Whether it’s coming to my grandmother’s funeral or you coming to meet my family and spending time with my family,” he told her on air, adding in more painful detail: “I do want you to know how grateful I am to have met someone who has pushed me in so many different ways that I just had no idea I needed to be pushed in. “Right now, I do think that we are in different places individually and for that reason I would like to get a divorce.” Dr. Pepper Schwartz was left “stunned” by this decision, while Dr. Viviana Coles said her heart was “broken for Iris.” As for the bride? She handled the news better than expected. “I think you’re an amazing person,” Keith added. “I think you’re an amazing woman but I’m just not sure you’re the right one for me.” “I guess I’m at peace with it because it’s something I can’t change,” Iris replied simply. As for Elizabeth Bice and Jamie Thompson ? These two, and the way they were presented, left us guessing until the very end. First, Jamie confessed that he doesn’t “love the sexual relationship” he has with Jamie. So the end had to be near for the newlyweds, right? Nope: despite their many ups and downs, the couple was united in their decision to remain married. “I think there is a lot for us to grow together in this world and I think we have a lot of positive things to bring to each other’s lives, but you’ve done some pretty effed up things and you’ve called me some pretty choice words,” Elizabeth said. “I think I’d be really crazy if I didn’t stay with you so I want to stay in this marriage.” Can’t say we saw that coming, but the episode was chock full of surprises. “I just think there’s just too much good, too much positivity, too much to throw away so my answer is yes, I want to stay married,” Jamie concluded. Way back in April, David Eason shot and killed Jenelle Evans' dog , an 11-pound French bulldog named Nugget. Now obviously, David is not a criminal mastermind. In fact, we're impressed when we see him out in public with his shoes on the right feet. But he was able to avoid prosecution in the Nugget case, largely because he and Jenelle made it difficult for police to figure out what the hell actually happened. Then David went and confessed to the killing in an interview with People magazine, because — like we said — he's not the brightest bulb. So might he finally be punished for his nauseating crimes? Here's what we know so far: 1. The Easons Take Manhattan Jenelle and David are in New York in order to promote her newly-released eyebrow kit. The launch coincided with the city’s fashion week. 2. Tricky Business The launch party itself was a sparsely-attended bust that took place on some random Astro-turfed balcony. And the rest of the promotions haven’t turned out much better. 3. The Challenge The task presented to Jenelle and David was a difficult one — run damage control and rescue what’s left of your reputation, even though you stand accused of beating and murdering a puppy, then hiding the crime from police. 4. Absolute Disaster Because Evans’ manager, Johnny Donovan, knows nothing about his clients, he scored them an interview with People magazine. He was apparently under the impression that they’re a couple of smooth-talkers who would sort this whole thing out with ease. 5. Even Worse Than We Expected We don’t need to tell you wrong Donovan was. Despite a series of pre-approved softball questions, Jenelle and David sputtered and stammered their way through the interview and dug themselves a MUCH deeper hole. 6. Source: South_agency / Getty A Black Las Vega s man was arrested last week after police initially stopped him for not having proper lighting and reflectors on his bicycle. According to reports, 50-year-old Byron Lee Williams raced off with the officers giving chase, but the man died in their custody after they subdued him. Local outlet KTNV reports : The incident began shortly before 6 a.m. near Bonanza Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard. Asst. Sheriff Charles Hank said that patrol officers from the Bolden Area Command came across a man who was riding a bicycle without a safety light. When they attempted to stop him, he took off. The patrol officers began chasing him. Initially the man, who has been identified as Byron Lee Williams, was still on his bike but then he began trying to escape on foot. The officers were eventually able to catch up with him and told the man to get on the ground. While being cuffed, Williams told the officers he couldn’t breathe. As they were taking him to the patrol car, Williams appeared to pass out. Officers called for assistance and the Las Vegas fire department arrived several minutes later. Medical personnel began treating Williams on the scene before transporting him to Valley Hospital. Williams was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The family of Williams is demanding answers in the case, most notably wondering why officers cut off their recording equipment while also ignoring Williams’ pleas that he could not breathe. Officials in Las Vegas are examining the incident, which took place last week Thursday. We’re watching the body camera footage showing the @LVMPD arrest of Byron Lee Williams. He later died. Disgraced Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel finished his custody battle with Kathryn Dennis in something of a stalemate. But that doesn’t mean that he’s out of the woods when it comes to the very serious accusations of sexual assault. This week, Ravenel reported back to court — and entered his guilty plea. On Wednesday, September 11, Thomas Ravenel appeared in a Charleston courtroom. There, he entered a guilty plea to the charges of third degree assault and battery. His sentence? 30 days in prison. Additionally, the judge suspended the jail time, changing it instead to require the wealthy socialite to pay a fine … of $500. Ravenel has an estimated net worth of $6 million. Keeping in mind that he is accused of raping his children’s nanny, that is … not the outcome that many of his detractors had hoped to see. There was, at least, an allecution. “On the night of the incident, I did attempt to kiss her,” Ravenel admitted in court. “And in doing so,” he confessed. “I grabbed her arm and that was wrong.” Ravenel concluded: “And I am much appreciative of the opportunity to apologize to her in court today.” Dawn Ledwell, his accuser and his children’s former nanny, was not present in court to see him skate by with a modest fine. Ravenel’s story of an attempted unwanted kiss certainly qualifies as assault. But it’s a very different story than the one that Ledwell mustered the courage to share. She describes the 2015 incident as him having removed his clothing, cornering her, and forcibly place her hand against his genitals. She accuses him of having places his hand against her groin in turn. Ledwell sustained injuries to her neck and breasts during the assault, apparently caused by what was done to her clothing. Ledwell explained that she did not cry out or fight back during the alleged sexual assault because one of the young children was sleeping nearby. As awful as what was happening to her was, she was more afraid of the young child seeing it and being traumatized. One year ago, in September of 2018, Ravenel was arrested for assault and battery in the second degree. It seems that prosecutors were already uncertain of how much of what happened to Ledwell they could prove in our court system. Clearly, even less than they thought, as the disgraced former politician was able to reduce the case to giving an unwanted kiss and then pay what amounts to a parking ticket. Ledwell is also not the only woman to accuse Ravenel of sexual assault. After a Tinder date with one woman, he allegedly changed demeanor dramatically and alarmingly and sexually assaulted her. That woman is bound by an agreement to not speak of it. Her daughter was involved in the proceedings but is not beholden to an NDA, and it was she who shared the story with the world. It has been strongly suggested that Ravenel may have had other, unidentified alleged victims sign NDAs in the past. But for now, that is speculation, and Ravenel remains a free man. The Brooklyn rapper who found himself indicted by the Feds on racketeering charges has been snitching liberally , per the prosecution, and he’s critical to their case. Prosecutors filed a letter detailing their case, which basically has Tekashi detailing all the crimes he was involved in. Reports TMZ : According to prosecutors, Tekashi is expected to testify and name names in various alleged crimes, including the July 2018 robbery and kidnapping of Tekashi himself. The big thing … he will identify which Nine Trey Blood members are attached to various aliases used in incriminating texts, social media posts, DMs, and other communications. This is critical evidence for prosecutors, since they have to prove the messages were sent by the various defendants. Things get even spicier as Tekashi will detail his crew’s intentions of lining up Brooklyn rapper Casanova. According to the letter, Tekashi will implicate himself and other gang members in a conspiracy to harm a rapper — Casanova — who wrote lyrics they felt were critical of 6ix9ine. He will also testify … another member of Nine Trey — SEQO — sent out a message if any rival bloods were to come across Tekashi they were to “fire on him.” What’s also interesting … the letter essentially says Tekashi was the bank for the gang … one of his roles was to make money for the gang and then distribute it among members. Our sources say lots of friction was created when Tekashi turned off the cash spigot. Our sources say that’s why the kidnapping/robbery went down … as retaliation. Tekashi was never about that life and is facing up to 47 years behind bars if convicted. With his cooperation, he may be out in a matter of years. But that rap career is certainly a wrap. And if you feel bad for him, consider he has also copped to years of domestic violence .
