This week, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finished up their trip to Beaver Creek and we take a look at who reached new high or low points in our +/- recap! Taylor was on a downward spiral. This girl was just a mess. Her moods have shifted from miserable to distraught to kind of scary. But the ladies earned a Plus 7 for trying to help, even though they weren’t all that successful at it. Kim took on the mothering role when she woke up to find a half naked, crying Taylor in her bed. I doubt she was expecting that. Having been divorced, Kim tries her best to console Taylor on her troubled marriage. Plus 8 for making the effort to point out that everyone has problems and Taylor’s not as alone as she feels. Camille, however seemed content to hide in her room and let the drama play out without her. Honestly, I couldn’t say I blamed her. I might hide too but she was the host. Minus 5 because she really should have checked on her guest. Taylor’s breakdown continued as she ended up crying in a closet and then became completely paranoid over a missing makeup bag. Heaven forbid dinner with the ladies not be in full makeup. The tears didn’t stop for dinner and at that point I began to wonder if there was more than alcohol fueling her meltdown. But Taylor is so thin and so emotionally fragile I don’t think it would take very much to drive her over the edge. Besides, all of the ladies bickering at once over what Taylor should do about her marriage would have been enough to send me screaming from the room. Minus 8 for not realizing when a little calm and quiet might be in order. I couldn’t believe Kyle was hesitant to tell Mauricio about the drama of their trip. It’s not like he hasn’t seen the ladies in action or that he wouldn’t hear about it elsewhere. Why not share the insanity?

Promoting Moneyball , filming World War Z and having met the love of his life, with whom he raises six kids, it’s hard to imagine things getting much better. “That was just a great collaboration that turned into a greater collaboration,” he says of meeting Angelina Jolie on the set of the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith . Not that there haven’t been some low points along the way. Pitt admits the couple may want to rethink their policy of never working at the same time – it helps the family, but means they can’t make movies together: “We should be doing them together. That’s what we should do. We should be doing everything together. Then we could work less and have more time off.” Like sabotaging Jennifer Aniston’s fake wedding ? Sorry. Fans likely wouldn’t complain about a Brangelina blockbuster, although they’ve made it work quite well with their present arrangement, so we’ll have to see. In the meantime, just bask in the hotness that is Brad.

The late Russell Armstrong had a history of domestic violence dating back long before his assault on estranged wife Taylor became public knowledge. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars’ five-year-old daughter Kennedy never saw Russell attack Taylor Armstrong, however, a new report says. Entertainment Tonight , who aired this Taylor Armstrong abuse photo and spoke with the reality star, made the revelation on its program Wednesday. ET reported that six weeks before he hanged himself (or was murdered , according to some people), Russell sought to change his will, although he never did so. The program also delved into Russell’s past violence towards women. Armstrong had two separate restraining orders filed against by him, one by his ex-wife, and one by an ex-girlfriend, as well as a battery conviction in 1997. Russell married Barbara Armstrong in 1997 and separated shortly after their son Aiden was born. She alleges he hit her while she was six months pregnant. “Russell threw me to the ground and slapped me across the face,” she said. “The police were called because Russell hit me, blackened my eyes, kicked me in the back, threw crystal drinking glasses at me, and spit on me.” Barbara also states in a sworn declaration that Russell “pleaded guilty to battery and said that he understood that he [needed] anger management. That was the first such program that Russell was ordered to attend.” Barbara divorced Russell, remarried and moved to Arizona, but Aiden continued to see his father every other weekend, flying to Los Angeles to do so. On August 6, 2004, Barbara claims she was called by Russell’s then-girlfriend, Claudia Haro, who told her she “Saw Russell slap Aiden across the face, very hard. This slap was so hard that Ms. Haro heard it across the room.” “Ms. Haro has seen and heard Russell slap Aiden’s face on other occasions.” Barbara subsequently got a temporary restraining order against Russell and requested that an off-duty police officer monitor visitation with Aiden. A coroner has ruled out foul play, but John Ann Hotchkiss – the mother of Russell Armstrong – has confirmed in a new interview: “We want a murder investigation . We will do whatever is necessary to proceed.” Hotchkiss simply can’t fathom that Russell would take his own life – she says he was “warm and personable” and “loved his children to a fault” – and believes his financial struggles left him open to a “set up.” “No one is accusing Bravo,” Hotchkiss clarifies to U s Weekly . “We think someone conspired to have him murdered and it is open as to who did it.” Russell’s mother hasn’t shied away from the spotlight since her son’s death, explaining in an interview soon after the tragedy that Armstrong was petrified of his portrayal on season two of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . Does she blame the program for what happened? No, but if Taylor and Russell had never been on it, “I honestly believe in the bottom of my heart they would still be together,” she said of the “emotionally brutal show.” And she does blame Bravo for airing Monday’s premiere: “[It] was a total slap in the face. It just showed how superficial and shallow [Bravo] is… they don’t care about anyone. They just care about ratings.”
