Hey guys, this is my Bieber experience. It seems so surreal to look back on something that happened just a couple days ago and realize I met such a huge part of my life. I met Justin Drew Bieber on 21/2/2013 at Manchester MEN Arena with meet & greet tickets. A lot of people think to get meet and greets, you have to be rich but you don’t, I started saving for my tickets before Christmas 2012 to make sure I had enough money. I worked 4 times a week and saved every penny I earned. It doesn’t just come from nowhere. On Thursday, the day of the concert, my mum drove my friends Lizzie, Molly and myself down to Manchester which is over a 4 hour drive from where. When we arrived at around 11:45 a.m. we booked into our hotel which we could see the arena from and dropped our bags in. We headed straight for the Lowry Hotel where Justin had stayed while on the My World Tour hoping to catch a glimpse of him (he didn’t end up staying there which kinda sucks). While we were there, we happened to catch sight of Cody Simpson getting off his bus and he waved over at us. At around 2:30 p.m. we headed back to the hotel to get ready to book in for the meet and greet at 4. We waited in the queue before getting our wristbands to meet Justin. While we were waiting to be taken the waiting area we saw Kenny and shouted his name. He looked over, smiling big and waved at us! At around 5:20 p.m. I heard the voice of an angel call, “I’m here!” from behind the curtain and I could feel my eyes starting to water. I couldn’t cry. I wouldn’t cry and just be ‘another fan’. I made loads of conversation with the host while we were waiting and he promised to give Justin the scrapbook we made him. We waited at the curtain and I could see Justin taking photos with the people before us, so I went to put my bag down but the guy taking the photos said, “No, keep your stuff” even though we’d just been told to drop them haha. I was first to go over to him and said, “Hiya” and he pulled me in for a hug and said, “Hey.” That one word literally made my stomach do flips! Then my friend Lizzie walked over and stood on Justin’s other side, giving him a hug. My other friend, Molly, was the last in and went over to say hi but just stood in front of him all cute and shocked. I mean, I get it, it’s Justin Drew Bieber. So Justin showed her where to stand and said, “Right here, right here,” smiling. He then made sure we were ready and said “Ready? 1, 2, 3.” Then the camera clicked twice and our turn was almost over! We quickly shouted, “I love you!” to Justin and he called back, “I love you too.” HE LOVES US. As we were leaving I’d noticed that Fredo was standing next to the photographer so I shouted “FREDO! HI” and waved at him really big even though he was literally touching distance away. He waved and smiled back and wait for it.. HE FREAKING WINKED AT ME! My eyes widened and the smirk on his face, omg. Then we all left the meet and greet room and I literally just burst into tears. I was like sobbing for a good 10 minutes then we were led into the arena where we could take our seats. The concert was unbelievable. We saw Dan Kanter watching Carly do her thing from the side and he smiled at all of us in our section and when Carly was on. Justin was perfect and the amount of times he looked over at us can’t even be counted on two hands , it was incredible. You can see how grateful he is in everything he does, you could see he was tired but he pulled through like a trouper and I’m so proud to call him my idol. I can’t say that Justin pulled me to the side and kissed me on the cheek or that I hung out with the crew for like half an hour but I met my idol and I got a photograph with him – which I never thought would happen. I’m Sophia and this is my second Bieber experience! It took place on 21st February 2013 and to be honest, it was the best day of my life. Basically I knew Justin was in London in-between his Dublin and Manchester concert dates. I live in London so my friend Alice and I thought we would go out around the city and try to meet Justin. The day before we heard that so many people had gone to his hotel and everyone was so upset because Justin didn’t take pictures with anyone. Alice and I thought we could meet in the morning and might as well go and wait outside his hotel for a while, as we knew he would be leaving sometime in the morning to go to Manchester. There were 3 possible hotels he was staying at and we just decided to go to Laghnam not actually knowing if Justin was definitely there. We met at around 9 a.m. and headed up to Oxford St., and walked down to the hotel. We didn’t really know where the main entrance was so we were just walking around the building for awhile. Then we found the main entrance and we ran over. There was about 10-20 other people and we just asked if they were here to see Justin. They were like, “Yeah apparently he’s coming out in a bit.” Then Kenny came out and were all like ‘OMG it’s Kenny” and he said hi but he had to go get all the stuff on the tour buses. We all just continued to like chant for Justin etc. Then Dan came out and I have met him before so I was like, “Dannnn do you remember me?” and he was like, “Yeah!!” Then Alfredo came out and I was so excited, and he took a picture of us. After that they all got into the tour bus and we were just waiting for about 10-15 minutes. Kenny let some people get pictures with him. Then I saw Justin come out and I was so happy, just like screaming and crying. He looked so tired. People are making rumors on Twitter saying he was being rude to all the beliebers there but he wasn’t, he was being so nice! He literally could have gone straight into his tour bus and not taken any photos with anyone, but he came over to us and took photos with some people. He was so nice and said, “Hey nice to meet you,” and said sure for photos. He was standing right in front of me and luckily a girl a few people next to me was recording it all. After like 15 minutes Pattie went into the hotel and she was waving at us all. I actually am in love with her! She stopped and signed something for one girl and then went into the tour bus! Then they were leaving so we all chased the bus down the road and it had stopped at the traffic lights. Alice and I kept running and we saw a taxi. We got in it and was like, “Follow that black bus please!” The guy was so nice, he was so funny and helped us catch up with the bus. We were like next to the bus and we rolled the window down and started waving at the driver. One of Justin’s dancers rolled down their window, and he told us Justin was sleeping. We said, “Please could you tell him we love him,” and they said yeah of course! That was my Bieber experience and it was the best day of my life. On August 14th 2012 I got up at 7 a.m. because I knew pre-sale tickets for Justin’s concert were going on sale and I wanted to buy the meet and greet ticket. I had saved up all my money from work to afford the ticket. I remember going on at 9 a.m. when they went on sale and I was heartbroken when I couldn’t get a meet and greet ticket, they were completely sold out! I managed to get normal tickets and I was happy I was going , but I was still devastated that I wasn’t going to meet him. On August 16th the official release of tickets went on sale, so once again I got up extra early. Again they were sold out. I thought to myself there is no way I’m ever meeting him. I went back to refresh the page and saw they added another date so I quickly clicked on hospitality packages and clicked to buy one meet and greet ticket . I waited for the page to go through to the check-out and when it came up, I saw that I had gotten a meet and greet! I knew then that I was going to meet Justin on February 18th 2013. On the day of the meet and greet I was so nervous. I have been supporting Justin from 2009 and I was finally meeting him. I didn’t know how I was going to react being right beside him in the flesh. I got to the arena and went to go wait in line, I made so many amazing belieber friends. One of the guys that works for Justin came out and told us he was stuck in traffic and that he was going to be late, I didn’t mind as it gave me more time to calm myself down. Justin being a bit late turned into us having to wait 3 hours. During this time Dan Kanter came out to talk to everyone and gets pictures. I got a picture with him and he had to take it because I was shaking so much. He is the sweetest person ever and I also got to hug him. I also met Nick, Justin’s choreographer and loads of other dancers. There was also a raffle for some of Justin’s clothes like his shoe, tank top and the gloves he wears on the tour. Unfortunately I didn’t win, but I won a tour program that Justin signed with his full signature! I was shaking knowing that Justin had touched it with his own hands. Anyways back to the meet and greet, we got told that Justin had finally arrived. I started shaking and freaking out as I got closer to the curtain. When I was next in line to meet Justin, the security told me to go through and wait. I looked round the corner and standing two feet away from me was Justin. All I could feel was my heart beating so fast. Then I heard the word “next.” I walked up to him and he said hi to me and smiled. I couldn’t speak, I literally stuttered and said, “Hhhiiiii.” I don’t know how but I managed to ask him for a hug. After hugging him it was time to get my picture with him. I put my hand around his waist and had my other hand down by my side and next thing you know, Justin himself took my hand and held it just for the photo! I was shaking thinking to myself, did Justin really just take my hand?! Throughout the whole meeting I couldn’t stop shaking, he is just so perfect in person. After the photo I said “thank you” to him and told him that I loved him. He turned to me and said “thank you” and smiled. It was the best experience of my life, I walked out of the meet and greet room and burst into tears because I couldn’t believe that I just met the 15 year old boy I fell in love with in 2009. 18th February 2013 is one day I will NEVER forget. My name is Mercedes and on the 17th of July 2012 I had my Bieber Experience. I saw Justin perform at an intimate concert in Sydney and met him, Kenny, Alfredo, and Dan. Justin tweeted that he was coming to Australia on the 15th of July. Soon enough, there were heaps of competitions I could enter to have the chance to see him at an acoustic performance for less than 300 people. I spent hours thinking of my entries and entered pretty much every single day. My good friend Caoimhe was doing the exact same, along with thousands of other Aussie Beliebers. Less than a week before the date of the intimate concert, I got a call from Caoimhe telling me that hot30 (local radio station) had called her and told her that they really liked her entry! It was insane, and I knew that it was one step closer to meeting Justin. She was one of the weekly finalists and they told her that a few days later they would call her and let her know if she won. A few days later she called telling me that she had not only won tickets to the acoustic show, but tickets to also meet Justin! It was absolutely incredible. The day eventually came, and we had to wait over three hours to see him perform. It was at a secret location, meaning we got transported there by private buses. Soon enough we waiting for Justin to perform, in front row! He finally came out, looking flawless and perfect as usual. He sang Boyfriend, Catching Feelings, ALAYLM, All Around The World, Be Alright, Baby, and Die in Your Arms. My friend was dancing like an idiot so he kept looking over to us during his performance! Alfredo came over to where we were to take videos, and he started talking to us and apologized for not being allowed to take a photo with us. Justin was absolutely adorable, asking us how we were and if we missed him. The performance ended, and the people that weren’t meeting Justin had to leave. While we were lining up to meet Justin, Kenny came out from backstage and I ran over to him and hugged him. He also apologized for not being allowed to take a photo with me. Soon enough me and Caoimhe were front of the line to meet Justin. We ran over as soon as we could so that we were next to him in the photo. Caoimhe was the first to talk to him, and when she said, “Look! We have matching denim vests!” Justin replied, “You have so much swag!” It was then my turn to talk to him. As soon as I said, “Hey Justin!” he turned to look at me. I told him that I loved him and that he’s beautiful, and he replied with, “Aw thank you.. You’re beautiful.” It was literally the best thing I had ever heard. After the photo was taken, Justin turned to hug me first and I kissed him on the cheek. I didn’t want to leave and it got to the point that security had to escort us out of the way to make room for other fans. As we were leaving, I saw Dan , but security wouldn’t let me say hello. I was really upset about it and I think Dan could tell because he smiled and waved to me.
