While vacationing in Lake Austin, Texas over the weekend, the close friends and fellow CW stars decided to pose on a dock in half their birthday suits in order to bring attention to an important cause. No, not their abdominal muscles. “Stay Sunday Strong,” Amell wrote online along with a link to his Padalecki’s charity T-shirt campaign. “My buddy Jared Padalecki wants you to Always Keep Fighting.” Padalecki has been very open and honest about his struggle with anxiety and depression for years now. In response to this illness, the Supernatural stud created T-shirts to help benefit To Write Love on Her Arms, an organization that supports people struggling with similar mental health issues. “To a degree there is certainly a taboo attached to it still,” Padalecki has told E! News. “There’s still a large portion of the population who just want to say, ‘Buck up. Put on a happy face and everything goes away.’ For some people, that works.” But for others? “For those of us who aren’t so blessed, the message ‘Always Keep Fighting’ is for us,” he says. “Generation by generation, we’re slowly stripping away that taboo, that strange dynamic of, ‘Oh, there must be a problem with you if you feel this way.” Amell, meanwhile, will return to your small screen when Arrow Season 4 kicks off this October; while Padalecki will do the same when Supernatural Season 11 premieres the same month.

Once the government learned of the dogs’ existence, they actually gave Depp a time frame during which he could evacuate the canine… or else they would be killed . Now, as a result of the same incident, Depp’s wife, Amber Heard, has actually been charged two counts of illegally importing Pistol and Boo into the country. She also faces one count of producing a false document, the Commonwealth Department of Public Prosecutions said on Thursday. If convicted across the board, Heard faces a $75,000 fine… and 10 years in prison. Earlier this year, Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce accused Depp of smuggling the couple’s puppies aboard his private jet while filming the fifth movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. (The shooting of which ought to be a crime in and of itself.) “If we start letting movie stars – even though they’ve been the sexiest man alive twice – to come into our nation (with pets), then why don’t we just break the laws for everybody?” Joyce said at the time. “It’s time that Pistol and Boo buggered off back to the United States.” Australia has strict quarantine regulations to prevent diseases such as rabies from spreading to its shores. It’s a complicated process to bring dogs into the country, one that involves permits and quarantines, and one that Depp and Heard ignored. A Colorado jury has found James Eagan Holmes guilty of first-degree murder in the deaths of 12 people at an Aurora movie theater three years ago. As a result, Holmes could face the death penalty. Despite an attempt by defense attorneys to paint Holmes as insane for his attack at a premiere screening of The Dark Knight Rises on July 20, 2012, the culprit was found guilty of the following: 24 counts of first-degree murder. 140 counts of attempted murder. One explosives count. “The families in Aurora have found justice; we must now work to prevent cases like these,” said Congresswoman Watson Coleman in response to the verdict. Holmes, a 27-year old former doctoral student in neuroscience at the University of Colorado-Denver, pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to the charges against him. He never denied carrying out the bloody massacre. With his hair dyed orange, Holmes told police upon apprehension that he was The Joker . At the time of the rampage, he wore a ballistic helmet, a vest, a throat protector, a gas mask and black tactical gloves. Sentencing begins next Wednesday and it may take as long as a month before we know whether Holmes receives the death penalty or simply life in prison.
