Ashley Greene is Boring as Shit of the Day

This is just a reminder that without Twilight, the biggest piece of shit movie to make stupid money cuz it is overrated as fuck, Ashley Greene is average at best. I guess when you put any girl up against Kristen Stewart, she’s gonna shine, but there’s really no reason why anyone should be giving her any attention, cuz she’s just not as hot as they make you think she is…

Jay-Z’s Yankee Memorabilia Is A Home Run, Fans Say

‘The Yankees selling Jay-Z stuff is just the best of both worlds,’ one fan says of Hov endorsing limited-run apparel ahead of concerts with Eminem. By MTV News staff Jay-Z and Yankees merchandise at Yankee Stadium Photo: Rya Backer/ MTV News Jay-Z already has one clothing line in Rocawear, and now that the Brooklyn rapper has partnered with the Yankees to co-brand threads in anticipation of his and Eminem’s September concerts , does Hov have a new empire on his hands? Well, not quite, since the Jay-Z/Yankee pact is only for a limited time . But MTV News hit the Bronx to get the word on whether the partnership is a home run. “I thought it was pretty cool, I think it’s cool that he’s doing stuff with the Yankees,” Paulette Esparza told MTV News. “The design is cool.” The line features an array of T-shirts, jerseys with S. Carter and the number four printed on the back (Jay’s birthday is December 4) and a series of fitted hats, including an all-black Yankees cap with The Blueprint 3 insignia on the side. The memorabilia is on sale, only at Yankee Stadium, through September 14. Despite the limited run, interest in the items appears to be high. (It remained unclear at press time whether Eminem would strike a similar deal with his hometown Detroit Tigers baseball team.) “I really like the hat, the hat is pretty cool,” Lauren Mastroianni said while visiting the ballpark. “I was just about to say that,” her friend Mike Nalafronte chimed in about the fitted cap. “With the emblem on it, I like that.” The marriage between Jay-Z and the Yankees began last year as the storied baseball franchise marched toward the World Series, which they eventually captured over the Philadelphia Philles in six games last October. Jay’s “Empire State of Mind” (featuring Alicia Keys) became the unofficial anthem of the team after captain Derek Jeter used the track for his at-bat music. Jay-Z then performed the number with Alicia Keys before Game 2 in New York and later rode with the team during their championship parade. The song also became the rapper’s first Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper, and the Yankees earned their 27th championship. “The Yankees selling Jay-Z stuff is just the best of both worlds, isn’t it,” tourist Alex Matthewson noted. Let’s Discuss: Just When Did Last Night’s Mad Men Flashbacks Take Place?

It was the biggest mystery of last night’s alcohol drenched Mad Men . No, not how Don Draper brought home a diner waitress amid a 48-hour bender. Rather, just when were those jarring, pre-Sterling Cooper Don Draper flashbacks supposed to take place? Ahead, senior editor S.T. VanAirsdale and I attempt to clear up this muddy Mad Men timeline.

Demi Lovato Says Frankie Jonas Has ‘Swag Like Justin Bieber’

‘He’s the biggest rock star of all of them,’ Lovato says of the youngest JoBro. By Jocelyn Vena Demi Lovato Photo: MTV News When fans tune in to “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” this Friday, they may be surprised to see that the fourth Jonas brother, 9-year-old Frankie, has a part in the sequel to the hit 2008 flick “Camp Rock.” And co-star Demi Lovato says that the kid has some swagger. “He’s the biggest rock star of all of them,” she told MTV News. “He’s got swag like Justin Bieber and he rocks out like Mick Jagger, so he’s kind of a combination of the two. He’s kind of like the ultimate rock star. Watch out, Justin Timberlake!” While he may be as cool as Bieber, the Bonus Jonas says that of all his brothers, he most relates to Joe . “We never bully. We never even fight. We just have little bickers,” he said. “I’m most like Joe because I’ve been a role model with him ever since we lived in Wyckoff, New Jersey.” And much like Joe, Frankie would love a career in Hollywood. “I would like to pursue my acting career and do a little music in the middle,” he explained. Having now starred in “Camp Rock 2,” lent his voice to “Ponyo” and made appearances on “JONAS,” it seems Frankie is well on his way to catching up with his brothers in the fame department. However, he still needs some encouraging words from his superstar brothers to keep him focused on his way to the top. “I’m feeling great because it’s awesome [to be here]. It’s my first live action [film] and to have my brothers with me is way more exciting because they make you feel more comfortable,” he explained, adding that they’ve given him some great advice. “They’ve given me a great one that my dad gave to them and they passed on to me during the filming of ‘Camp Rock.’ It says, ‘Live like you’re at the bottom, even if you’re at the top,’ ” he explained. “Remember where you came from.” Are you looking forward to seeing Frankie and his brothers in “Camp Rock 2” on Friday? Weekend Forecast: Can the Devil Beat James Cameron?

It’s the end of August — a historically stolid climate both outdoors and at the movies. That was never really truer than this weekend, with the Biggest Movie Ever getting some cheese sprinkled on top before a reheat in the multiplex microwave and nothing really blowing anyone’s mind (or pocketbooks) at the art house. But is it worth taking the weekend off entirely? Hardly! Let’s check out the forecast:

Vincent Cassel on Mesrine, Black Swan, and Acting: ‘You Need a Hard-On, Perpetually’

Don’t hate Vincent Cassel for having it all: If it wasn’t enough that he’s one of the biggest matinee idols in France, he’s also married to Monica Bellucci. It’s fitting then, that someone of his stature would play a criminal like Jacques Mesrine in the new filmic diptych Mesrine: Killer Instinct and Mesrine: Public Enemy No. 1 — though the murderous Mesrine did a lot of bad things in 1970s France, he somehow became one of the country’s most popular celebrities. The charming and candid Cassel sat down with Movieline this month to discuss his interpretation of Mesrine, his own love of celebrity, and the pair of English-language films he has on the way: Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan , and David Cronenberg’s A Dangerous Method.

Open Thread: Big Labor to Pool Resources Against ‘Right-wing Group Labor Assault’

Apparently sensing that November could spell disaster for union-friendly candidates, some of the heaviest hitters have agreed to team up.  The leaders of the AFL-CIO and the Service Employees International Union have agreed to coordinate spending millions of dollars in the midterm elections to support pro-union candidates, most of them Democrats. The two labor organizations say they have a combined $88 million or more to deploy in this year’s election cycle. It’s not clear how much of that money they will pool together. The renewed alliance between the two big labor groups comes as Democrats are battling to retain control of both houses of Congress. The AFL-CIO and SEIU plan to target elections in 26 states, all but five of which they consider battleground territory, including California, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Ohio… “It’s unclear to what extent you’re going to see the labor and other groups be able to match the right-wing group labor assault,” said Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “I think labor’s main message will be that things have clearly begun to improve and the biggest mistake now would be to return to the failed Bush economic policies.” Putting aside for a moment Van Hollen’s ridiculous proclamations, do you think Big Labor’s cooperation will produce results?

Bachelor Breakdown: Mary Delgado Popped For DUI

A slightly nutty two-time contestant and one-time winner of The Bachelor was charged with DUI this morning in Tampa, Fla. Good ol’ Mary Delgado. Mary, whose real name is Maribel Delgado, won the sixth season of the reality show and once beat up Byron Velvick , whose final rose she accepted. Delgado, a former cheerleader with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, faces a charge of misdemeanor DUI after refusing a blood alcohol test. She was later released on $500 bail. Mary Delgado’s mug shot: 2010 edition! This isn’t Delgado’s first run-in with the law. She was arrested in 2007 in Seminole, Fla., on battery charges for allegedly punching Velvick in the face. More than a year later, in November 2008, Mary was hauled off to jail for public intoxication, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct in Del Rio, Texas. The couple weathered ups, downs and beatings for years, but never married and went their separate ways in December 2009. Pretty sad story. On the plus side, Vienna Girardi is no longer the biggest train wreck to have ever won The Bachelor . Take comfort in that, V – you’re no Delgado!
