Eddie Murphy’s Daughter Takes It Off For Maxim Mag [PHOTOS]

Read the original:

Bria Murphy, the 21-year-old daughter of Eddie, posed in Maxim magazine’s latest issue wearing bikinis her father likely wouldn’t approve of. But as the spokesmodel for Dark and Lovely hair products, it’s clear she’s becoming her own (business) woman. On her favorite body part: I’m most proud of my legs right now. Sometimes it’s my stomach. But lately I’ve been getting compliments on my legs. On her go-to drink: I love moscato, but if I’m out partying with friends, I have to admit I like the Patrón. On dating (and her dad): It can be kind of nerve-racking [to meet my dad]! My dad is really cool and laid-back, and, no, he doesn’t like his daughters having boyfriends. On the other hand, he has never been disrespectful or anything. He’s always been really nice to the guys. I think everybody wants to make my dad laugh. That’s everybody’s goal. I’ve seen them succeed a few times. Not all the time. On if she plans to follow in her father’s footsteps: I love his comedy, but his music is really great, too, so I love them both. I’d like to do comedies and horror. I love scary movies. Whenever they come out, I’m the first one in line. I just saw Insidious . I was kicking at the screen I was so scared! I love something that’s gonna make me jump, that will freak me out. I like the whole nervousness you get. On what she does for fun: Six Flags is my go-to park because it has big roller coasters. I love roller coasters. I actually like waiting in line sometimes, but if my dad’s with me we can cut the line. He’s really selective about what rides he goes on, but he did almost everything with us when we went to the Harry Potter park at Universal in Florida. We weren’t disguised. But I’ve seen it get hectic before, so we have to walk fast. Vague 11-11-11 Trailer Leaves You Wondering What the Hell 11-11-11 Is About

Darren Bousman ( Repo! The Genetic Opera ) has directed three Saw movies — a fact which the trailer for next month’s horror pic 11-11-11 makes a point to tell you. That pedigree, plus a handful of vaguely comprehensible images, shadowy scenes, a static shot of a statue, and (unintentionally) cheesy voice over tell you everything you need to know about the movie! Well, except for its plot. And who’s in it. And why anyone should care. Watch the teaser and stick around for more Buzz Break.

Lady Gaga Does Marilyn Monroe At President Clinton B’Day

Mother Monster serenades president on his 65th; Usher and U2’s Bono also perform. By Gil Kaufman Lady Gaga (file) Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage Even with a galaxy of big stars on hand to honor former President Bill Clinton on his 65th birthday, it was, of course, Lady Gaga who made the big headlines Saturday night at the four-hour Clinton charity fundraiser , “A Decade of Difference.” Emerging on the stage from an all-white tree house, Gaga sang a sedate, unplugged version of “Born This Way” on keyboards, while wearing a giant cloth hat and flesh-colored cape over a similarly colored top and leggings. The backing track soon pumped up and a group of dancers came out as Gaga made her way down to the main stage and sang the line, “Don’t be a drag, just be a queen,” while the former president and his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, clapped and smiled along. Wearing a blond wig, Gaga paid homage to Marilyn Monroe by changing some of the lyrics to “Bad Romance” to “Bill romance,” prompting the president to later declare, “I thought, ‘My God, I get Lady Gaga, and I will have a heart attack celebrating my 65th birthday.’ ” “Well, I’m having my first real Marilyn moment,” Gaga joked after the opening, running her fingers through her mane. “I always wanted to have one, and I was hoping that it didn’t involve an accident with some pills and a strand of pearls, so here we are.” Gaga’s set also included a run through “Edge of Glory,” during which she said, “I wish you were playing sax with me tonight, baby,” an homage to late E Street horn man Clarence Clemons , who played on the song, but a quip that Clinton could have also taken as a nod to himself, as he’s also known for blowing a mean sax. The show took place at the Hollywood Bowl to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Clinton Foundation and, though his birthday was on August 19, Clinton was still feeling very thankful for all the fuss. “I am the only person in history who got to be President and then had a post-presidential birthday party attended by both Lady Gaga and the Secretary of State,” Clinton said to the crowd, which included such stars as Colin Farrell and Chevy Chase. “I want to thank Hillary because we met 40 years ago this year. When I met her, she was already doing the kind of work you see here long before it was cool.” Also on hand to fete the former president was Stevie Wonder, who performed “Superstition,” “Sir Duke” and “For Once in My Life” and U2 ‘s Bono and the Edge (accompanied by a laptop), who did acoustic versions of “Desire,” “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” “One,” “Staring at the Sun” and “Miss Sarajevo.” The pair also unveiled the first-ever live version of “A Man and a Woman” from 2004’s How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, dedicating it to Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky. The U2 singer praised the former president for his work in helping to broker peace in Ireland, saying that “at the top of the list” for playing the gig was the fact that his homeland is “truly at peace, north and south, because of the 42nd president of the United States of America,” who he dubbed the “most beloved president since JFK for us Irish.” Usher made news because he danced so hard that he split his pants during a mini-set that included a cover of the Joe Cocker take on the Beatles’ “With a Little Help From My Friends,” as well as his own “Yeah!” and “OMG.” Also performing were Columbian pop star Juanes, country singer Kenny Chesney, Grace Potter and K’Naan. Among the celebrities on hand to make introductions were Ashton Kutcher, Ellen DeGeneres, Jason Segel and Maria Bello. Related Photos The Evolution Of: Lady Gaga Related Artists Lady Gaga

Pure Comedy: Usher Split His Pants On Stage For A Good Cause

Last night, Bill Clinton brought out all types of A-Listers – and Usher – to celebrate the ten year anniversary of the William J. Clinton Foundation. It was a night full of music and reminiscing about all the good Clinton has been able to do with his “Diplomacy Rock Star” status since leaving the White House in 2001. But all that money and do-gooder-ness is probably not why Usher’s going to remember last night’s festivities. It wasn’t just rock (and pop) stars like Lady Gaga, Usher, Kenny Chesney, Stevie Wonder and half of U2 who came out for Saturday night’s A Decade of Difference concert at the Hollywood Bowl, which served as both a 10-year celebration of the global works of the Clinton Foundation as well as the belated 65th birthday party for President Bill Clinton himself (Bono and The Edge even took time out from their set to croon “Happy Birthday” to the former commander-in-chief). But while the night did, at times, take on a serious tone, those were interspersed between moments like Usher suffering a major wardrobe malfunction, Lady Gaga having her own presidential Marilyn Monroe moment, and Ashton Kutcher taking the stage to an onslaught of cheers. He was followed onstage by Usher, whose three-song set was so rousing that somewhere between “Yeah” and “Oh My God,” the R&B superstar’s pants split—though thankfully nowhere that comprised his modesty too much. Instead, Usher was forced to complete his set with his left thigh (and only his left thigh) bared—he made sure of that by holding his pant leg together during some of his more potentially exposing dance moves. We’ll take “Signs You Need To Give Up The Singing And Dancing On Stage ‘Cause Beiber Is Making You Rich Anyway For $1000,” Alex. Check out a few pics from the event below Source

Beyonce Speaks on Motherhood, Husband, Liberation

Having successfully shot down the most ridiculous rumor of the year , Beyonce can return her focus to her impending state of motherhood. That’s the main topic for the singer in the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar , as she opens up to the magazine about why she waited until now to start a family: “It was important to me that I gave myself time to focus on becoming the woman I want to be, building my empire, my relationship, and my self-worth, before I became a mother. Now God has blessed us with the ultimate.” Beyonce says patience was also a virtue in her relationship with Jay Z, about whom she has nothing but many great things to say: “We have been together since I was 20 years old. We took our time and developed an unbreakable friendship before we got married. I admire his ability to inspire others. “To me, Jay represents the American dream. Jay’s music has helped define our generation. All that he has overcome and worked to achieve gives millions hope that they can become whatever they want to be. I respect him so much; he is a great man and a great artist.” Finally, Beyonce talked about the level she’s reached in both her personal life and her professional life: “I am finally at the stage in my life where I am not so concerned with other people’s opinions about my life decisions. It is so liberating to really know what I want, what truly makes me happy, what I will not tolerate. I have learned that it is no one else’s job to take care of me but me.” For more from the star, pick up this issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

Hilary Swank on Weird Chechnyan Birthday Party Appearance: My Bad!

Hindsight being 20-20, Oscar winner Hilary Swank says she probably should have negged an invite top the birthday party for the President of Chechnya last week. You know, with the dude being accused of torturing and killing people and stuff. Swank, Jean Claude Van Damme and others attended a concert in Chechnya for president Ramzan Kadyrov on October 5, to the dismay of human rights groups. Hilary Swank Greets President of Chechnya “I deeply regret attending this event. If I had a full understanding of what this event was apparently intended to be, I would never have gone,” said Swank. The actress says at the time she accepted the invitation to the concert, she had no idea the event was intended to honor Ramzan Kadyrov personally. Swank gave a speech at the event, however, and even wished him a happy birthday. Asked how she knows that, she replied, “I read … I do my research.” Kadyrov has been accused of torturing and murdering his political rivals, though Kadyrov claims that’s all lies, made up by opponents to make him look bad. Mission accomplished in that case.
