Nikki Reed Compares Her Wedding To ‘Breaking Dawn’

‘What Bella says to Charlie is exactly what I said to my dad,’ ‘Twilight’ star reveals about her wedding to ‘American Idol’ alum Paul McDonald. By Kevin P. Sullivan, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Ashley Greene, Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed in “Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Entertainment For the legions of “Twilight” fans, the year’s biggest wedding is only a few days away, with “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” hitting theaters Friday. But for Nikki Reed , who plays Rosalie in the films, her biggest wedding took place about a month ago when she married former “American Idol” contestant Paul McDonald on October 16. While promoting the film, Reed has had to field a number a questions about similarities between Bella’s wedding in the film and her own real-life wedding. “People have been asking, just because I just got married, ‘What’s the difference between your wedding and Bella …?’ — the whole comparing thing,” Reed told MTV News. It wasn’t until Reed actually saw the finished film that she discovered a similarity between the two weddings. “I saw the movie last night for the first time, and what Bella says to Charlie is exactly what I said to my dad right when we were going to start walking down,” she revealed. “She says, ‘Don’t let me fall,’ and I was wearing these high shoes and walking down this cobblestone hill, not a smooth glide to the altar. I kept saying to my dad, ‘Please, don’t let me fall. I’ll just take my shoes off. I don’t need to walk in shoes.’ He’s like, ‘It’s going to be OK.’ ” With her wedding came the question of whether Reed will change her surname to “McDonald.” Reed said she likes the idea for her personal name, but wasn’t sure if she’ll change her stage name. “I don’t know what I’m going to do. I feel like there’s something really nice about that, changing your name,” Reed said. “I think it’s sort of traditional, and I’ve never been a super-traditional gal, but I think it’s nice.” She did express some concern over the name and referenced her husband’s own problems with it. “He told me that he didn’t think anyone was going to marry him for that exact reason [of his last name],” Reed said. “I think it’s kind of nice, though. ‘McDonald’ is a good name. It’s strong. It feels strong and beefy.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . Kirstie Alley: Dating Serge Onik?

Kirstie Alley was been a bit of a tease lately. Flaunting her new figure (she just dropped 100 pounds, as these Kirstie Alley weight loss pics show), she’s been spotted all over Europe with a much younger fella. So who is it? Serge Onik is his name, and she just can’t stop Tweeting about her man, while referring to herself as Cougar Maximus in the process. Pretty funny … “Mystery man And I slink out of Paris today 2 covertly take Rome by storm… Cougar Maximus, or just friends? I luv my silly life!” she Tweeted. So who is this mysterious Serge Onik? Only Kirstie’s dance partner for her European tour and upcoming NYC show, and a student of her former DWTS partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Sounds hot … or does it? A source close to the situation says there’s no romance between the two. “She’s joking around. He’s her trainer,” the insider tells E! Online . Just friends or not, Kirstie is clearly fond of Serge, saying: “I love my dance partner @sergeonik He understands me & is always here for me. He injects happiness, beauty & joy into my soul… #grateful.” Now that’s the right kind of attitude to go through life with. #Fact [Photo: WENN.com]

Wale Comments On Meek Mill “Tension” Rumor

Read this article:

“Nobody can make turn me and @MeekMill. Against each other..we talk everyday, and its deeper than rap w/ us..before #mmg that was my brother” tweeted Wale regarding the recent rumor alleging some “tension” between he and label-mate Meek Mill. Bossip.com had interviewed Meek on the red carpet of the BET Hip Hop Awards which spawned the belief that there was something wrong with the way Wale kept interrupting him. Of course he isn’t going to admit that there could possibly be bad blood brewing between the two. As long as solid music is steadily produced I don’t think we need to worry. Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake Sexting Claims ‘Entirely False’

JT ‘might write songs about putting things in boxes,’ but ‘he … definitely doesn’t make a habit of taking any photos of them,’ co-stars’ statement reads. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis in “Friends With Benefits” Photo: Glen Wilson/ Sony Pictures Last week, the Internet was buzzing with news that nude photos of Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis had leaked. Although the reportedly scandalous four photos never actually hit the Net, one was said to feature Kunis in a bathtub, while Timberlake appeared in another two. The “Friends With Benefits” co-stars, however, are laughing it all off. “At no time did Mr. Timberlake and Ms. Kunis exchange inappropriate texts or emails. … The insistence that there is any inappropriate correspondence between the two parties is entirely false, ” a lengthy statement to People reads. The co-stars go on to add, “We would like to confirm that the photo addressed in the media of Ms. Kunis was in fact not from any phone but from an inactive email account that has not existed in three years. In regards to the other photos in question, they were never exchanged between the two parties.” Like Scarlett Johansson, whose private nude pics recently hit the Net, the actors are working with authorities to nail down the hackers who gained possession of their personal photos. But Kunis and Timberlake also showed they have a sense of humor, writing, “In closing, Mr. Timberlake would like us to make it clear that while he might write songs about putting things in boxes, he never has and definitely doesn’t make a habit of taking any photos of them and sending them,” referring to Timberlake ‘s hit “Saturday Night Live” sketch “D— in a Box.” Ms. Kunis would like us to add that while she is a fan of the song, she does not have nor has ever had photos of any male parts in her possession.” In the 2006 “SNL” sketch, Justin joins castmember Andy Samberg and his Lonely Island crew for a song about giving their loved ones the gift of “themselves” for the holidays. Nicole Scherzinger Flashes Some Sideboob

I love Nicole Scherzinger , not enough to watch the new version of American Idol she’s on, but enough to post these pictures of her on the red carpet somewhere. If she’s going to continue to show off her impressive sideboob in fancy evening gowns, she’ll definitely be making a few more appearances on the site. I’m not pleased that she stole my internet wife Cheryl Tweedy’s job, but I can tell why they chose her. She’s hot. I wonder if there’s any hard feeling between the two hotties? I think the three of us should get together in a hot tub and clear the air. I’m a good mediator. more pictures of Nicole Scherzinger here

Age Limits: “Laws” For The Little Ones…

Even though I’m not that old, I am pretty much old school when it comes to how little girls and boys should dress and behave. I was raised in the era of “stay out of grown folks business” and my mother never shopped in the same clothing store as me. In my hay day parents were parents and children were children, there was no blurry line or popularity contest between the two. Continued at MadameNoire.com

Blink-182’s ‘Heart’s All Gone’: Back To Basics

Second song from band’s upcoming Neighborhoods album is equally indebted to both classic Blink and iconic West Coast punk. By James Montgomery Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus Photo: Jason Kempin/ Getty Images It’s easy to compare Blink-182 ‘s brand-new “Heart’s All Gone” with ” Up All Night ,” the first song they released off their upcoming Neighborhoods album, mostly because the similarities begin and end right there. They are both songs by the band, and they are both on the new record. Perhaps, then, it’s best to contrast the two songs, because they’re different in just about every conceivable way. “Up All Night” premiered with much fanfare — on the band’s site and L.A. radio station KROQ — and was greeted with much the same. “Heart’s All Gone,” on the other hand, bowed without much notice: just a quick link on Mark Hoppus’ Google Plus page that took you to a new website and a simple instruction to “Command the ‘A’ ” (or, if you’re on a PC, “CTRL + A”). Doing so on the new site, of course, revealed not only lyrics but the song itself. And that’s when the differences between the two tracks really become apparent. Because while “Up All Night” synthesized all of the band’s previous endeavors (Plus-44, Angels & Airwaves, Box Car Racer) into something entirely new, “Heart’s All Gone” does the complete opposite: It is very much a blast from the past — both Blink’s and the West Coast punk scene that birthed them. With its breakneck guitars, yelped vocals and cascading drums, it sounds like something taken from Blink’s 1997 Dude Ranch album (or ’01’s Take Off Your Pants and Jacket ), but at the same time, it also recalls classic West Coast churn and burn,

When Pigs Fly: NFL Player Reps Reportedly Meeting Monday To End This Shady Lockout

Seems like this NFL Lockout situation will never be resolved… ESPN has upped the language and certainty of their report that says the process to end the lockout will start with a vote Monday. No longer is a meeting between the NFLPA* executive committee “expected.” Now the players have bought tickets and are flying in Sunday for a Monday meeting. No longer are there a few minor points left to figure out. Adam Schefter reports the two sides “have reached agreement” on the remaining issues. “Despite the fact the new deal will require a majority vote from the players, that part of the deal between the two sides is considered a formality, according to sources,” Schefter writes. The timeline we laid out last night remains. While it’s not official, some teams could potentially report to their team facilities Wednesday. The two sides would hope to have enough players officially vote to open free agency and training camp next Saturday. These dates remain subject to tweaking, but the report of an agreement apparently does not. We’ll believe it when we see it. Source

DJ Khaled Denies Rick Ross/ Young Jeezy Beef

‘Beef … we’re here to get money. We’re here to make great music,’ Khaled tells MTV News. By Alvin Blanco, with reporting by Rob Markman DJ Khaled Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images DJ Khaled just released his fifth album, We the Best Forever, which features contributions by Rick Ross and Young Jeezy . But not on the same track, which shouldn’t be surprising considering the two rappers have an ongoing feud. But according to DJ Khaled, that is no longer the case. “They don’t have a beef,” Khaled vehemently told MTV News. “That’s people that would probably try to stir things up that have a beef. First of all, Ross is my brother. Jeezy is a great friend of mine. And if they did, I would be the guy in the middle [that would] be like, ‘Stop!’ That’s just what I do. Beef … we’re here to get money. We’re here to make great music. What’s beef gon’ do? But if somebody disrespects you and try you, you gotta do what you gotta do. It is what it is. But we hope it don’t come to that in life. And that’s just in any situation.” Despite the Miami DJ and producer’s assertions that there is no friction between Jeezy and Rozay, the relationship between the two rappers can be described as cold at best. It began in August last year when Jeezy released the freestyle “Death B4 Dishonor.” Rapping over the instrumental to Ross’ hit “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast),” many speculated the lines “How you blowin’ money fast?/ You don’t know the crew/ Oh, you part of the fam?/ Sh–, I never knew,” were aimed at Ross. However, the Snowman said that was not the case. Since then, both have taken jabs at each other in song and in the press. Then in November 2010, footage appeared of Jeezy in Miami rhetorically saying, “Where is your favorite rapper at?” when he was asked about Ross. To this Ross told U.K. DJ Tim Westwood, “If you really have an issue, put it on the table and handle it like a G.” Nevertheless, Khaled, who has had his own issues with 50 Cent , is so confident in his skills at musical diplomacy that he feels he could get the Snowman and Rozay on a song together right now. “I’ve done it plenty of times already,” Khaled, who featured both Ross and Jeezy on two songs (“Fed Up,” “Put Your Hands Up”) from his 2010 album Victory, said. “Of course I could. You want me to go make one, no problem I’ll go do it. Matter of fact, I’ll do it just for the fun of it. But absolutely I can do that. Ross is my brother, and Jeezy is my brother. That ain’t no problem, that’s easy.” Related Artists DJ Khaled Rick Ross (Hip-Hop) Young Jeezy

Justin Bieber, Lil Twist Song ‘Is Going To Really Do It’

Young Money MC tells MTV News the pair are working on a clip for single ‘Wherever You Are.’ By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Vanessa WhiteWolf Lil Twist Photo: MTV News Late last year, Justin Bieber and his “homey” Lil Twist revealed they were working on a mixtape. Well, fans may soon get to hear a song and see a video from that mixtape. MTV News spoke to rapper Twist at 106 & Park’s Closer to My Dreams tour stop in Los Angeles on Thursday, and he was enthusiastic that once the song reaches the masses, it would have a good chance at making a play in our race for Summer Jam of 2011 . “My third single, ‘Wherever You Are,’ ” Twist said of his summer jam pick. “It features my little brother Justin Bieber and I believe that that record is going to really do it,” he told us. Twist went on to dish about the duo’s plans to step up their game for the song’s forthcoming video.”We’re gonna get some treatments [written],” he said. “We’re not just gonna pick any treatment because that video could just be out of here. We got a few different ones; I don’t mean to name any [directors], but a few different ones. It’s going to turn out great.” The collaboration between the two young stars has been long-simmering, with Bieber and Twist teasing a full mixtape. For now, though, fans will have to settle for one track. Last November, Twist explained that Bieber had come up with the idea to work on some music together. “Me and Justin, we actually met through a mutual friend and after that we got real cool actually,” he recalled. “[We] started working in the studio, sending stuff through the MacBook and everything. And then he was like, ‘Yo, bro, we should do a mixtape. Let’s go.’ We just started then.” Are you looking forward to the Bieber/Twist collabo? Tell us in the comments!
