Blue Ivy Spotted Backstage At The Grammys Beyonce has been known to admit that she loses weight like there’s no tomorrow when she’s touring and now the designer of her dress for the recent 56th Annual Grammy Awards is also attesting to that fact by revealing that the usually curvy songstress has slimmed all the way down to smaller than a size 4. via Entertainmentwise Beyonce was the talk of the Grammy Awards red carpet on Sunday night, looking stunning in a figure-hugging white cut-out gown. And now the designer behind the dress has revealed what an honour it was to work with Queen Bey. Project Runway winner Michael Costello designed the gown that showed off the superstar’s body, but the designer has revealed the process was pretty stressful as he wasn’t sure his creation would fit his starry client! “It was incredible! We didn’t have any of her sizes or measurements,” Costello tells E! “The dress was just made to fit a sample mannequin. It’s smaller than a size 4. She is tiny! That dress is at least a 2/4. She looks amazing. I just love the way it all came together. Ty [Beyonce’s stylist] knew it was going to fit.” More pressure was added when Costello was told the fitting wouldn’t take place until the day before the awards. After working on the gown for three days straight, the designer reveals that his creation wasn’t even finished when Ty came to check on progress: “The neckline, the back, the hemline was not complete, and we still had to do some of the hand sewing on it. We put in a good extra day’s work. We had a great team. I made four other pieces that night for Beyonce, so that Ty had good options.” We wouldn’t be surprised to see Bey Bey pick some of her weight back up while she’s on break from tour.
