Video: Neil Young & Crazy Horse – “Oh Susannah” I love Neil, but my biggest issue with him lately is that ever since his longtime producer David Briggs died in 1995 Neil has favored a spontaneous type of songwriting and recording that has all but buried any sense of craftsmanship. One of the biggest misconceptions in Android that more cores always equals better performance. Much like the “ricer” vs muscle car argument, there are other factors involved when calculating speed. Qualcomm makes a pretty nice little dual-core S4 processor, using more advanced Cortex “A15-class” cores providing for nice torque. Compare that to Nvidia’s Tegra 3 quad-core Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Android Phone Fans Discovery Date : 30/04/2012 06:23 Number of articles : 2

Mindless Behavior ‘Definitely Unique’ Among Boy Bands

‘Our Mindless movement is all about being confident, just being yourself,’ Battle of the Boy Bands hopefuls tell MTV News. By Kelly Marino Mindless Behavior Photo: Getty Images The first round of MTV News’ Battle of the Boy Bands has officially ended, but there is still time for fans to cast their votes for their favorite heartthrob group in hopes to title them the ultimate boy band of all time. Another group urging their biggest followers to vote for them are the guys from Mindless Behavior . But before you get mindless with your votes, here are some facts about the foursome that might help steer your mind in the right direction: Highest Chart Achievement Their single “Mrs. Right” featuring rapper Diggy Simmons reached #8 on the U.S. Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts after its 2011 release. Defining Tune The guys confess they would travel the world just to find the right kind of girl in the beat-popping hit “Mrs. Right,” causing female hearts in every country to flutter. Standout Video During their pledge to search high and low for “Mrs. Right,” the boys get a lesson or two in geography from their teacher, Professor LL Cool J. Directed by Brett Ratner, the video also features Mike Epps as the school janitor, who joins in on the fun during a pep rally to cheer on Diggy Simmons and the group’s signature dance moves. Debut Album Their debut album, #1 Girl, hit the U.S. in September 2011, debuting at #7 on the Billboard 200 with 36,000 copies sold in its first week. Biggest Competition Despite all of their success, the boys weren’t afraid to admit who they thought might be their biggest competition amid the new wave of boy bands that has exploded on the scene. “As far as other boy bands who I feel [are] our biggest competition is One Direction and the Wanted,” Roc Royal told us. “That’s a huge competition for us, because we all have different movements, and they come from the U.K., and they also have fans out here, which, they have a lot of fans out here, so it’s crazy.” So why do the guys think they should win our Battle of the Boys Band? Well, it’s simple, really: “There’s a lot of boy bands in the poll, but we’re definitely unique,” Princeton stated. “So please vote for us.” Ray Ray chimed in: “I think we should win the title for Best Boy Band of All Time because we have a great movement. Our Mindless movement is all about being confident, just being yourself, not caring what other people think, stopping all the bullying and, one, we’re really great artists. We have songs that anyone can listen to. That’s why I think we should win.” “And we love all of the fans,” Princeton added. When it comes to learning the key to becoming a great boy band, the group even filled us in on a little secret the Backstreet Boys once told them while on tour together: “When we were on tour with the Backstreet Boys, the advice that they gave us was ‘Stick together no matter what,’ ” Ray Ray shared. “They said: You might have arguments here and there, but just stick together. You have to become family although you’re in a group. You have to literally become family, and you got to stick together.” Voting in round two of MTV’s Battle of the Boy Bands runs until noon ET on Monday, April 30. Winners are determined by fan votes, so if your favorite band made the cut, make sure you keep voting. Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis And Andy Samberg: What’s After ‘SNL’?

While it will be a big loss for the show, we think all three can move on to strong careers. By John Mitchell Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg Photo: Getty Images The news that Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg may leave “Saturday Night Live” at the end of the current season has fans wondering why their favorite stars are looking to jump and how they’ll fare once they’ve departed the safety of the sketch-comedy institution to pursue TV and movie stardom. Neither Sudeikis nor Samberg has commented on the rumors , but on Alec Baldwin’s podcast Monday, Wiig did address the departure talk, though she neither confirmed nor denied the chatter. “I don’t know,” Wiig told Baldwin when asked if her tenure as one of the most beloved “SNL” performers was nearly up. “Everyone has to leave … and I will say that when I do leave, it’s not because I’m sick of it and not because I see something better or anything like that. It’s just that it’s time. When I do leave, it will be the hardest thing.” While some “SNL” performers have had shaky post-show careers, plenty have had great success, and there’s no reason to think Wiig, Samberg and Sudeikis won’t do the same. All three have plenty of projects lined up and a history of behind-the-scenes work that makes us think they’ll be just fine. Let’s take a look at what these three have cooking: Kristen Wiig Wiig is arguably the biggest star of the current “SNL” cast. She’s been on the show for nearly seven years and has received three Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Emmy nominations for her performance on the show. Her characters Gilly and the Target Lady and her impersonations of Kathie Lee Gifford, Nancy Pelosi and Taylor Swift are among the show’s most well-known. If she does leave, it will be a major loss for the show, but like Wiig told frequent “SNL” host Baldwin, “Everyone has to leave.” Like many successful comediennes before her, Wiig honed her comic talents as a performer and writer with the Groundlings comedy troupe. The latter talent served her particularly well last year, earning her an Oscar nomination for co-writing the screenplay to her hit film “Bridesmaids,” which grossed nearly $170 million in the US. Perhaps in preparation for her inevitable “SNL” departure, she’s recently been taking on dramatic parts — as in the just released “Friends With Kids” and the upcoming “Freezing People Is Easy” — and even her planned laughers skew away from the screwball comedy where she made her name, including “Imogene,” about a playwright who stages a suicide to win back her ex but ends up in the custody of her gambling-addict mother, and “The Comedian,” which will be directed by Sean Penn and co-star Robert De Niro. Prediction : Pretty, smart and an undeniable double threat, Wiig will be just fine. She’s got a long list of promising projects in the works, indicating that while she’s already a household name, she’s probably set for even bigger things. Jason Sudeikis Like Wiig, Sudeikis is currently enjoying a surge of interest from the film community. While his recent “Good Old Fashioned Orgy” was a miss, Sudeikis found modest box-office success with the comedy “Hall Pass” and scored an even bigger smash last summer with “Horrible Bosses,” which was a $117 million-grossing hit in the U.S. and pulled in another $92 million overseas. Sudeikis has found himself in some pretty ideal company if he’s looking to launch a long-term career in big-screen comedies. He already has “The Campaign,” co-starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, in the can, as well as a still-untitled short-film compilation (think “Paris, je t’aime”) that co-stars, in some fashion, everyone from Kate Winslet and Hugh Jackman to Elizabeth Banks and Emma Stone. The actor is also carving out quite a TV niche, appearing regularly on HBO’s acclaimed “Eastbound & Down” and as a voice on the animated “Cleveland Show.” Prediction : Sudeikis’ reputation for being easy to work with should not be underestimated here. Comedians are notoriously touchy subjects, so it’s not surprising that his easygoing nature has quickly made him a go-to for directors looking for a handsome funny guy. And let’s face it: There will always be a role for the handsome funny guy. But if he wants to prove himself to be more than a one-trick pony, he needs to take on a dramatic role in the near future. Might we suggest an ensemble pic from a director like Paul Thomas Anderson, Steven Soderbergh or David O. Russell? That way, if he’s good, critics will call him a “scene stealer,” but if he’s not great, he would blend into the background. Andy Samberg Samberg’s departure is perhaps the biggest risk of the three “SNL” castmembers reportedly looking to fly the coop. Unlike Wiig and Sudeikis, he has not been the lead or major featured player in a successful film. Indeed, he’s been a supporting player in a number of misfires and is a hard sell as a leading man. He’s going to make a go of it with the upcoming Sundance Film Fest crowd pleaser “Celeste and Jesse Forever,” and there seems to be a lot of interest in his upcoming summer comedy with Adam Sandler, “That’s My Boy.” But Samberg’s problem may lie in the very thing that’s made him famous: his goofball shtick. The Digital Shorts he brought to “SNL” with his Lonely Island crew have been insanely popular, but Samberg has so far been at his best in small doses. To make a strange analogy, there’s a reason Leslie Knope is the lead character on “Parks and Recreation” instead of Ron Swanson or Tom Haverford. It’s because wild and crazy works for supporting characters, but leads have to be able convey far more depth and connect with audiences. Samberg has yet to prove he can do that. Prediction : He may have a rough go of things until he finds his footing, but if he’s able to bring the kind of creativity and innovation to his post-“SNL” career as he did to his time on the show, he’ll figure things out. He really needs to dial it back and prove he can be more than the zany sidekick. Which “SNL” star do you think will have the most success after leaving the show? Let us know in the comments below!

‘Hunger Games’ Shoots Down All-Time Records

After spending an elusive third straight week at #1, ‘The Hunger Games’ now ranks among the biggest box-office successes in history. By Kevin P. Sullivan Josh Hutcherson in “The Hunger Games” Photo: Lionsgate For the third weekend in a row, “The Hunger Games” proved its power as a serious box-office champion. Two competitors stood a chance to take the top spot, but both “American Reunion” and “Titanic 3D” fell short, leaving “The Hunger Games” at the top with earnings of nearly $303 million since its debut. Now that “The Hunger Games” has racked up its third consecutive weekend at #1, it seems like an appropriate time to see where the film stands among the all-time box-office champs, what records have been broken and what records still stand. Consecutive Weekends With so many movies coming out each week, it’s often difficult for a film to retain the top spot in its second weekend, let alone its third. Repeat weekends have become a mark of true success at the box office and signs of a real hit. With this weekend, “The Hunger Games” became the first film in 2012 to spend three straight weeks at #1. The most recent movie to achieve that was “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” back in November of last year. Versus “Twilight” Speaking of the vampire romance series, “The Hunger Games” officially passed the highest-grossing film in “The Twilight Saga,” “Eclipse.” The third “Twilight” movie grossed just over $300 million, right behind where “The Hunger Games” stands after its third weekend. Many had compared the two series throughout the lead-up to “The Hunger Games,” but since its debut “The Hunger Games” has thrived off word-of-mouth and a larger male audience than “Twilight.” Champion of 2012 Right from the start of the summer movie season, the biggest tentpole films of the year already have a film to beat. “The Hunger Games” is far and away the highest money earner of the year so far. Its total gross currently stands roughly $104 million ahead of its closest competition, “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.” The toughest competition has yet to come, however. With releases like “The Avengers,” “The Dark Knight Rises” and the first “Hobbit” still on the lineup for 2012, it will be difficult for “The Hunger Games” to hold onto that spot. Opening Week So much of the “Hunger Games” buzz came from its enormous opening weekend, the third best of all time behind “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” and “The Dark Knight.” With a $152 million bow, it also ranks as the best March and spring opening ever. All Time Granted the movie is only three weeks old, “The Hunger Games” still has a long way to go before ranking among the highest earners of all time. It currently stands at #37 behind “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.” Do you think “The Hunger Games” will be the highest-grossing film of 2012, or will “The Dark Knight Rises” take the glory? ‘Glee’ Star Dianna Agron Talks About What’s Next For Quinn

Tuesday’s episode picks up in the aftermath of a car crash that left fans wondering the fate of Quinn. By Christina Garibaldi Dianna Agron Photo: MTV News The break is finally over for “Glee” fans, who, after a seven-week wait, may finally get their burning questions answered on Tuesday night (April 10). In the closing moments of the February 21 episode, Dianna Agron ‘s character, Quinn, is driving to Rachel and Finn’s wedding when she receives a text message. Her decision to reply resulted in a cringe-worthy crash and left viewers with a shocking cliffhanger . “Well, I knew [the crash] was coming because Ryan [Murphy] called me and said, ‘How do you feel about this?’ ” Agron told MTV News on Monday. “For me, the year after I graduated there were seven teens that died in car-related accidents, it was from drunk driving, texting and speeding … so I did think it was something that was important to be explored and could have an impact on people, so I wasn’t shocked or surprised.” It hasn’t always been easy for Quinn, who gave her baby daughter up for adoption, but it seemed like things were starting to look up for her after she was accepted to Yale and offered her old spot on the cheerleading squad. “I think everybody wants to know what happened because if that’s the last we see of Quinn, it’s very shocking,” Agron said. “But again, I think that the way it turned out to be, I think people will be satisfied with it and hopefully it will resonate with some people.” SPOILERS AHEAD So what happens to Quinn? “Well, they [Fox] released two songs yesterday for the next episode … and that very well might be my voice on those songs, it sounds an awful lot like my voice,” Agron laughed. The actress “has been filming the whole break,” and while she couldn’t give away too many details, she did say that Tuesday’s episode will not pick up exactly where we left off. “It’s not supposed to be the next week, it’s meant to be a couple months later,” she said. “It’s not the immediate aftermath.” Until the finale, “Glee” will chronicle the final days of McKinley’s High’s seniors as they gear up for graduation. “I think it will be fun and interesting for people to keep watching because it’s a lot of our last couple of weeks before graduation and it really explores a lot of that, and those feeling and what that entails,” Agron said. “I just think that everything that one experiences in that time period is what is going on there. For me, it’s nice to know and relive and think about those times.” Yet, what fans really want to know, will we be reliving Finn and Rachel’s wedding? “There’s still a ring!” Agron said Are you excited for the return of “Glee”? Let us know in the comments.

Madonna’s MDNA On Track For Biggest Second-Week Sales Drop Ever

Album is on pace to suffer an 88 percent drop in week two on Billboard charts. By Gil Kaufman Madonna Photo: PictureGroup/ Evan Agostini It appears that Madonna fans gave the singer all their luvin’ two weeks ago, and had little to spare during the most recent Billboard album sales reporting period. Though final figures will not be available until Wednesday morning, on Tuesday (April 10), Forbes reported that the “Girl Gone Wild” singer was on pace to put up the biggest second-week sales drop in chart history. Reporter Roger Friedman wrote that he was told that after debuting at #1 on sales of 359,000 copies in its first week, MDNA is on pace to tumble 88 percent to around 46,000 copies for the week ending Sunday. The piece even calls into question whether Madonna truly topped the charts in the first place, noting that “most” of the first-week sales were for albums included in the sale of tickets to the star’s upcoming tour. “That promotion artificially inflated Madonna’s numbers, putting her first before Lionel Richie and his Tuskegee album,” Friedman claimed. “I do think that all the people involved in the Madonna ticket-CD deal should apologize to Richie for denying him his rightful place at number 1,” he wrote. Madonna has done some high-profile promotion of the album, including playing the Super Bowl halftime show , a pop-in at the recent Ultra Music Festival in Miami, a Facebook interview and Twitter Q&A , but the combination of lukewarm reviews and two singles that failed to gain traction may have done the album in. If the numbers hold, Madonna’s drop will outpace one of her biggest acolytes, Lady Gaga , who suffered an 84 percent dip in week two for Born This Way. (That album’s sales were goosed by a discount 99-cent sale in its first week.) Then again, Gaga moved more than 1.1 million copies in her bow. Related Artists Madonna
