Snuggie Simulation: Beyonce Fan Recreates "Countdown" Video

Let there be no doubt now over the biggest Beyonce fan on the planet. We don’t know this young man’s name, but a kid has recreated the artist’s entire “Countdown” video, shot for shot, move for move… all while donning a Snuggie. For what reason? Perhaps as an odd tribute to Blue Ivy. All we can say for certain is that the guy has some impressive moves. And maybe too much time on his hands.

Confessions Of A Thickums: KimYeezy Says She Still Squeezes Her Coupled Up Cakes Into Spanx

Kim Kardashian Says She’s Still Uncomfortable With Parts Of Her Body Kimmy Cakes says she still relies on Spanx to keep her bangin bawwwdy in check. Kim Kardashian makes a pretty impression whether she’s sporting leopard-print mini dress … or a pair of sweatpants. But when asked whether she felt comfortable with her body, the reality star, 31, had a difficult time giving a straight answer. “I think so, for sure,” she said Thursday on the U.K.’s ITVLorraine show, before changing her answer. “Well, no, I’m such a perfectionist. I don’t think I’m ever really comfortable.” One of her biggest insecurities? Her thighs, Kardashian told Lorraine Kelly. “I still have some cellulite,” she said, describing Spanx as “the greatest invention.” So does this mean no more late night soulfood sessions with her Yeezy boo? Miranda Kerr Not Naked Enough in Harper’s Bazaar UK August 2012 of the Day

Miranda Kerr is substantially more interesting when she’s getting naked for fashion….you know proving to the world why she’s a top model…and making us forget that she’s had a kid…which is really what I think her biggest legacy to the world is….not random half naked photoshoots you can jerk off to , but proof that so many lazy new mothers out there are bullshit who use their baby as an excuse to justify their weight….kinda like blaming your dog for a fart…but the more serious and less attractive disgusting version….all while Miranda Kerr stays hot…..

Laura Jane Grace’s Transgender Life: How Has It Affected Her Family?

‘My wife has been my rock,’ Against Me! frontwoman says, but adds her new life ‘has completely ended’ her relationship with her father. By James Montgomery Laura Jane Grace Photo: Last month, Laura Jane Grace very publically came out as transgender in a Rolling Stone feature, bringing to close 31 years of living with a carefully guarded secret and effectively beginning a brand-new life. Of course, things weren’t quite as simple as that: Laura’s revelation only came after an intense year-long period of self-evaluation and open, often painful honesty. And when she and her Against Me! mates sat down with MTV News for their first on-camera interview since the Rolling Stone story broke, they spoke at length about just how she came out to the band . But that’s only part of the story. Because before Laura shared the news with her friends, she had to come out to her family, including her wife, Heather. And, as is often the case with life-altering events like this, there’s been some collateral damage along the way — including the unwanted attention Laura’s transgender life has brought on Heather and their daughter, Evelyn. “I mean, my daughter is my biggest worry of it all. Heather, my wife, has been my rock; she’s shown me support and love beyond my wildest expectations. On this tour in particular, it’s our first family tour, and she has, from the get-go, made sure people realize it’s Laura, to use the correct pronouns, and has been my biggest advocate and supporter. And whenever I’m feeling like I need any kind of strength, I look to her for that,” Laura told MTV News. “For my daughter, I’m hoping it doesn’t affect her in any negative way, as far as kids can be cruel to each other, once she starts school. It’s already weird enough when your dad is in a band, explaining that to other kids, but when your dad is transsexual as well … I just hope people are kind to my daughter.” In the Rolling Stone piece, Laura also expressed doubts over just how Heather’s parents would handle the news — they’re described as “somewhat conservative” — though, as she revealed, she’s been overjoyed by the support they’ve shown her. “I saw them actually, for the first time [since the RS story published] when we played in Chicago,” she said. “I woke up on the bus and they were all in the front lounge, and I came out wearing last night’s makeup, my hair was all disheveled, and it was like, ‘OK, here’s everybody! Good morning!’ But they all couldn’t have been more supportive and couldn’t be cooler about the whole thing.” Sadly, the same can’t be said for Laura’s father, a retired Army major with whom she’s never truly been close. At the conclusion of the RS story, Laura said she still hadn’t told her father she was transgender — though obviously, since the news came out, he’s aware, and he’s had a difficult time coming to terms with her new life. Though, tellingly, Laura isn’t letting that stop her on her new path. If anything, it’s inspired her to continue — if not for her sake, then for her daughter’s. “It has completely ended my relationship with my father. It is what it is,” she said. “For me, there were so many things leading up to this decision to come out to this publicly. Having my daughter, like, I had never had that close of a relationship with my father, and when I had my daughter, my father tried to become more a part of my life, because he obviously wanted to have a relationship with his granddaughter. And as I saw that develop, and as we became closer, because of that it was something that started to tear me up inside. “It was like, ‘OK, here we are, I’m building this relationship and setting this example for my daughter, and what are the ramifications of that if this person doesn’t even accept their son? And then they’re going to develop a relationship with my daughter; what kind of example is that setting to them?’ ” she continued. “I wanted this in so many ways to be a line in the sand with people, as far as ‘This is me. If you have a problem with this, then get out of my life.’ And if that’s the way it is. It’s unfortunate, but what can I do about it?” Related Artists Against Me!

Dominique Moceanu Reveals Long-Lost Sister Jen Bricker: An Acrobat With No Legs!

Dominique Moceanu, a member of the 1996 Olympic gold-medal-winning US women’s gymnastics team, received the biggest bombshell of her life. As her father was dying, and weeks before she gave birth to her first child, she got a letter fro, Jen Bricker, saying that she her biological sister. As ABC’s 20/20 reported last Friday, Bricker revealed that their parents gave her up for adoption when they found out that she had no legs. Dominique Moceanu 20/20 Interview The news was equally shocking to Bricker, who grew up idolizing Moceanu, the youngest member of the US Olympic teams “Magnificent Seven.” “I wouldn’t shut up about Dominique!” said Bricker, who incredibly had no idea at the time that the gymnastics champion was her sister. “I knew she was Romanian. I knew we looked alike. Her biggest fan!” Amazingly, Bricker, now 24, is a gymnast too. Having no legs didn’t stop her from excelling in volleyball, basketball and softball in her youth. But, just like her sister, 30, her true passion is gymnastics. Bricker even made it all the way to the Junior Olympics as a power tumbler. When Bricker was 16, her parents, an Illinois couple who adopted her as a baby, revealed to her that Moceanu was actually her older sister. Four years later, Bricker sent a letter to Dominique. Published in Moceanu’s new memoir Off Balance , the letter included photos and Bricker’s adoptive papers. Bricker wrote to her sister: “I feel that I have one chance to show you I’m not some crazy person, but I’m sure after seeing all of the papers, you’ll see that I’m serious.” Moceanu recounted to ABC her reaction to the letter: “It was the biggest bombshell of my life. Rage was my first emotion, had my life been a lie? I had this sister that was born who was given up for adoption, and I never knew it.” When she confronted her parents, they told her that Bricker was in fact her sister and was born one day after Moceanu’s sixth birthday. Her mother, Camelia, said that her husband, Dmitry, forced her to give up the baby, saying that they couldn’t afford the medical care. “I never saw my baby. I never held her, never touched her, never even smelled her. I desperately wanted to, but your father told me we had to give her up and that was that,” Camelia told Dominique. Moceanu had had a tumultuous relationship for years with her parents, who had been athletes and put her in gymnastics at age three. At 17, Moceanu legally emancipated herself from her parents, whom she claimed had repressed her and squandered her fortune. She also had a restraining order against her father, who had stalked her and who she feared had hired someone to kill two of her close friends. They later reconciled, however, and Dmitry even walked Moceanu down the aisle at her 2006 wedding before he passed away in 2008. The sisters now have a close bond and continue to marvel at their similarities. “The tones in our voices, our handwriting, the way we laugh and chuckle. It’s mind-blowing,” Moceanu said of Bricker, who enjoys a strong career as an acrobat and aerialist and has even toured the world with Britney Spears !

Paul Williams Still Alive: The Grammy and Oscar Winner Shares His Top 10 Movie Songs

Throughout the ’70s and into the first part of the ’80s, it was hard to ignore singer/songwriter/actor/sometimes talk show host and best-friend of the Muppets Paul Williams. He won Grammys and even an Oscar for hits he wrote including “We’ve Only Just Begun,”, “Rainy Days on Mondays,” “Evergreen,” “Just an Old Fashioned Love Song” and “Rainbow Connection.” Barbra Streisand, The Carpenters and even Kermit the Frog are among the artists he wrote super-hits for. Below, Paul Williams gives us his top ten movie songs of all time and dishes insight on Stephen Kessler’s documentary about him, Paul Williams Still Alive , about his raging ascent and crashing fall and return to form… Johnny Carson first brought the artist onto the Tonight Show as the swinging ’70s were just beginning. He did television, movies, concerts. If there was a group of “It-guys” in that crazy decade, Williams would surely have been a part of that cadre of people at the center of all that spectacle. But as the ’80s wore on and into the ’90s Paul Williams all but disappeared from the center of it all. Drugs and booze did him in for a while, though he came roaring back though via a less flashy route. Enter fan and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Stephen Kessler. He had long been a fan of Williams as a teen growing up in Queens, NY and his songs which he described as about “depression, loneliness and alienation,” and set out to find Williams and make a documentary. Williams said ‘yes’ but he was hardly a willing participant, at least initially, as Williams told Movieline. “By the time I decided to go along, he had spent a lot of time and a lot of money. I didn’t want to flat out say no and didn’t know how to say no.” Williams added that he thought there was nothing worse than some older famous guy trying to reach for that last bit of notoriety. Kessler is very present in the film, which goes against most documentary standards unless you’re Michael Moore or Morgan Spurlock. With Williams reluctant initially to open up and only providing limited access, the story unfolds interweaving a treasure-trove of ’70s pop culture which Paul is at the center and Kessler’s desire to get at his core and open up. I’m an actor, I can ignore the camera if I want to. But it’s exhausting to try and pretend I don’t notice the camera,” said Williams. “I didn’t want to do that, it seemed ridiculous.” One thing cameras caught and the film surfaces, decades later, is footage of Williams, high, while doing late night talk shows. Now 22 years sober, it’s a painful reminder of his past life and he even said during the film that he didn’t want his daughter to see that. But he relents and said he hopes it will help others. “I became a shallow ride and my behavior was totally unacceptable. One of the best things I did was to say to keep that footage in the movie. I think by leaving in you get a sense of how bad it got,” he said. “[There is] a sense of real disappointment and leading edge of shame. In a certain context it’s hard to watch, but you get a sense that recovery works. You see the yin and yang of the whole deal and you see that now, my life is such a gift. I hope I can make a difference… I love my life. And I’m blown away by the reaction.” PAUL WILLIAM’s TOP 10 MOVIE SONGS: Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley, Blackboard Jungle (1955) Main title theme by Elmer Bernstein, The Man with a Golden Arm (1955) Lose Yourself by Eminem/Bass/Resto, 8 Mile (2002) When You Wish Upon a Star by Harline/Washington Pinnochio (1940) The Man That Got Away by Arlen /Gershwin, A Star is Born (1954) With a Song in My Heart by Rodgers/Hart, With A Song in my Heart (1954) Somewhere by Bernstein/Sondheim, West Side Story Moon River by Mancini/Mercer, Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961) Alfie by Bacharach/David, Alfie (2004) Streets of Philadelphia by Bruce Springsteen, Philadelphia (1993) Born To Be Wild by Dennis Edmonton AKA: Mars Bonfire, Easy Rider (1969) And what are your favorites?
