As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have broken up after just two and a half years of marriage. On social media and in the tabloids, you can find countless theories about why the actors decided to call it quits , but Jen and Justin have been mum on the issue. Despite the standard request for privacy, however, sources close to the former couple have been spilling the tea so such reputable media outlets as People . And so, a clear picture of exactly what went wrong is beginning to emerge, and the details have many fans downright shocked. In the days after the split, the most common narrative was that Aniston left Theroux for Brad Pitt . Now, that story is being exposed for the fan fiction that it always appeared to be. For starters, those who know the couple best say Jen wasn’t the one to pull the plug on the relationship. “It seems Justin gave up many months ago,” a source close to the actress tells People . “For the past few months, he has spent very little time in L.A. Jen very recently started telling people that they were over. She seems okay now, but was still hoping as of a few weeks ago that they could figure things out.” It seems Jen and Justin chose a rather ironic date for their last face-to-face meeting: “They saw each other late at night on Valentine’s Day in L.A.,” the insider claims. “They decided together that they would make the announcement the next day. Justin flew on a private jet to L.A. to see Jen one last time.” The source adds that not only was Justin the one who decided to call it quits, it was his decision to go public with the breakup. “Jen didn’t want to announce it for as long as possible, because she wanted to avoid the media attention,” says the insider. “Jen hoped that Justin would be low-key on her birthday so people weren’t wondering why he wasn’t with her. But that’s not Justin’s style,” the informant adds. “He wanted to make the announcement so he can live his life.” While we may never find out exactly what caused the actors to part ways, the consensus seems to be that Justin is th one who called it quits. Wendy Williams has turned her judgmental attention to Kim Kardashian. The cruel and always-misguided talk show host took aim this morning at the often-naked reality star, taking Kardashian to task for… well… … for often being naked. Over the past few days, Kim has hearkened back to her birthday suit-filled past, sharing one risque photo after another on Instagram . It has been a little bit strange to witness, but also a lot harmless. Most people would look at these mostly nude Kim Kardashian photos , shrug and move on. But most people (thankfully) are not Wendy Williams. “Kim, it’s clear Kanye has nothing for you except dribble and dribble and evil conversation,” Williams said on air, adding of Kardashian and her husband: “It is clear that Kanye does not pay attention to you. It’s clear to me that you’re desperately trying to stay in the spotlight.” Wait… can we back up here a moment? Did Williams just allege that Kanye West lacks mental capacity, following his nervous breakdown toward the end of 2016? Hence the “dribble” comments? And “evil conversation?” What the heck is she talking about?!? We often ask this question of Williams. She wasn’t done, either. “Kanye makes money, Kim makes more, why are you still doing this?” Wendy asked, continuing as follows: “It’s not even about the mother thing, forget the mother thing, because a lot of people will say, ‘Oh, she’s a mother.’ It’s about, she doesn’t have to do that anymore.” Wendy’s point is that Kim maybe had to pose naked in order to build her brand, but the brand has now been built. She’s a success. She’s a mega millionaire. She has millions of online followers. What’s the point at this point? “That would be like Cardi B returning to the poll on a Saturday night or something like that,” added Williams. “There were a lot of racy pictures. We saw full boob. She has a beautiful body, but so what?” We don’t necessarily disagree with Williams here. This isn’t her most ridiculous take of late, that’s for sure; this isn’t her calling Oprah fat again or saying she’s sick of the #MeToo movement or anything. It’s just a waste of breath and another example of Williams only being able to make a name for herself by slamming other celebrities. Kim, meanwhile, went on the offensive against Lindsay Lohan yesterday, questioning the weird accent Lohan sometimes uses . (This was in response to Lohan saying she is “confused” by Kardashian’s new hairstyle.) And Lohan was recently a guest on Williams’ terrible talk show. Wendy, therefore, felt a need to defend Lindsay, hilariously deciding this is one star she does NOT feel a need to judge. Quite the opposite, in fact. “Lindsay is back and ready to be back on top,” Williams said this morning. Okay, that settles it. That is clearly Williams’ most absurd opinion to date. Last year, the world learned that Ewan McGregor split from his wife of 22 years . Some say that they separated last Spring, but the secret got out when Ewan was spotted kissing Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Whoops. Well, now Ewan is taking things a step further — because he's filed for divorce. Ewan's 15-year-old daughter is not taking it well. And, as you can see in the video below, she's baring her soul in a song that kind of roasts her dad. Ewan McGregor is one of those actors on whom everybody's mom has a crush. Or maybe I'm generalizing? Anyway, he's best known for his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Most recently, though, Ewan McGregor starred on Fargo . And do you know who one of his costars was? Mary Elizabeth Winstead. In one of those life-immitates-art scenarios that seem to happen when there's a middle-aged man spending a lot of time with a beautiful younger woman, the two went from sharing scenes to sharing kisses in public. It's believed by many that Ewan McGregor may have separated from his wife, Eve Mavrakis, some time in the Spring of 2017. Ewan's family has characterized this as a mid-life crisis. Ewan is 46 years old. Together, he and Eve have four children. TMZ reports that Ewan McGregor has filed for divorce , citing irreconcilable differences. He's filing for joint custody and expressed a willingness to pay spousal support. TMZ mentions that their sources say that there's no pre-nup in place, so this could be a very costly split — with their shared property being split in half. (A photo of Ewan in much younger days, closer to the time when he and Eve tied the knot) It may be that Ewan isn't too concerned about money at present because he anticipates a revival of his Star Wars career. At this year's Golden Globes , Ewan McGregor was sporting a beard reminiscent of his Obi-Wman role. Additionally, rumors have been circulating that an Obi-Wan film is in the works, though Disney has yet to confirm this. It will reportedly begin filming in 2019. We don't imagine that he'll be locking lips with Mary Elizabeth Winstead in that — Obi-Wan's only canon love interest was Duchess Satine of Mandalore, and she died before the events of Revenge of the Sith . But if he comes out of this divorce hurting financially, an influx of cash from Disney might be just the balm that he needs. But there's more than one way to be hurt. Did you know that those kissing photos with Mary Elizabeth Winstead surfaced on the birthday of Ewan McGregor's 15-year-old daughter, Esther McGregor? October 22nd. Divorce is an important option for so many couples, but more often than not, it's hell on kids. Some children blame themselves. Others feel betrayed by a parent who seems to be tearing apart their family. Esther McGregor clearly falls in the latter category. In a video posted to Instagra, Esther sings a song that she wrote. She all but spells out that it's about her father's new relationship. She even throws in a line about the world (herself included) seeing her dad kiss his new girlfriend on Esther's birthday. In the lyrics, Esther responds to the “s–t” she “found online” with: “I don’t know to forgive. I don’t know if I can. Ruining me.” She has a lovely voice. We're sorry for what she's going through. Divorce, as a process, can be hell. There's really nothing that you can tell the kids to show them the light at the end of the tunnel. This is a very healthy way for her to express herself. Just a little over a week ago, fans unfairly slammed Amy Roloff after they assumed that Matt Roloff was banned from his son Jacob’s early birthday party . We talked about how undeserved the hate that Amy received was, and Matt Roloff himself decried the rumors when he saw them. But if you still need proof that Amy and Matt Roloff aren’t at each other’s throats, look at how they came together for their son, Jacob. Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff are divorced. Even though they live so close to each other and star on Little People, Big World and will always be linked by their children (and grandchildren!), they don’t have to be joined at the hip. Amy Roloff has her boyfriend, Chris Marek , and Matt Roloff has his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. They’ve both moved on. That’s life. But that hasn’t stopped some fans from reading too much into their separate lives and then assuming that the two can’t stand to be in the same room with each other. Like they did just a little over a week ago, when Jacob Roloff celebrated his birthday with his mom. Jacob Roloff is now 21 years old. Several days before his birthday, the son who was once the family “black sheep” spent quality time with his mom (and not just to sell bread ). Matt’s siblings and their spouses and even his little niece and nephew (his niblings!) gathered together for an early celebration at Amy’s place. One of the results was a precious group photo — a rare sight, since the Roloff children are all adults now and not all of them even live in the same state. Matt Roloff was conspicuously absent, which ruffled some feathers by fans who seem to resent that Amy Roloff has her own life. A report claimed that Matt didn’t even receive an invitation … but he was elsewhere with his girlfriend, so it really shouldn’t have been controversial. Some reality stars try to avoid reading gossip about themselves. That can’t be good for your stress levels, right? Not so for the Little People, Big World patriarch. After seeing coverage that claimed an epic feud between the exes, Matt Roloff slammed the “fake news” about his family , writing: “Fake news is alive and well.. how sad. The roloff family just keeps hanging closer and closer together despite these broken misleading headlines …” Not to be nitpicky, fake news would be if some accused Audrey Roloff of selling human organs out of a nonexistant Burger King attic. Rumors would be people seeing separate exes and assuming that they’re feuding. (Still, Matt Roloff’s version is still better than Trump’s, since the orange man uses the phrase to refer to news that he doesn’t personally like) Matt’s post continues: “Matt, amy, Jer , zach Audrey, Tori, molly, Joel, Jacob, Izzy, Chris and caryn. All working together to surprise you all at how an American family can function together despite a few minor differences.” That’s sweet. And then he teases the new season of Little People, Big World : “Wait for it…… a few short months.” If you feel like you can’t wait “a few short months” and you also can’t take the Roloffs at their word (for whatever reason), would it help you to know that both Matt and Amy were at Jacob’s actual birthday party? Unlike on Thanksgiving and Christmas and numerous other holidays, and perhaps for the first time (that we’ve seen) since Molly’s wedding, Matt and Amy were together at the same place, at the same time. Because Jacob is their son, folks. Among the videos from Jacob’s 21st birthday party shared briefly on social media via Instagram stories were shots of Amy and Matt with Jackson and Ember, respectively. So, yes, they were at the same party. They can definitely stand to be in the same room together. Everybody needs to take a deep breath and stop making assumptions. It may have not been the wildest 21st birthday party on record, but it was a wholesome family gathering. Speaking of alleged Roloff feuds and that party in particular, Audrey and Jacob buried the hatchet — if there ever really was one. (It’s long been believed that, perhaps over religious differences, the two don’t see eye-to-eye. Maybe they don’t, but it’s clearly not too big of a deal) We think that what causes all of this unfounded fan speculation is that we’re all starved for more information about the Roloffs because Little People, Big World isn’t back yet. But, as Matt Roloff says, we just need to wait a few months. Whatever real conflicts that family has will probably be shared with us.
