Justin Bieber hasn’t been heard from much over the past several weeks. And now we unfortunately know why: The singer has been off destroying his previously-smoldering body. The 23-year-old pop sensation debuted a new and unexpected look on Saturday via Instagram Saturday, lifting his shirt off to reveal.. … wait, what the heck did he just did?!? Bieber now has his entire torso covered in tattoos, from his collar bone all the way down to his chest… and also down to his lower stomach. Bieber initially shared on his wildly popular Instagram page a bathroom selfie depicting this rather extreme look. See for yourself here: According to E! News, Bieber’s new set of tattoos were done by famous tattoo artist Bang Bang. It took three days to complete his latest ink. “@justinbieber Thank you for the trust,” wrote Bang Bang on Twitter, adding: “26 hours over 3 consecutive days is the most I’ve ever tattooed anyone in my 13 year career. You’re tough as nails man!” Pretty crazy, right? We can’t help but wonder whether Bieber was trying to impress rumored new lover Paola Paulin , an actress on the HBO program Ballers who has reportedly been balling Bieber. By which we mean… the stars are totally having sex! Here’s an even closer look at the “art” that now covers every inch of Bieber’s chest and sleek stomach: Bieber got his first tattoo in 2012… and has basically been updating his literal body of work ever since. He has a photo of Jesus Christ on his calf… and a grinning Joker’s face… and an Indian’s Chief head. And A LOT more. Over 60 in total. As you might expect, fans of the artist weren’t thrilled with this look. “Please tell me this is a joke,” wrote one self-proclaimed Belieber. “NOOOOO!” another said simply. And then there was this one, who doesn’t like the look, but still wants folks to leave Justin alone: “I don’t even know why everyone is so overreacting? I mean, yes, Justin got his whole torso covered with tattoos but he likes it so shut the f— up “I don’t like it either but it’s his body and we should respect his decision.” We can’t let this one go, either: “Words cannot express how pissed off I am at Justin.” “What is he doing to himself,” wondered another. “Can’t he just go back to making music?” Yes, someday, Bieber claims .
