Dr. Frank Ryan, a prominent Beverly Hills plastic surgeon to the stars, has been killed in a car crash after his Jeep veered off the Pacific Coast Highway yesterday. The doctor was just 50. His car landed on rocks and lifeguards initially tried to help Ryan , to no avail. He was trapped in the vehicle and had major, ultimately catastrophic head injuries. Minutes before, Ryan Tweeted: “After 25 years of driving by I finally hiked to the top of the giant sand dune on the pch west of Malibu. Much harder than it looks! Whew!” His last Tweet: “Border collie jill surveying the view from atop the sand dune.” Dr. Frank Ryan was widely criticized for the surgery he did on The Hills star Heidi Montag, who famously underwent 10 procedures in a single day earlier this year . “He was the most amazing person I have ever known. He was an angel and changed my life and the lives of everyone he met,” Montag Tweeted after his passing. “He was the most brilliant talented surgeon who will ever exist. My prayers go out to his mother, family, friends, and anyone ever blessed enough to meet him.” His bodies of work will be remembered throughout Hollywood. Among Ryan’s patients in addition to Heidi Montag , whose work has been greatly scrutinized this year: Gene Simmons, Shauna Sand, Vince Neil & Adrianne Curry. Rest in peace.

Bristol will be nowhere insight, but the former Playgirl cover model will soon be starring in a new show entitled Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office . The premise: Levi Johnston is running for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska – the post famously held by Bristol’s mother, Sarah Palin, before she became Governor! No word if Brittani Senser will help him campaign, but it looks like his for office is actually happening. Executive producer Canaan Rubin says in a statement: “The docu-soap will follow the ever controversial, headline making, matinee idol, handsome father of one as he embarks on a run for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.” “It will chronicle a ‘no-holds-barred’ period in Levi’s tumultuous life; co-raising his son Tripp, looking for love, and taking care of business for fellow Wasillians.” “He will give us a real inside look into who he is as a father, a skilled hunter, an avid dirt biker, and of course his journey down the road of small town politics.” ” Levi Johnston thinks he can take the office by representing the real citizens of Wasilla.” The statement ends: “If elected, Levi promises to serve his full term.” That’s a shot at Sarah Palin, who resigned Alaska Governor last summer to become a professional celebrity. Tank Jones will serve as Levi’s campaign manager. Shooting is underway: “They shot pre-production on the pilot today on Rodeo Drive [in Beverly Hills].” Ooh, the real Wasillans aren’t gonna like that one bit . Would you elect Levi Johnston mayor?

Tip hasn’t commented publicly about his nuptials, and this weekend at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, during a press event for his upcoming film “Takers,” the King of the South explained his silence. “You know me, man. I try to keep everything personal, personal,” Tip said. “I will say this: I’m happy.” Not only is the Bankhead, Georgia, music icon overjoyed about his personal life, but his career’s not too shabby either. His seventh album, King Uncaged, comes out in September, and “Takers,” which he starred in and produced, hits theaters August 27. “I’m happy to be at a place where I can present this film to the world,” he told MTV News. “[I’m happy to be] working hard on this album, doing everything I can to continue to add on to the good.” In the film, Tip plays the suave-but-deadly Delonte “Ghost” Rivers , a bank robber who helps orchestrate an elaborate heist not too far after a long prison bid. “I wanted to play a more interesting, challenged villain,” Tip said. “I think Ghost, in the end, is the villain, but initially he’s the guy you feel sorry for. Like, ‘Why you doing Ghost like that?’ He got shot; he went and did time. Now they don’t want to do his job. Why not? Later you find out why. The couple, who met back in 2006, exchanged vows Saturday in front of about 75 friends and family members at the UK pop star’s Beverly Hills home. “The ceremony was very beautiful and romantic,” a source said. “At last, Rob is happy,” the star’s dad, Pete Conway, told the News of the World . “That’s what you want for your kids. This is the happiest I’ve seen him. Ayda is so beautiful, so delightful, so lovely and just so right for him. They are brilliant together.” Ayda Field is now Mrs. Robbie Williams! After the romantic 30-minute ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception followed by a gourmet sit-down dinner. Happily ever after to follow.
