You’ve gotta give Bethenny Frankel props for being a good sport. The reality star, entrepreneur and possible future actress appeared on Anderson this week and was challenged by the host to a push-up contest after he said he heard that was Bethenny’s frequent go-to move at parties. The two then jumped down into position… only for Frankel’s dress to ride up and for half the audience to get an unexpected few of her bare buttocks. Bethenny Frankel to Star in New Michael Bay Movie?!?

She’s already conquered the worlds of liquor and reality television. So, clearly, only one obstacle remains for Bethenny Frankel: Hollywood! According to an Us Weekly source, the former Real Housewife actually auditioned for Pain and Gain on February 27, an upcoming Michael Bay filmthat stars Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Ed Harris. “Bethenny secretly read for a role in Miami, Florida, and she did a good job,” an insider claims. “Although she has no formal training, she has obviously gained a lot of experience working with cameras and she was totally comfortable with what she had to read.” Bay was not present for the audition, but a second mole tells the tabloid it went very well. “They sent her an email after and said how great she was. She doesn’t know when she’ll find out if she gets the part, but the audition was fabulous.” This really shouldn’t come as a surprise. Frankel acted for years like everything she was saying and doing on screen was not scripted by Bravo.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy: Out of Dancing With the Stars?

The rumors are swirling again, as they seem to every spring and fall as Dancing With the Stars prepares to unveil a new cast: Will Maksim Chermkovskiy return? He certainly didn’t endear himself to the judges last season when he made arrogant quips to Len Goodman about how the elder statesman should leave the show. Even though he claimed in the same breath that “this is my show, you know,” is Maks calling it a career? He’s hinted that he might, and ABC won’t comment. The DWTS producers won’t reveal which pros will return for the 14th season until they announce the latest round of celebrities (February 28 on Good Morning America ).

Bethenny Frankel on Today: I Suffered a Miscarriage

The new season of Bethenny Ever After premieres tonight on Bravo and, in promotion of the event, the show’s star appeared this morning on The Today Show . And she opened up about an extremely personal topic: her recent miscarriage. “That was a very emotional experience,” Bethenny Frankel said of the tragedy that took the life of her eight-week old fetus. “Until you become a woman, you don’t know the things that come with it.” Might Bethenny and husband Jason Hoppy have another child, a sibling for daughter Bryn, who was born in May 2010? “The window is closing, and it’s something I’m dealing with,” Frankel simply replied.
