Courtney Robertson, the controversial finalist on The Bachelor, has shocked more than just fans by trying on wedding dresses in Beverly Hills on Wednesday. Nicki Sterling, who was eliminated this week, is beside herself as well. Sterling is “positively shocked” by the photos, and the implication that Robertson, a season-long source of Bachelor drama will get Ben Flajnik’s final rose. “I’d have to chew on that for a while,” Sterling tells People . “I don’t even know. I’m kind of shocked right now. I’m sorry, wow, my mouth is open right now.” There’s always the possibility that the attention-loving Courtney Robertson was merely putting on a publicity stunt of sorts. Or maybe she was “modeling”! “I would hope and pray that is not the case,” Sterling says of a possible stunt by Court. “There are no words to describe how horrible that would be.” “I mean, somebody’s heart is on the line.” “Not just somebody’s, but Ben who I care deeply about. I cannot believe anybody – even as manipulative as Courtney – would take it that far. I would hope not.” Only time (and perhaps some more hinting on Court’s part, or The Bachelor spoilers if you’re into that sort of thing and believe them) will tell.
It wasn’t all tepid , frustrating and demoralizing Sunday night at the Oscars. We’ll always have the red carpet with all its bitchy tweets , tuxedo sabotage , wheelchair awkwardness and wackadoodle screen vets getting the live, televised attention they so richly, richly deserve. Take Richard Dreyfuss and Nick Nolte, for example. Who was crazier? Oscar-winner Dreyfuss practically melted with contempt for the whole post-Oscar scene, veering from modulated bickering to some rant about retiring from movies, the Constitution, the conservative political patrons the Koch brothers, and… Well, here. Watch: It made for a fine complement to the evening’s earlier red-carpet batshittery, with nominee Nolte making the most of his face time by discussing crows, pinball machines and whatever else his interviewer brought up (when he could hear and/or understand her): Are you thinking what I’m thinking? According to RadarOnline : Whitney Houston’s family, spearheaded by her mother, Cissy, is asking law enforcement to look into death scene photos that were leaked to the media in the days after the pop superstar died at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, including one pic of her body being wheeled out on the gurney in a body bag, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. A few days after Whitney passed away on February 11, a media outlet (not RadarOnline.com) published a photo of Houston in a body bag on a gurney being taken out of the hotel. The entire floor was on lockdown, and the area was secured by the Beverly Hills Police Department. There is surveillance video from the hallway of the person who took the picture of Whitney in the body bag, and the Houston family wants to know who it is and have asked for an investigation into the leak of the photos. The Houstons have been told by cops that after her case is officially closed, they can look into the matter. It might not be the the Beverly Hills Police Department that would handle that, but this is very important to the Houston family to know. “They need and deserve to know who took the pictures, and if the person profited from it,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.
