Beyonce Jealous Of Adele’s Success Apparently, there’s only room for one wig-snatching queen in this industry and her name is Beyonce. Baddie Bey is reportedly filled with the jealousy of a thousand flop singers at the fact that Adele’s crushing the game with her ridiculous album sales. Word is, we were even suppose to get new Bey music last month, but she pulled back because of Adele’s chart topping album. Per Star Pulse: It was an incredible year for British singer Adele, who landed the top selling album of 2015. But not everyone is thrilled with her success. According to In Touch, Beyonce, who hasn’t released an album since 2013, is a bit envious of the competition. An insider told the magazine (via OK!): “Beyonce wanted to release music in December, but she knew it simply couldn’t compare to Adele. She is beyond jealous.” Adele, whose album “25” dropped on Nov. 29, crushed sales of Taylor Swift’s hugely successful “1989.” Adele sold 8.01 million units (physical CDs and the streaming equivalent) compared to Swift’s 3.1 million units in 2015. It was the third time Adele earned a top-selling album in a calendar year, according to Fortune, making her the first artist to do so. Beyonce has had her own share of success. In December 2013, she unexpectedly released her fifth studio album on iTunes with no promotion. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and was her fifth consecutive number-one album. She was the first female in the chart’s history to have her first five studio albums debut in the top spot. Should Bey be worried?
