’s going to be there,” Mike Myers’ main character told Cassandra Wong in this scene, trying to convince her to perform. “Rip Taylor? He’s a god in my country,” she replies. “He gets mobbed in the street.” Taylor also played parts in The Dukes of Hazzard and all three Jackass movies. On TV, you may remember Rip from such programs as “Sigmund and the Sea Monsters,” “The Brady Bunch Variety Hour,” “Santa Barbara” and other smaller roles along the way. He was the subject of a 2016 documentary, Rip Rip Hooray and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1992. Taylor was briefly married to showgirl Rusty Rowe, but got divorced soon after. I want to lead by example for my daughter and how to be a real man and I need to lead how to be a good boyfriend/husband. I’m sorry. This is what Ronnie Ortiz-Magro said in November of 2018. Fast forward nearly a year… and the Jersey Shore star was arrested for attacking Jen Harley with a knife, reportedly because he was on cocaine and allegedly while holding his 18-month old daughter in his arms. In other words: Ronnie has learned almost nothing, and changed barely at all. While there are major personal ramifcations at stake for Ronnie as a result of this incident — Will he go to jail? Will he lost custody of young Ariana? — there’s also a professional consequence. It’s about time we wonder whether Ronnie deserves to be featured on MTV any longer, don’t you think? According to various outlets, Ronnie completely flipped his $hit just before 3 a.m. on Friday. He and Harley reportedly got into yet another screaming match, this one turning violent and dangerous for all involved. Ronnie is accused of chasing his on-again/off-again girlfriend around with a weapon and then grabbing the couple’s infant daughter and locking him inside the home the couple had been renting. When police arrived on the scene, Ronnie refused to be taken into custody… prompting authorities to use a taser in order to subdue the reality star. Photos later emerged of a shirtless Ronnie being wheeled away on a gurney while handcuffed. Is he innocent until proven guilty? Yes. But one need not be convicted of a crime to be fired from a reality program. Just ask Farrah Abraham , who was let go from Teen Mom because she starred in amateur pornography videos. Or Jenelle Evans , who was booted from the same franchise because Child Protection Services deemed her an unfit mother — even though no charges were ever filed against her. Raking in money from a cable network and garnering vast fame and fortune as a result of a role on Jersey Shore is a privilege, not a right. Ronnie doesn’t need to be a certified criminal for producers to decide that his time on the series has run its course. So… should they make this call? Has Ronnie’s contentious relationship with Harley — which has included multiple arrests at this point, as well as very ugly fights over social media — created a situation in which Ortiz-Magro is simply too poisonous of a presence to employ? He’s a father, remember. There’s an innocent little girl in the middle of all this, someone who may sadly have to read about her parents awful exploits online because they’re featured on a popular television show. According to Atlanta Black Star , Dr. Venaya Jones recently opened the first veterinary clinic in Cleveland to be owned and operated by an African American woman. The facility offers a wide spectrum of services including diagnostic exams, dermatology, wellness visits, and hospice care. Dr. Jones—who discovered her passion for helping animals at a young age—says she wants to utilize the Cleveland Veterinary Clinic as an avenue to push animal health care forward and establish the clinic as a go-to veterinary facility in Cleveland. “I feel like it’s a great opportunity here in Cleveland, especially there being no other vet hospitals here,” she said in a statement. “There are tons of people with pets, we’re in the health tech corridor. I mean, this is where quality medicine is discovered and done, and I want to be a part of that.” For the Western University College of Veterinary Medicine graduate, opening up the Cleveland Veterinary Clinic was about more than her passion for animal health care; its about representation. Dr. Jones hopes her journey will inspire Black youth to pursue careers in veterinary medicine. She mentors youth and other women of color who are interested in stepping into the field. “I’m hoping to uplift the community both physically and emotionally, health wise by taking care of their pets, but … also bringing a sense of pride and a sense of accomplishment,” she said. “I want to be able to show other [young minorities] that they can do it, anything that they dream of, because here is a Black woman that’s come into this community and made it happen.” Black entrepreneurs are breaking barriers in the medical field. Earlier this year a group of African American medical professionals joined forces to open up Chicago’s only Black-owned urgent care facility . Sparks have fired General Manager Penny Toler after she admitted using the “N-word” in a post-game rant following a WNBA playoff loss . The Sparks released a statement saying: “Toler was relieved of her duties and will no longer be with the organization, effective immediately. A national search will begin immediately to identify the next general manager of the Sparks. Managing Partner and Governor Eric Holoman will assume the duties in the interim.” Toler reportedly entered the locker room following a Sept. 19th loss to the Connecticut Sun and went on an epic rant calling out the team for their lack of intensity. Toler acknowledged using the word but insists it was not directed as a slur toward one of her players. “It’s unfortunate I used that word,” Toler said … “I shouldn’t. Nobody should. … But you know, like I said, I’m not here to defend word by word by word what I said. I know some of the words that I’m being accused of are embellished.” The Sparks thanked Toler for what she accomplished during her 20 seasons with the franchise. Under her leadership, the Sparks made the playoffs 18 times and won WNBA titles in 2001, 2002 and 2016. Toler was a founding member of the WNBA and played for the Sparks from 1997-1999, scoring the first basket in WNBA history.
