Claiming his client should not be pressured to speed up the process, Marshall Waller writes : “What is really going on here is that an ‘urgency’ in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Humphries] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kim] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial.” With Kardashian worried about her fetus due to this never-ending legal battle, Humphries’ team asks: “Why would [Kim] plan to get pregnant in the midst of divorce proceedings?” The divorce proceedings have dragged on for nearly a year-and-a-half now, yet Humphries is basically saying he doesn’t understand the rush to complete them. He also insists on present for Kim’s deposition… but his work schedule prevents this from happening until at least the middle of May.

The creepy child hostage situation in Alabama continues to unfold almost a whole week later…. Alabama Man Continues To Hold Boy Hostage Underground For Seventh Day In A Row An Alabama man who fatally shot the bus driver who attempted to protect the 20 children on the bus last Tuesday is still continuing to hold a 5-year-old special needs boy whom he took from the bus hostage in an underground “shelter.” via ABC News A 5-year-old boy was being held hostage for a seventh straight day in an underground bunker in Alabama on Monday, and authorities remained tight-lipped about talks to free him from the gunman who shot and killed his school bus driver. The boy, who is due to celebrate his birthday on Wednesday, was taken from the school bus and locked away in a home-made shelter on the property of Jimmy Lee Dykes, 65, a Vietnam veteran and retired trucker at the center of the hostage drama in a rural corner of southeast Alabama. Dykes has been identified by the local sheriff’s department as the man who last Tuesday fatally shot bus driver Charles Albert Poland, 66, as he tried to protect the more than 20 children on the bus during their ride home from school. Authorities have identified the boy only as Ethan, who suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder. There has been no indication that Ethan has been physically harmed by Dykes, whom the local sheriff’s office has thanked for allowing the boy to receive medication, coloring books and toys. Tyler Perry sent Oprah a bouquet of flowers for her 59th birthday Tuesday. Nice. Apparently it wasn’t a small one, because she injured her back picking them up. Perry posted a mea culpa on Facebook, under the title, “I Feel So Bad.” “I like to send really large flower arrangements to people for whatever occasion. Well, I sent one to Oprah for her birthday. She strained her back picking it up,” he writes. “No joke! Feel better Oprah. Happy birthday. Sorry. :-(” “Next year I’m sending her one rose. :-)” The day before, Winfrey shared on Twitter that she was spending her birthday with longtime sweetheart Stedman Graham. “Enjoying lunch with Stedman. No plans to leave p.j.’s all day,” she wrote. The following day, she posted a picture of her surrounded with flowers (presumably Tyler’s) along with the words, “Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes.” Perry was still feeling bad, she posted a message for him too: “@tylerperry no need to feel bad, love the roses and got an extra day in bed. Can you say #icepack” Clearly there’s no hard feelngs. Winfrey inked a multi-year deal with Perry, under which he will executive produce, write and direct two new scripted series for OWN.
