The event was done in association with his Leading By Example Foundation, Amazon Music, Atlanta United, New Era, Puma, Momma Flystyle, and Antwanette McLaughlin of The Spice Group.More than 2,300 kids were given backpacks containing school supplies, uniforms, and sneakers. Free haircuts, health screenings, and other activities were also available to those who attended. On top of that, the rapper also donated $15,000 to the non-profit organization Juma to help them in their efforts to get youths to open up bank accounts and to help educate them in financial literacy. As we know, they’ve announced that they’re an official couple since #TheBlogs outed them because it was obvious that something was going on. Obviously, the road to their relationship wasn’t without mess. Moniece hates it and Apryl, and we don’t quite know where Omarion stands. So, we begin the episode four months before all that drama started, and before Fizz and Apryl stopped fronting about their feelings. J-Boog, and Fizz come together at the gym to prepare for the millennium tour. They also meet up with Spectacular from Pretty Ricky, who also was also on the tour. The thing is, Fizz and Omarian had a falling out probably about five or six years ago and haven’t really spoken since. Omarion has been quiet about Apryl and Fizz but he’s supposed to be on the millennium tour (and we know by now that he was), so the behind the scenes of this is going to be interesting, especially because Fizz said the only person he’s ever been friends with, in B2K is J-Boog. The rest is just business. Speaking of Apryl, she’s back too, obvi. She says Omarian left her two months after she had their second baby and she doesn’t know why, and they’re currently in the middle of custody drama. But she’s glad to be back. She’s also filming around the time she was filling in for Melyssa Ford on Hollywood Unlocked so we’ll probably get to see some of her interactions with Jason Lee, who is also back as the mess bearer. Princess and Ray J are back with their daughter Melody in tow. They’re still struggling to juggle couple time with parent time. Speaking of parent time, A1 and Ray J are friends again. A1 forgave Ray for spreading rumors that Lyrica slept with Safaree. Plus, they have new fatherhood in common and lean on each other for support. They meet up with their babies, and this is where A1 tells Ray J that he and Lyrica are not on good terms. Actually, Lyrica picked up and left him a couple of weeks ago and he doesn’t know if or when she’s coming back. She has been gone for 10 days thus far. Hold that thought because we’ll get her side of the story soon. K. Michelle is back. She’s looking for a new house and working on her music. She has plans to make it big in the country music world. She also hired a surrogate because she wants to have twin girls. Then we meet Brittany B a Grammy-nominated producer/songwriter with a long list of impressive credits on her resume. She’s also one of the youngest African-American women at Warner Music Group. Black Chyna stops by her office to let her know that she wants her music career to jump off and Brittany plans to help. Back to A1. A1 and Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked are allegedly friends. So, Jason hits up A1 because someone sent him a video of A1 video chatting and flirting with Summer Bunni, an IG baddie. This video is supposed to be proof of A1 cheating on Lyrica with this woman, who was one of the women in question when Lyrica was pregnant. A1 says Lyrica knows about this (but she probably really doesn’t). However, he would rather this not be posted given how he and Lyrica aren’t cool right since this could make things worse. Jason Lee is in an interesting situation. If they’re truly friends then he wouldn’t release it, right? At the same time, there are no friends in Hollywood. Jason chases exclusives so of course, he’s going to post it. He tells A1 that he’ll give him some time to warn Lyrica first. None of this is going to go well. When Lyrica gets back to LA she explains her side of things to her mom, who has been helping with watching her baby. Basically, she left because she felt like she was dealing with a lot. She was tired of the rumors about her and Safaree and over A1 cheating on her. Apparently, A1 has been flewing (yes, flewing) chicks out, paying for boob jobs and all kinds of stuff. When they see each other face to face, this just turns into another argument that goes so left that A1 decides not to tell her about the video because she’s already super pissed. So, because we know what show this is, then you can already assume that Jason Lee ends up releasing the video. Let’s fast forward a bit to yet another conversation gone wrong with Lyrica and A1. This one happens over the phone because A1 decides to go on tour with T-Pain without telling Lyrica. That pisses her off. So, she questions why he didn’t tell her he left. He just turns things around on her and asks why she left him for two weeks and didn’t say anything. Then she asks why he didn’t say anything about the video. And he tries to turn things around on her again, asking her why she has been reading #TheBlogs. Finally, the episode winds down with Apryl and Moniece coming face to face, again, to chat about whatever it is they’re not feeling about each other. Basically,. This is fall out from their social media war. Apryl feels like Moniece lashed out at her first. Moniece feels differently and says she’s not the aggressor, and she’s tired of people looking at her as this bitter baby mama. Then she declares, “NO ONE’S GOING TO SIT IN MY FACE EVER AGAIN AND TELL ME ABOUT THE FATHER OF MY CHILD!” Annnnnnd scene. You know they had to leave us hanging for drama’s sake. There will be more where that came from next week because Apryl and Moniece have to finish this discussion. Afton Williamson has had enough. The actress will be leaving ABC’s The Rookie , amid claims that she faced racial discrimination and sexual harassment while working on the show. Afton made the announcement yesterday while putting her executive producers on blast in a lengthy Instagram post. “I will not be returning for Season 2 of The Rookie,” Afton’s post begins. Afton, as Officer Talia Bishop, co-starred alongside Nathan Fillion throughout Season 1 of the police drama. She claims her mistreatment began as early as the original pilot. “Throughout the filming of the pilot,” Afton writes, “I experienced Racial Discrimination/Racially Charged inappropriate comments from the hair department and bullying from Executive Producers.” She says the bullying continued throughout the season, along with “Sexual Harassment from a recurring guest star.” Afton made the legally shrewd decision not to be specific about the identity of her aggressors. She also was not specific about the actions or language used against her, but obviously what happened is not okay. Working alongside great actors on a major network television show should have been a great gig. But no one at any job should have to put up with racist remarks or sexual harassment. There are supposed to be systems in place to prevent and correct this kind of behavior. In the corporate environment, this usually means taking your problems to the human resources department. But Afton claims that though she reported the harassment to showrunner Alexi Hawley, he never even passed her complaints along. “The Sexual Harassment though reported to the Showrunner/EP remained undocumented,” Afton says. She adds that the behavior “was not reported to HR as promised.” Because of his inaction, Afton’s harassment continued throughout the first season. Things reached their breaking point for Afton when the situation “escalated into Sexual Assault at our wrap party.” Now, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Afton’s claims are finally being investigated by Entertainment One, the studio on production of The Rookie . At this point, it isn’t clear whether the studio began the investigation before or after Afton’s decision to leave the show. Either way, it may be too little, too late to clean up this mess. For Afton, as well as the series, the damage is done. It seems like both Entertainment One and ABC are mostly focused on damage control right now. They both want you to know that even though they let this happen and did nothing until a woman had to leave her job, that they’re taking this “very seriously.” “We take claims of this nature very seriously,” said a statement released by Entertainment One. The statement continues, “We have initiated an independent investigation which is ongoing, and as such, it would not be appropriate to comment at this time.” ABC released a similar statement, saying “The safety of working environments is a top priority for us, and we take this matter very seriously.” Just like Entertainment One, ABC is not quite ready to draw any conclusions or accept responsibility. The story is definitely still developing, but we hope both studios actually follow through and do right by Afton. We may even learn more today, once ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke meets with reporters at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour. Kelly built over decades is continuing to avalanche down on him. According to TMZ , Robert is being charged with engaging in prostitution with someone under 18, and hiring/offering/agreeing to hire someone for sexual contact for paying a girl between the ages of 16 and 17 for sexual contact in his hotel room back on July 11, 2001. The Minnesota prosecutor, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman, says that the woman approached police on January 11, 2019 to filed a report. Just three days after Cook County prosecutor Kim Foxx made a public plea for other accusers to come forward. Word is that the then-teen asked Kelly for an autograph and he then paid her $200 to dance naked for him. They did not have sexual intercourse, but there was sexual contact. Robert is facing five years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted.

But no more, Deadline reports Mitchell’s role will definitely not be coming back and will be killed off on the show. Following Showtime’s TCA executive session, the networks President of Entertainment Gary Levine confirmed Mitchell’s character, Brandon will be killed off. When asked by Deadline if Brandon would get a proper ending following his abrupt exit, Levine stated: “There is a lot of great life in The Chi, and there’s also death in The Chi, and that’s how we’ll be dealing with it.” Mitchell was accused back in May of inappropriate behavior by actress Tiffany Boone who plays his on-screen girlfriend in the show. He was subsequently fired after multiple incidents continued to happen despite going through HR training. The fallout following impacted his career immensely. His MTV movie nomination was rescinded, his agency UTA dropped him, and he was replaced on an upcoming Netflix movie titled Desperados. Lena Waithe also faced backlash because she knew what was going on the set of The Chi but was accused of not swiftly acting. She is set to have a role in the upcoming third season of the show. This news also comes on the heels of actress Afton Williamson announced on Sunday she will be quitting the ABC drama The Rookie . She filed claims of sexual harassment and racial discrimination. Mitchell is still set to star in A24 studio’s film based on the captivating Twitter story that followed a stripper named Zola. According to the 22-year old herself, assuming we’re interpreting her latest Instagram message correctly, Sampaio has been hired to appear in an upcoming Victoria’s Secret campaign. And what, exactly, would make this notable and, as mentioned above, historic? Sampaio would become the first openly transgender model to pose for the lingerie company, which has been trying to rebrand of late. The Brazilian beauty just shared the photo featured here of herself sitting in a bathrobe backstage at what she writes was a photo shoot for the company’s PINK line on Long Island, New York. “Backstage click @vspink #bastidores #new #vspink #campaign #representatividade #diversity #beauty #selfie #model #life #fashion #usa #vstorm #valentinasampaio #bomdia,” Sampaio wrote. It’s unclear whether she also set the record for hashtags with this caption. It’s worth noting, though, that Sampaio’s hiring would come just as the company looks to rebrand amid declining sales — and following controversial remarks that the group’s chief marketing officer made last year about the idea of including transgender and plus-size models in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show… … which has since been canceled . Assuming Sampaio really is now a Victoria’s Secret model, the reaction online has mostly been very positive. This make me so happy!” Victoria’s Secret Angel and fellow Brazilian model Lais Ribiero Tweeted on Saturday. “Wow finally!” added fellow transgender star, LGBTQ+ activist and Orange Is the New Black alum Laverne Cox. In 2017, Sampaio also made fashion history by becoming the first transgender model to appear on the cover of a Vogue publication, specifically Vogue Paris.
